@jackiescrystalmoon hey Jackie, it was really one of those things…. If you know right away that you and the deck will not connect then yes it is better to gift them immediately…. When that happens to, me I place them on the bookshelf for a while and then try to pick them up time and time again and if after many tries it still does not work then I will get read of it…. What I have noticed is that my moods change, from the time I see the deck for the first time until I revisit the deck and it could be that for some reason I might be blocked or maybe I am going through something and then boom…. 💥 I will pick it up and we would connect….
You can really see the movement in those paintings. I have a box with decks I just could never connect to. Once or twice a year, I pull a few out and see if I have changed and can now read with them. Most of the time, I end up donating the decks, but every once in a while, the same thing happens to me as what happened to you with this deck. Perhaps it just wasn't the right time when you acquired it. I'm glad you're enjoying it now, it's a pretty deck!
Hello NYCHFAN, I am so happy to hear that I am not the only person this happens to…. I have about 30 decks in my hold shelve and waiting before I give them away to see if I will reconnect with some of them…. I am by now sure that some of this decks I will never connect with ever!!. It might be time to give many of this decks away NOW!! Thank you for sharing…☺️
