Why would he risk that again when she's already turned him down and keeps saying she wants to keep this like Vegas. Just a thought.
Rory’s a moron. My “fan-fiction hope” for how things turned out for Rory and Logan: Rory’s pregnant with Logan’s baby. Logan marries his fiancée, gives the marriage an honest effort and actually falls in love with his wife more than he thought he ever could. She helps him “move on” from Rory. Rory comes back later to Logan’s life revealing their “love baby”. Logan’s upset with Rory for not telling him sooner early on his marriage before life went on and got better. His wife finds out, divorces him, leaves him broke (except for whatever Huntzberger inheritance he has) and gets custody of whatever kids they have. Mitchum and family disown him and cut off all financial ties to him. He goes to be with Rory who still won’t marry him because she’s her mother’s daughter. He tries to work it out with her and tries to be there for their baby but Rory, like her mother, likes and wants things her way all the time and sucks at compromising. Logan’s frustrated, eventually resents Rory for keeping their kid a secret and ruining things between him and his ex-wife when she won’t even let him commit to her and their kid. He eventually just bails on Rory. A year or two later, Rory finally hears from Logan. He sends her a letter telling her he’s back with his ex-wife and their kids, lets her know that he set up a trust fund and college savings for their kid, he wishes her the best and hopes that she’ll still let him be a part of their kids life even though it never worked out between them. Along with the letter is a check to help Rory with expenses. Rory, with her pride and all, shreds up the check and reaches out to Jess in hopes he still cares and loves her but by then it’s too late as Jess found someone else too and knows Rory’s record of not being faithful. This, of course, doesn’t stop Rory from trying to win back Jess and she flirts with Logan whenever they come in contact for their kid. Both guys realize she’s trash and not worth their time, life and effort but Logan stays in contact for the sake of his kids but learns how to deflect Rory’s flirtations and advances. Rory raises her kid as her mom did. Kid does well. Rory lives a lonely life after her kid grows up and leaves the house. She’s full of regret for not being more honest in her life and letting Logan and Jess slip away.
I'm willing to bet that after their initial meeting in Hamburg it was Rory that came up with the Vegas deal. And because he's hopelessly in love with her and regrets letting her go, he went along with it. He'll have her in whatever small amount she is willing to give him. I think he would have dropped Odette in a second if Rory gave him some clear sign that she was willing to commit to him again. But he was afraid to push it in case he lost her again. It's all so bittersweet. It hurts my heart.
rjonahlyn I would like to point out when she turned down being his wife she just graduated from Yale. Rory had big plans for her career, she wasn’t planing on becoming the mistress and pregnant when she turned him down. No one knows what the future holds. Rory thought her future would be living in NYC writing for the New York Times or traveling and writing the best stories. She did not plan for her life to turn out like it did in this part of the series
@tori melbourne my whole problem with the way things went with the marriage proposal is that they made it seem like she couldn't have been in a loving committed relationship and follow her dreams at the same time. I think Rory and Logan should just end up together. Lorelai was never in love with Christopher like he was with her. Loreali was in love with the idea of Christopher. Luke is her soul mate. Even though intellectually Jess had a lot in common with Rory, for Rory I think she had an infatuation with his bad boy persona but was never in love with Jess. Sadly Jess never got over Rory. If Logan is the father I believe he would step up and want to be a family with Rory. Hopefully they don't rewrite history her a single mom not fair to Logan. Christopher was 16 and just wasn't ready to be a father and he just allowed lorelai to do everything herself instead of making a real effort. Logan would make an effort to be a present father.
revival was in generalASP Indulgence in Bullshit To quote Emily Gilmore She fuck up Logan's growth arc only because she hated that she was not involved in season 7
Rory is disgusting here. She's cheating with Logan just because she's too prideful to admit she wants to be with him. Idk how people like this sleep at night. I honestly don't understand how this is the same Rory from season 1/2.
