I bought a 650 Dragstar {the UK version of the VStar} back in 2000 {as a 50th birthday present, to myself} ....I originally wated a Virago, but by 2000 Yamaha had stopped producing the Virago, so I settled for a Dragstar {V-Star} ...it was a good choice. It's my bike for life, even now at almost 75yo, I still enjoy riding it.
@@skoorbyrret4578 it is.. it's a bike that does most things very well. And looks good. I was super happy with it.. super Kool memories with... Stay safe bro and happy riding
Great video love my vstar it’s all I need to have relaxing chill ride or pop to shop for some groceries, I get it this year classic 2009 model with 5600miles on clock for 2700£ , oryginalny was looking to get re350 but I’m mega happy with vstar
Have a 2008 Classic I bought last fall. My second one. Seat height can also be lowered by a inch and half(see Pacific Coast Star) . Also take a fairing real nice and foot controls have been put 4" forward for super relaxed seating. Pull all the air duct work out and get a carb kit from Craig Geneau. Really adds to performance. I cruise at 70MPH all day long and get 59/62 MPG on Canadian gallon. At 81 yeARS OF AGE THIS WILL BE MY LAST RIDE. Should have kept the last one but I wanted a Triumph .LOL
@Fuzzbuzzed please can i have some info of the diameter of the tubes? I really like them and can't find anyone who does this kind of job in my country ☹️ any info is really appreciated
