Best tip I can give is to use the engineer class. Their shotguns can kill the Jedi in one shot if you're lucky, and you can use the fusion cutter to repair bookcases in the time gaps between waves.
I’d imagine the maps to feel empty then; either on the ground or in space. I wouldn’t mind it as a mode, but I’d prefer space being it’s own mode with boarding multiple ships. Have ground maps just get a capital ship in atmosphere so it’s ship to ground combat. Ship to space will either need Ai to fill the map or players, but that will effect game performance more. I’ll reiterate, I wouldn’t mind space to ground combat

Kit Fisto and Asajj Ventress were dlc heros for the original Xbox console and it didn't come out on ps2 and pc, but for pc they would indeed make a mod about it.

Now that people have 1440p screens and 4k TV's they have to include the 4K versions of the movie cutscenes so expect these games to take up a crap ton of file space like 50gb with 38gb being the movie. There's a reason games don't include movie cutscenes much anymore sadly. That said I am still beyond excited for this and so happy. SWBF2 2005 is my second favorite game of all time. Just be prepared for large download size as I am sure they upped the quality of not only the movies included but the assets and textures plus all the new maps and BF1 maps being ported to BF2 version too

Kit Fisto and Asaj Ventress + bonus extra maps were Xbox 360 Live online DLC exclusives back in 2005. Kit Fisto had force ball projectiles. While the mega 128vs128 bot mode was pc exclusive and splitscreen was PS2 exclusive I think. This brings it all together, with native Steam Deck and Switch support. For PC players both games only cost $2 each when they go frequently on sale, $20 normally not on sale and still have online with the native server browser working and with mods to this day, and it already worked well enough on Steam Deck I have personally tried it there and it was easy to run on Steam you just have to disable Discord overlay, so I can understand why people are less impressed by the price but still think it is still worth it. This is my 2nd favorite game of all time I have wanted to see this exact port happen for so long for console players and Switch players sake so I am so excited The thing with crossplay is they would have to have their engineers make a whole account system that everyone would have to sign into to play online and do a ton of networking work with all three companies to apply for it. Realistically that's outside of Aspyr's resource level and they don't have the manpower to do something like that at least according to the longtime Star Wars Battlefront 2 modders I talked to 90% of the file size of these games are the movie cutscenes which take up a lot of space. I wonder if part of it is how many comapnies the license splits between. EA owns the Pandemic content and the engine. Disney owns Star Wars and makes steep expensive licensing deals. Lucasfilm owns the music that's pricey. 30% software fee to each platform and high expectations from customers. Once you add that all together it might not seem like a very profitable endeavor to any studio considering trying to negotiate it on the surface And EA is too traumatized to make any more Star Wars stuff besides a couple exceptions like Jedi. Their execs are all about their in house stuff like Battlefield now that it's having trouble as they don't want to be dependent on others. They even cancelled a Mandalorian game yesterday which is the safest bet ever people have been asking for that for decades and that's despite the game getting rave internal play tester reviews and the devs apparently being really proud and passionate about it with work progressing well

I don’t think a battlefront needs a campaign. Bf 2017 sucked and og battlefront campaigns were just multiplayer levels with an intro. You could easily just add an intro before a match and get the same effect that og battlefront 2005 gave. Titanfall 1 and battlefield 1 did this. They should put more resources to offline and multiplayer than a campaign
Kit fisto and ventress from what I know are both from a mod, I saw this video that was looking over the trailer and in the trailer there were a few things that confirmed that they used the mod for the reboot however the way those two characters moved you could tell they used an older version of the mod where they were basically are reskins of aayla secura for ventress and not sure for kit. but that was just the trailer and maybe the release of the game they will use the up to date version of the mod or do it themselves.