All I see in the comments are like “they should be together” but I see no reasons. Logan is CHEATING on his fiancé with Rory and they are all acting like it’s ok. I don’t understand why anyone would want to get back together with someone who isn’t single and has already turned down their proposal. It seems like at this moment Rory is very desperate and lonely and goes to Logan who hasn’t even changed since we first met him on the show. So I’m going to say that Rory is meant for Jess who has helped her get on the right path and not just let her try to through her life away (ex. being able to graduate Yale and start writing a book that Rory is passionate about. I just don’t understand why anyone would like Logan because he is like a richer version of Dean who is willing to cheat on their wife/fiancé for Rory because in both causes she seemed sad and desperate. Lorelai= Rory, Luke=Jess, Christopher=Logan PERIODT
Have u ever wondered that jess is just not luke and rory is not lorelai and if u wanna give this analogy i would say LOGAN is LUKE because:- 1. He was always there for rory irrespective they were together or not unlike jess who told her to RUNAWAY from YALE. Like Chris he came to his senses latter. 2. He respected her choices. Jess forced it and said," I know u better than anyone: like Chris 3. He supported her through anything. Yes he can't give her advices like jess but he can support her whenever she needs it'd. He just has her back. He won't let her fall and be there irrespective of the consequences. 4. He RESPECTED her and treated her well. He was protective not possessive. Jess learned to respect rory very late he was come and go (just like chris). He allowed her to make mistakes and rectify them. So all in all u would say rory is rory and logan is logan but if u r to give them analogy logan is not Chris
@@scottmccall7635 I get what you’re saying but here are my points: 1. When you say he was always there for Rory I can only see that when he was he was only supporting her when he was dating Rory and probably off and on till AYITL. While they were dating he used his dads money to help support Rory while and cheating on his fiancé in the process. Logan has never done what he said he was going to do like leaving his families company to make his own only to go back to his dad and use his money and has never seemed to make his own independently. If he really loved her then why would he not marry Rory that just didn’t make any sense. And yes Jess wasn’t always with Rory and only saw her every so often but Jess knew that Rory needed space and respects her and let’s her live her life so that maybe one day she will finally realize that he was the right person. And also Jess knew that he had to change himself because he knew that Rory wouldn’t at all get back with him if he didn’t and he matured BIG TIME which takes time as well. 2. Logan really did respect her choices TOO much. When Rory dropped out of Yale a boyfriend would do is encourage her to go back because it’s the best for her. Yet Logan didn’t try at all and just thought that Rory could party and drink with him and his friends instead of going back to school and he would support her with his dads money. Jess did the right thing and told her that she should go to Yale and he only told her to runaway with him was because he wasn’t mature enough but he did when he said that she should go back. (And btw I think that Rory would have ended up way more successful if she did runaway with Jess than graduate Yale which is sad but the audience would have thought that if she didn’t graduate Yale her life would be better but it wasn’t.) Jess ALWAYS respects Rorys choices when they were good and it’s ok to not agree when they can be bad choices. 3. When you say he has her back and wouldn’t let her fall, i personally think that even with the money that Logan had Rory still couldn’t put her life together and was struggling bad. 4. Logan didn’t (in my opinion) treat her well, he only encouraged her party, yelled at her many times and slept with many other women (which I don’t if it was cheating but it was very disrespectful towards Rory). Jess really started respecting Rory when Rory dropped out of Yale and Jess came back a couple years after and to show her his book and thanked her for it. I personally think that at that point he was very respectful and didn’t try to force anything. Jess didn’t get a chance to see Rory make the mistakes that she has made that have lead her to AYITL. 4. I believe that Logan is Chris is because: - they both came from money - We’ve only seen one part of Logan and Rory and we’ve seen all of Chris and Lorelei so Logan hasn’t turned into the Chris that we know - They’ve never worked for their money - they were both in many private schools - in one of the episodes they met and got along GREAT 5. This is why Jess is Luke: - They both have waited a long time for Rory and Lorelei - Both of the couples were friends first and got to know each other before dating - they both could keep up with Lorelei and Rory -They both had amazing chemistry with them -and they are related with have similar personalities Just because they had different storylines doesn’t mean they can’t be very similar. If you’ve read all of this thanks! I’m not saying your wrong since these are fictional characters and something I think this is real life lol. I always think that other people having other opinions are fun so I can rant like this! Have a good day:)
@@scottmccall7635 Christopher knocked up Lorelai, Logan knocked up Rory. Luke helps Lorelai in the way that she needs, Jess helps Rory in the way that she needs. It's as simple as that so stop lying to yourself because everyone knows Jess didn't knock up Rory and Logan doesn't help Rory in the way that she needs.
