Christians believe that Jesus is the Gospel. His teachings and his life is the Gospel. He died to save our soul and he rose again conquering death. This is the core Christian belief. The Gospel was not given to Jesus.
Muslims get confused because the Quran was given to Mohammed and they believe that others do believe the same, including ignorant Mohammed.

The real Injil, Zabur, and Taurat? Here, in the Quran in its pure form, the word is there... That is why the Quran had some of Bible's words. This is why God calls them people of the Book. God actually wanted us to believe the holy book revealed by Allah in Quran. Thus, the mentioned Injil, Zabur, Taurat which Allah asked us to believe is in Quran and not believe in today's Bible

The Qur’an doesn’t mention anything about BIBLE, it clearly says the GOSPEL, this gospel isn’t the gospel of Matthew, Luke, Mark or John, but rather the gospel whom Jesus spoke about in so many passages of the gospels you have.
You believed that the Gospels you have were written under the divine inspiration of the Holy Spirit, then why do we find controversies and contradictions within the gospels?

﴿ وَأَنزَلْنَا إِلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ بِالْحَقِّ مُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ مِنَ الْكِتَابِ وَمُهَيْمِنًا عَلَيْهِ ۖ فَاحْكُم بَيْنَهُم بِمَا أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ ۖ وَلَا تَتَّبِعْ أَهْوَاءَهُمْ عَمَّا جَاءَكَ مِنَ الْحَقِّ ۚ لِكُلٍّ جَعَلْنَا مِنكُمْ شِرْعَةً وَمِنْهَاجًا ۚ وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ لَجَعَلَكُمْ أُمَّةً وَاحِدَةً وَلَٰكِن لِّيَبْلُوَكُمْ فِي مَا آتَاكُمْ ۖ فَاسْتَبِقُوا الْخَيْرَاتِ ۚ إِلَى اللَّهِ مَرْجِعُكُمْ جَمِيعًا فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ فِيهِ تَخْتَلِفُونَ﴾
[ المائدة: 48]
"And We have sent down to you (O Muhammad SAW) the Book (this Quran) in truth, confirming the Scripture that came before it and Mohayminan (trustworthy in highness and a witness) over it (old Scriptures). So judge between them by what Allah has revealed, and follow not their vain desires, diverging away from the truth that has come to you. To each among you, We have prescribed a law and a clear way. If Allah willed, He would have made you one nation, but that (He) may test you in what He has given you; so strive as in a race in good deeds. The return of you (all) is to Allah; then He will inform you about that in which you used to differ." (Al-Mā’idah:48)
Abu Umama R.A said : We went out with God’s Messenger ﷺ on an expedition and when a man came upon a cave containing some water and vegetables he felt inclined to stay in it and withdraw from the world, so he asked God’s Messenger’s ﷺ permission regarding that, but he replied, “I was not commissioned with Judaism, or Christianity, but with the easy Hanif religion. By Him in whose hand Muhammad's soul is, a morning or an evening expedition in God’s path is better than the world and what it contains, and for one of you to remain in the line of battle is better than his prayers for sixty years.” Ahmad transmitted it.

When Quran talks about Injeel, Taurat, Sabur, and so on, does it refer to the direct, verbatim, literal words of God in the same way the Quran represents? If so, do we have any Quranic ayat to support this point?
