18:05 Mike mentioning message boards reminded me again, that my life would be totally different without LP. Back in fall of 2004, I began messaging a girl in a German LP fan forum. Back then we were two 16 year old teens loving LP and spending hours and hours in front of the computer to write to each other. We used to stay up really, really late and just chat. We spent so much time together online, that my grades in school even went down the hill and in the end I had to repeat the school year :D In May 2005 we met for the first time in person (we used to live 450 km apart) and became each others first real love. RIght now in 2023, we are in our mid 30s, have been a couple for 18 years, married for 3.5 years, are parents of the most wonderful daughter, own a house, and I could not be happier in life. And the fact that I would never have met this girl without LP is so crazy.

13:20 Mike talking about his experience of learning about Chester’s life fills me with so much joy. It also reminds me so much of his closing track, “What The Words Meant” on his solo record, Post Traumatic. You can tell Mike was writing about Chester’s stories and the emotions in them.

We are getting another Linkin Park experience Meteora style. We’re getting more LP. We are getting some Mike Shinoda stuff, pretty cool way to start off 2023
19:25 - 19:35 Funny he answers with this right after talking about AMVs, because the point when I started getting deeper into Linkin Park was after hearing Somewhere I Belong set to a short AMV focused on Setsuna from Fresh Precure. Years before that, the first Linkin Park music video I saw was Breaking the Habit because I heard it was key animated by anime director Kazuto Nakazawa.

I like the interviewer in this. She’s asking some normal questions and some dope questions but as he’s answering she chooses the best moments to be like “and that must have been intense” and mike responds to that but stays on topic. A great interview from both of them and it kind of seems like she actually digs Linkin park and wants to hear but has to love it along. Also I want to throw props to mikes outfit being a black t shirt, camo cargo pants, and some Nike shoes. Dad outfit to this day. If he had the red streak I would swear to you I watched this at 9 years old the last time my dad had me for a weekend. MTV was always on then and this set and interview just takes me back there.

You said no words and then said a bunch more words.
OK? Well fucking done for spotting that
It would be cool to have the old songs exactly how they were in 2003 and untouched but then have another “reimagined” version that Mike and everyone could try to revamp the songs. Regardless I’m stoked to hear some more LP! Miss Chester a lot. Rest in peace brother, you changed music forever
Loved this interview and how open mike was about everything.
You can see Mile relive some of these moments he talks about. You see the emotion, you can hear the emotion.
We are getting another Linkin Park experience Meteora style. We’re getting more LP. We are getting some Mike Shinoda stuff, pretty cool way to start off 2023
win win win
I miss Chester a lot. I miss him so much. 😢😢
The new song brings me back to old days.
It’s so awesome to see a new interview with Mike! ❤
This song is stuck on replay in my head.Legends live on.
Such a good conversation. So happy to hear that there is more to come from LP.
They have reached generations. I would listen to them when I was HS and now my son who is 11 and my daughters 6 and 8 listen LP. ❤
Meteora was a perfect follow-up to Hybrid theory. Definitely one of the best follow-up albums ever.
Great interview with Mike. I miss Linkin Park and I miss KROQ. It's great to see and listen to Nicole again.
Thanks to Mike, keeping my favorite album fresh and beyond. You never let me stop thinking about♡ Never forget♡
love this man
Linkin Park is my favourite group!!"Lost" is a great song and a nice surprise for fans.Mike you are a great artist and Chester will be proud that you continue....LP forever!!
Thanks Mike, for everything.
God I am fan girl’n hard right now! We love you Mike. Thanks for putting this out for us fans who still listen to LP. It helps us all when we get to see you!
I love Mike with all my heart i swear
Mike is one of the realest out there, so kind too man
I like the interviewer in this.
I am so excited for that behind the scenes footage!!!
We love you, Mike. Thank you for everything you do.
Mike is so incredibly likable
The song took me right back to 2003 🥹♥️. Best birthday present ever to get a new LP song from one of my favorite albums ever 🥰♥️. I'm cranking the volume to max singing my heart out together with Chester once again 🤘🏻😭♥️. I miss you Chester, you will never get lost in my memories 🥺❤️🩹. I love you LP ♾️🫂💙.

That what I just thought. My b day is Valentine's day. I was like yesss a good early birthday present. I didn't know how bad I needed an unreleased LP track
Happy birthday 🤗🌸

Happy Birthday, Mike ♥ We still love you so much ♥
28:00 i cannot get over the idea that in another parallel universe lost is in Meteora when it was released and numb wasn't in the album.
That’s just crazy to me that I have to say what you just said as well. Just imagine if Numb was released right now???!??!!??!!!?!!! Holy
SO Excited for this. THanks Mike & band for doing this.
So happy to hear him talk about LP, he seemed to stay away from that for a while! Lost is a great tune. Thank you for bringing it life and smiling when talking about Chester...