I didn't watch the revival and didn't want to be the videos keep popping up along with the other videos. I watched Gilmore Girls from the first episode when it first was on. Where are the Gilmore Girls and what did they do to them? Ahhhh!
I don't understand how can anyone support this couple. Are we watching the same show? Or are you just seeing the parts you like and ignoring the ones you don't? These two people are cheating on their significant others FOR A YEAR. We don't even get to see them feel a tiny bit guilty. They are absolutely horrible. Logan gave "the love of his life" an ultimatum that she either marries him and follows him to where his business takes, or they break up altogether. Then ten years later, we are to assume that they still love each other, yet he is engaged to another woman and chooses his family fortune instead of Rory. Why are you people rooting for this couple?
Hahaha I completely agree. It was actually pretty disturbing that the writers didn’t have Rory or Logan show any remorse for their infidelity. And the fact that Lorelai never called her out on it either was out of character. The revival was a complete waste of time and ruined many of the characters for me.
Fr, people take cheating so lightly just cuz the couple is “made for each other”, like, obviously not if the guy is taken and they give excuses for the characters wrong doings. They’re so dense lmao.
@@badbitch8010 rory's actions are problematic (she has a boyfriend), but I don't really blame logan for this because it sounds more like an arranged marriage.
They are either people who did/would do the same or people who are now too young to understand real relationships and the consequences of such behaviour. They think everything is a movie and no one else matters, but the two people that are "in love"...
SPOILER It's too bad they don't end up together at the end. I guess the creators don't want that or else they would have written it differently. It's like they want to be together but not commit. I hope there will be another episode and they are together.
Dude I can’t put my finger on exactly what it is but Alexis just isn’t convincing as Rory anymore. Like there isn’t a second of her acting in this revival that I believe. :/
Idk man… In the original it felt like after she met Logan Rory’s character got limited. It was all about Logan from that point on. I wish the revival had continued. It felt like a real character developing opportunity for Rory.
Well, I enjoyed this revival /Reboot episodes w/original writer, Amy Palladino? The last season, 7, was written by another, I read ? That must be why I hated the characters & what they had become ? My once 2nd FAV character, Rory ( after Lane & Sooki) became a spoiled, entitled BRAT in Season 7. I stopped watching GG, thinking: it's just a Downward Spiral in the life of Rory . I was glad to see Rory & Logan reunite, but they became REAL SLIMY, cheating on their respective Signif Others??? They should be HONEST, admit they're WRONG to mislead others & just COMMIT to each other. The revival made me sad bc I though Rory & Logan's love story was unique ( small town girl tames Billionaire son- Playboy to make him propose MRG & commitment!) It seems that they've grown up to be just like every other selfish, annoying, & rather creepy ? I mean, Rory sleeps w/a " Wookie ?" I think I understand women & that made no sense to me??? I almost want the baby to be the Wookie's bc Rory & Logan have been GIVEN SOOOOO MUCH in this world,& they act so recklessly, cavaliarly...? I want RORY to desperately search for the Rookie to get some REALITY CHECKS , get to know the daddy of her baby; take some responsibility for the harder times in her life bc she's had A LOT HANDED to her . She can't handle any rough times ( job unfulfillment, no personal life ...) Logan MANNED-Up by proposing MRG to her 10 yrs ago. I want L & R to Commit & have a Happy Ending, but I'd like to see Rory WOMAN up, like Logan did ?
