I always get a kick out of the Steigers. I love when I go by a field and see one out there. They just have a cool history and they aren't bad looking tractors 😎

Great video of the baddest of the bad 4wd tractors ! The farm where they made the first steigers is about 40 miles from me.Theres a few old ones around the farm yet. The very first steiger lives at bonanzaville in west fargo,ND and is driven in a parade there.

Was the field bumpy it looks like the tractors bouncing

brandon carstens There are two reasons for the bumps. The big bumps are drain paths cut in the field in the fall. The ground is next to the Ohio River and is underwater all winter and a 3pt place is used to cut drains through the field in the fall to help the water flow out in the spring. When the 4wd hits the drain path you see it dip down and twist. The other bumps are from the fall tillage pass. The field was disked in the fall North to South. In the spring it is being disked, soil finished and planted East to West. The first disking pass is a bit bumpy going against the grain.

Hmmm. Watched your other video with the KP-1360 Steiger Panther /Landoll disk. Appears she went home and changed tractors. Noted the door open on the Panther, A/C quit working?????????

I think a field cultivator would do a better job than the disc in this field.
