I cringe when an interviewer or anyone gushes over him as you can see how uncomfortable and clammed up he becomes. Interviews oike this where he gets to dive into his work and his love of acting and movies are so rare and brilliant to watch.
Even the actors love to talk about sports and get outside the "awe" questions; the awe of who they are and paparazzi-type questions. I bet Keanu liked just being one of the guys. That's Dan. Great interviewer. I've heard celebrities put an emotional wall up, so it was genuine-this interview. I smiled too.

Keanu Reeves seems like such a nice man. He seemed fairly relaxed here, which is fairly unusual for him, apart from when Dan Patrick kept going on about Bill & Ted. Jeez, that was like 25 years ago. Give the guy a break! 47 Ronin got killed by the critics, which is shame, because I really liked it. But I also love Crouching Tiger etc, so it is a genre I am fond of. Keanu Reeves has done some stellar movies, but I think so far My Own Private Idaho and John Wick are possibly my favourites. Well, they are today, anyway. Actually, I think Idaho will always been in my top three. He and River Phoenix were brilliant in it. He was awesome in Permanent Record actually, and he was really young when he did that. And he was brilliant as Donnie Barksdale in The Gift. He plays nasty pretty well. People need to start casting him in roles other than romantic leads. He has so much more to offer. I love watching him in action movies - he and Tom Cruise are part of a very select group of actors who have this ability to make their bodies look graceful even when they are exerting themselves - actually can't really think of any other actors like that off the top of my head except perhaps Jason Statham. But anyway, Keanu is 52 this year, he and Cruise are getting a bit old to keep pushing their bodies so hard. It takes its toll as you get older. I mean he was having massage, chiropractic treatments and ice baths (shudder) when he was doing The Matrix so goodness only knows what he was having to do to try and keep his body working when he was doing John Wick!

Over last few years he has became my fav actor. When he gets into a part he wants to really learn who ever he is playing, Who goes out and learns jujitsu, and learn how to shoot from the some of the best. Got to respect someone that goes all in for what they love.