Rory...unconsciously ... Ur character is switching to... like... Logan's...d'risk taker...d'gambler....impulsive...needy...losing your own self confi ... & giving in to Logan's character ... wake up girl ...your mom & grandparents know best ...they've known you since birth...since you were still helpless...& help you grow & develop the character you were most admired especally by someone like Paris, other friends & family ...don't lose it Rory. Act your own character ... not someone else's ... you are amuse with.

No Logan and Rory are not a kids hun that destroy their future they are both wealthy and finished with school it doesn’t fit at all granted Logan’s dad was right she wasn’t cut out for journalism but they are just going to give her a job , or she could teach or just about anything else Get real Those connections to her mom don’t fit
I think people it is so closed mind, they had do a good agreement. It would be better to tell their couples but every relationship is a wolrd if it works for you maybe not to others, just saying
Nothing is wrong with Jess but honestly she never actually was into him as much as he was into her. She also fits really well into the upper class I could see her writing books being a teacher and going into politics she’s going to marry Logan. She does what she think she’s supposed to do she’s not Lorelei she even feels like a failure for not being cut out for journalism. She wants it all the The career ,the family, the money. Jess knows that very well he can’t provide that but Logan can. Hell at this point Tristan is more likely to be her Luke because he has money and connections. Don’t forget with her Grandparents money and her fathers she is still very wealthy even being somewhat stuck career wise I’m not saying she’s too good for him but she’s too good for him, It’s just how she was raised
What I also dislike about this part besides the very poor storyline and horrible character development, is Alexis’ acting. I feel she lost the Rory soul :-/
basically they are 'friends with benefits' or back in the GG days lol 'no strings' couple again. Logan is engaged to a french heiress but she lives in france and rory is 'dating' john(?) can't rmr his name lol but she keeps forgetting to break up with him. When they say "what stays in 'vegas', stays in vegas" it's an analogy for that when they are together, they can forget about their current relationships and just be a 'couple', but when they are not together then they're just normal friends.
You know what everybody waited to see this and it was horrible. I don't understand how you take five steps back when you're supposed to be going forward. They totally ruin these characters for all the fans Not Just some. If they were going to do this they should do better and I don't understand how the writer producers them not see the story before this horrible story. Christopher was 16 and just wasn't ready to be a father and he just allowed lorelai to do everything herself instead of making a real effort. Logan would make an effort to be a present father.
water works water works I hate you ASP for fucking up my Sophie
barb walker what exactly does "sophie" have to do with gg? is it a ship name or??
written in the stars episode reference toMasterand Commander Aubrey Ship is HMS Sophie so shippers of these 2 call their ship Sophie
never ever have I had such strong reaction to a stupid show as I do to revival I just cried again watching this makes me so heart broken
ahh thanks so much for clearing that up!! I had absolutely no idea what people were referring to. Yes!! the revival was sooo good and sooo emotional!
revival was in generalASP Indulgence in Bullshit To quote Emily Gilmore She fuck up Logan's growth arc only because she hated that she was not involved in season 7
I Love you Logan
When he walked in I was like omg
Rory is disgusting here. She's cheating with Logan just because she's too prideful to admit she wants to be with him. Idk how people like this sleep at night. I honestly don't understand how this is the same Rory from season 1/2.
I wished for more than ALL of them !!
Have u ever wondered that jess is just not luke and rory is not lorelai and if u wanna give this analogy i would say LOGAN is LUKE because:-
1. He was always there for rory irrespective they were together or not unlike jess who told her to RUNAWAY from YALE. Like Chris he came to his senses latter.
2. He respected her choices. Jess forced it and said," I know u better than anyone: like Chris
@@scottmccall7635 I get what you’re saying but here are my points:
4. I believe that Logan is Chris is because:
- they both came from money
- We’ve only seen one part of Logan and Rory and we’ve seen all of Chris and Lorelei so Logan hasn’t turned into the Chris that we know
- They’ve never worked for their money
- they were both in many private schools
- in one of the episodes they met and got along GREAT
5. This is why Jess is Luke:
- They both have waited a long time for Rory and Lorelei
- Both of the couples were friends first and got to know each other before dating
- they both could keep up with Lorelei and Rory
-They both had amazing chemistry with them
-and they are related with have similar personalities
Just because they had different storylines doesn’t mean they can’t be very similar.
