Yes, nearly all the players are of South Asian origin but once the standard has improved so that it gets televised and big money is available, the “locals” will become interested and take it up as has happened in the US. A very similar process to football (soccer ) which is becoming huge over there now and other documentaries have shown that players who didn’t make the grade in US baseball are using their skills in cricket now.
