I don’t know how I managed to make this under a week, this never usually happens lol. But I guess I’m not complaining!

this is one of the saddest animatics i've ever watched, seriously! the music choice is amazing and the way you pair each verse with a certain person is absolutely brutalizing my heartstrings. your art perfectly conveys the emotions of each character and it's very soothing to look at. why did you have to use your artistic skills to make everyone who sees this cry?

i'm stunned...,, oh my god this was so good. The "anywhere i want just not home" part just absolutely punched me in the face and i keep replaying it and ahhhhh and then the transition to pink just hurt- and the song is absolutely perfect and this whole thing is just so amazing!!
I clicked on this by mistake then saw the song and was surprised, then saw Wilbur and just accepted I was going to cry

The way you animated Ghostbur just hovering and watching everyone felt perfect especially with how he's been running around actually invisible. And making his shirt yellow the entire time worked excellent as it made him see paler.

This animatic is incredible! It demonstrates such a wonderful grasp of Ghostbur as a character! Not to mention everyone else's inner conflict about him is portrayed so well! And the DRAWINGS! The drawings are beautiful, they're so clear and expressive! I love everything about this!
I like the idea that everyone got something of Wil’s when he died. Tommy and Tubbo each having a glove, Fundy and the beanie, Phil has his sword, and then I feel like Alex got his guitar and Niki has some of his clothes. Then there’s techno who tries not to hold sentiment so he just holds memories instead of a physical object so people can’t use it against him.

And THIS. THIS is why the smp storyline is so compelling to me, and you've put it all into one well-directed animatic. Morally grey people breaking each other's hearts, leaving so much damage behind. Families, friendships, and nations destroyed in the wake of misguided ideals and reckless decisions
This song fits so well with Wilbur's death and the events during that time. The Philza part and the lyrics there were heartbreaking. The "I didn't have it in me to-go with grace." And I also loved the part with Tommy. "And if I'm dead to you why are you at the wake, cursing my name. Wishing I stayed." The art was amazing as well. I love your style!
This really hit differently from other Wilbur/Ghostbur animatics I've watched. It's wholesome, but at the same time it's borderline sad. I like it!
This hit so much harder than I thought it would. Just, everything that happens when the line "if I'm dead to you why are you at the wake cursing my name" gave me chills. AND the line "I didn't have it in myself to go with grace" is just TOO PERFECT for Wilbur it kills me

i never thought i would see a dreamsmp animatic with a taylor swift song but im SO glad it was made.
also i didn't realise how much this song relates to wilbur especifically i just fucking love it and ur artwork its amazing
this is one of the most well-thought out and most fitting animatics i have ever seen. the story of wilbur's fall from grace fits so perfectly with the lyrics of this song-- and the ghost choir in the background and soft melodies add to ghostbur's perspective in such a subtle but meaningful way. i would have never seen such a brilliant and achingly beautiful storyline that connects back to the SMP in this song. and i love how you included EVERYONE who loved wilbur and was hurt by his actions in his demise, not just tommy or wilbur's family. bravo-- well done!
"I can go anywhere I want- just not home" is a line that fits Ghostbur and Tommy very well.
Ghostbur has no memory of the sad times and he's out of or unaware of the wars around him, he's free from the problems and worries, but the price to that is he's also detatched from the problems and concerns of people he used to care a lot more about. He may not realize it, but he can go anywhere and he'll never be back at his old home, because he no longer remembers it.
Tommy is usually deemed as free and powerful and protagonist convenience, he can do great things and he can go far, but the price to that is never being able to make himself a home that won't go away.
this is like my 4th time crying to this video. it is still one of the best animatics I've seen in a long time. Whew.

EXCELLENT STORYTELLING AND EMOTIVES!!
The imagery in this made me cry. The lyrics match well with Ghostbur's character. My favorite parallels that you drew were for Fundy with the line "cursin' my name, wishin' I stayed"', Tommy with 'hero flyin' round saving face,' and Philza with "you had to kill me but it killed you just the same." Also, great use of color to separate the time periods and tone and great lighting in the last few frames. Great job on the animatic!

This remains, to this day, one of my favourite dream smp animatics, and the ONLY one to make me actually cry. Not just a few tears, CRY. Like actually loud, ugly sobs at 2am. I love this and I constantly rewatch it and you are amazing 💖
I love this so much, oh my god. I haven’t seen people draw that many places in animatics, more key places (like the button room) but I absolutely adore the drawing of Ghostbur crying in his library. I am 1000% being manipulated by Ghostbur because I feel so bad for himmmmmm like he doesn’t know what he did, just that everyone hates him and everyone praises the person who killed him. 😭😭 you portrayed that really well- this is so gooooooooooood

I love this so much because it perfectly portrays how wilbur thought when he died, it wouldnt really matter to anyone, and everyone would just give up on l'manberg, but then he realizes that what he did had effects on other people, hence the "my tears ricochet" part. also thanks a lot for using this song i've been waiting for someone to do it for soo long lol

The amount of emotion is killing me.
The colour palette is so simple it's just base colour, light and wilbur and it's so genuinely powerful. All the frame in yellow are so comforting and happy and that just makes all the other ones sadder! The frame on 2:36 is so lovely and just adds to it, the feeling because it looks so warm and... like home.
The lyrics are so fitting and it tells the whole story.

this is amazing, one of the best animatics I've seen, the perspectives are amazing and it really explores a side of ghostbur that a lot of people don't acknowledge. the expressions are really nice, also it's refreshing to see someone portray techno with strong emotions other than anger because it makes sense that he'd be heavily affected by wilburs death! I like how you interpreted the lyrics for everyone, it's amazing! I also just really like how you draw faces! I really love this, you did great!

Oh god this is PERFECT. Perfect and painful, I don't know how many more times I can watch this before my heart is completely shattered...still, I really enjoy this. Your choice of lines and verses for each character is utterly perfect. Tommy's verse having the line "and you're the hero flyin around saving face" makes so much sense, especially given the hero/protagonist motif woven though his arc. Fundy paired with "You know I didn't want to have to haunt you/but what a ghostly scene" made me cry. And the recurring theme of "If I'm dead to you/why are you at the wake/cursing my name/wishing I stayed" for all the characters who had complicated feelings about Alivebur but still miss him? Absolute perfection. Plus "I can go anywhere I want/anywhere I want/just not home" with frames of happier times? Devastating, I love it. Especially since "home" is a frame of him hugging Philza... :''''''''') this is fine. And of course the line "You had to kill me/but it killed you just the same" paired with the scene where Philza is forced to kill Wilbur...now THAT hurt. The last bit with quick frames of different characters along with the lyrics was perfectly paired too, especially Techno(?) with "crossing out the good years". I also thought your use of color throughout this was perfectly done, switching between blue, yellow, and red really gave a sense of contrast between past and present, and good times and the bad. Absolutely brutal on the heart, well done.
