Alan Wake 2 Xbox Series S [Resolution Update] Gameplay Review. If you're enjoying the video be sure to leave a like! Game Description: A string of ritualistic murders threatens Bright Falls, a small-town community surrounded by Pacific Northwest wilderness. Saga Anderson, an accomplished FBI agent with a reputation for solving impossible cases arrives to investigate the murders. Anderson’s case spirals into a nightmare when she discovers pages of a horror story that starts to come true around her. Alan Wake, a lost writer trapped in a nightmare beyond our world, writes a dark story in an attempt to shape the reality around him and escape his prison. With a dark horror hunting him, Wake is trying to retain his sanity and beat the devil at his own game. Anderson and Wake are two heroes on two desperate journeys in two separate realities, connected at heart in ways neither of them can understand: reflecting each other, echoing each other, and affecting the worlds around them.
Credit to Remedy for actually putting in the work to make the game look slightly better on Series S. I would personally be playing on Series X but still I have to give them credit which they deserve.
ya, props to Remedy for actually taking the time. Most studios would have just skipped this since it's a small bump, but I'm sure those console owners will appreciate the better quality a fair bit.
A lot of people complain about the Xbox Series S being weak, but the fact that it can run Alan Wake 2, which is one of the best looking games ever, and it looks good and runs at a pretty smooth 30 fps is impressive! It's objectively good looking. Xbox Series S always amazes me with how powerful it is for such a tiny size. I'm playing Alan Wake 2 on PC with ultra settings, but I totally wouldn't mind playing it on Series S based on what I saw in this video.
Have to say very solid game for me on series x, takes time adjusting from the action packed alan wake 1,there is a lot of walking back and fourth in this that slows the pace. My only big grudge was the fact Remedy (sam lake) allowed baby inc to input there narrative. Spoils its credibility.
Maybe, Remedy handles their code stuff internally now so they don’t like sending me stuff for some reason. Which is super odd since I’ve supported them quite a bit for a long time.
@infinitysynthesis You call alan wake 2 a game it's more like a movie game.I beat it once probably won't ever touch it again nothing about it made any damn sense
@@robertbell1804 you played Alan Wake 2, a game advertised as inspired by Twin Peaks, David Lynch, and A24, a sequel to Alan Wake 1 and Alan Wake American Nightmare, and a semi-sequel to Control, and you’re mad that it didn’t make sense…….. lol. A mind-bending story is the entire point of Alan Wake but they outright explain almost everything by the end
@ZacTheFirst lately I've been playing my PS2 PS3 I've been enjoying it way more than my boring ass PS5.Alan wake 2 all you do is fight these stupid shadow people solve these crime scene murder scenes is dumb as hell I will never replay it
@@robertbell1804 yeah the PS5 sucks. But again….. what were you expecting from a game directly advertised as a survival-horror game and a “playable A24 film”? The game literally has a part where you can sit in the theater and watch a 20-minute live action short film the devs actually spent time and money on if you choose… Maybe don’t sink $70 into a game whose entire purpose is to have a mind-bending story, especially if you didn’t play the original. The game clearly wasn’t for you lol

I’m gonna buy this back because it’s favorite horror game as well💯👌🎮🔥
Will you test this game on the Ps5 pro too?

hello everyone, but also to you Alan wake 2 crashes every hour and a half every hour or so?
no
This game is more demanding than rdr2 but that's just because it is newer and has raytracing and other technologies
There's no ray tracing on the Series S version as far as I'm aware.
Very nice game
Its better. Now it looks like a dried turd.
I bet a visual upgrade will make this boring game better