Yo amo a esta pareja todos las personas co.rtemos errores
I hate Vegas... this should have been formalized by now!
SPOILER
It's too bad they don't end up together at the end. I guess the creators don't want that or else they would have written it differently. It's like they want to be together but not commit. I hope there will be another episode and they are together.
Rory ends up with the WOOKIE
Some relations are just not meant to be. Love (and sex) is (are) not enough for a happy and long marriage and maybe they realised it...
Dude I can’t put my finger on exactly what it is but Alexis just isn’t convincing as Rory anymore. Like there isn’t a second of her acting in this revival that I believe. :/
When Mitchum said "I didn't know you 2 stayed in touch" he knew if Logan and Rory are still around each other they are having an affair.
bourbon is American in UK it would be scotch not bourbon or whiskey ASP
Idk man… In the original it felt like after she met Logan Rory’s character got limited. It was all about Logan from that point on. I wish the revival had continued. It felt like a real character developing opportunity for Rory.
Rory has a habit of being the other woman. Fatherless behavior perhaps?
Tragic really
I need more
Damn they should be together already!
She lost it before, it won't be the first time...She always wants what she cannot (fully) get.
@@potocatepetl not really her major flaw is that she doesn’t accept help from her connections Logan could get her a job on a news paper and she doesn’t even accept the cabin to write the book and that was just because Logan loves her she sees it as charity her mom really messed her up.
I would like to know where I can see the complete swimming upstream movie but I can't find where to see it, your video was very good
they look like a couple
y'all logan is rory's christopher if she gets pregnant w logan's baby.. and then jess is rory's luke!!
😍 love them
he loves her so much.
1:35 I need a second 😭
whew .. watching in ouchee pinchess ... why it has to be this way ... not free ... settling for less ... uh oh whew 😢😴💤
i want more
Damn.Jess was right. This is not the Rory we know at heart 😔
So they did have n affair ...… Cause Logan was dating someone else and she crashed at his place when she's not there
Good scene
I think people it is so closed mind, they had do a good agreement. It would be better to tell their couples but every relationship is a wolrd if it works for you maybe not to others, just saying
It might work for them, but I doubt it would work for their partners if they knew. They are very selfish and dishonest.
Rory le hizo mucho daño al no corresponderlo
I don't get writers- they would be a great couple/marriage
All yours
alguien me puede explicar q paso con ellos ??
AGGHHHH her voice grew up and its not so 2000's feeling anymore:(((
Why not Jess!?! Why do we keep bringing logan back ugh!!
How did gg get curly hair did she get a perm and why does she have a kinda British accent
Lei Rosario gg was mentioned. She never made an appearance.
The girl in this video is Paris' daughter.
What I also dislike about this part besides the very poor storyline and horrible character development, is Alexis’ acting. I feel she lost the Rory soul :-/
Wait what why are they back didn't he leave her
basically they are 'friends with benefits' or back in the GG days lol 'no strings' couple again.
Poor Paul (that's his name). He's so forgettable.
Amy's Indulgence in Bullshit That's what
Whoa… when did Rory decide to be a worthless side piece???
😍
You know what everybody waited to see this and it was horrible. I don't understand how you take five steps back when you're supposed to be going forward. They totally ruin these characters for all the fans Not Just some. If they were going to do this they should do better and I don't understand how the writer producers them not see the story before this horrible story. Understand that they were upset but this is horrible. They do not have the same connection chimney that we all knew and loved. That made us fall in love with these characters. I did not see them as Emily or any similarities to other characters in the store. I saw a bunch of b*******.
yikes
Shes a horrible actresses 🤦🏼♀️
