As soon as you said you were holding a balloon, I was taken back to yesterday's expedition in the shopping centre. What was meant to be a few hours waiting for a car service, became a whole day there as new (urgent) repairs were done. At the end of the day, waiting for the last half-hour to pass, I'm nursing my coffee in the food court. I see a 2 year old, wrestling to free a balloon his mother wedged between the cup-holder and handle of his pram.
Watching him pull at this balloon, I'm quietly cheering for him. Half-expecting him to cry in frustration for someone to come help him - the little boy did eventually free it himself. Figuring how to push it out the top, rather than pull it through the bottom. When he freed the balloon and started spinning with it, I thought - good on you little one. You deserve to enjoy what you struggled so hard to free.
You know how you have those moments where you think, maybe there's a reason I'm seeing this? Well, your vision with the balloon, pretty much sums up what I saw in the supermarket. The spinning with the balloon, represents the celebration of what God will release to his children who persist with their mission too. Persisting upwards, instead of down. Seeking him instead of seeking what doesn't look like will come through.

I started watching videos of God collecting our tears in a bottle last night. One video said that He is keeping a record of all that you’ve suffered for righteousness sake.
