Very cool! I never knew you could get soaked base and make the process that simple. I love how the one with the oatmeal "sprinkles" turned out too ❤

I’ve never used the melt and pour method. Not bc I’m opposed but bc I prefer the traditional cold process method my grandmother used. I actually clicked on the video bc the title said no lye lol. So I was being nosy and wanted to see what you were up to 🧐, but my assumption is that people who use this method mean that they aren’t handling the lye directly bc it’s already in the base you purchased. Is there less cure time this way? If I’m making for personal use I will wait a couple days to a week, but if I’m selling them I will cure it for at least 4 weeks depending on the oils used. Looks like yours were ready to go the next day.

It doesn’t take long to cure so yea it’s less, I let them sit two days max to make sure it’s really solid. I’m
no chemist and I go by what the ingredients say for the soap base I purchase. I trust they are being honest with what the soap base is made of. This process of soap making has just worked for me and I haven’t had any complaints or bad reviews.
