tanvir islam Kages Fireball game isn’t a good as the other Shotos but both versions do lead to some sick combos that allow great damage potential. His fireballs work well with VT1 and DPs work well with VT2. And while he’s not the best character he does have ridiculous aggressive pressure.

Fantastic match thought it would be unfair to say Teru threw it. That would be like saying Tokido threw his FT10 match against Daigo because of the way he got owned and choice of VT2 instead of his regular VT1 despite months of preparation from both players, which is likewise untrue. Technically, I still consider Ryu the best xter in the game with his fundamental skill set and under the right set of thumbs is still a formidable opponent. And this is Sasori we're talking about, so give credit where its due. You could see he was catching on to Teru's use of the counter parry and it really showed in the last match. But seriously, that Back n forth defensive play in the second set intense! I live for matches like these.
Teru just smashed Daigo. But for some reason I knew he would lose to Sasori. It might sound strange but I think Ryu is better equipped to fight Kage than Guile is.
Kage's pressure game is hard counter to Guile. His V-skill makes it easier to get in. Ryu's pressure game sucks, and his neutral gets smashed by Guile with the greatest of ease.
@@ChimaChindaDev its possible but also can be that Daigo still don't know well the match up, Teru I think defeated Bonchan as well, and it looked like Bonchan didn't knew what to do, Sasori is a Ryu player and probably have a Kage as well and maybe he knew the match up better, still I think Teru is very strong, I just hope not be just strong online like many and in Tournaments cracks.
@@dooh well give me an example. From what ive seen the same number of hits have the same down scaling for every character. Also the enemy being lower on life can downscale damage as well. That's why doing a super on a full health enemy does way more damage than on an enemy @40% life. But again those are gamewide mechanics. Apply to all characters the same.
Daigo Ryu style have always been heavy in the Fireball game, he is well know for that, and sadly even with the buffs Ryus Fireball game in SFV is not strong, not like Guile or Akuma, Sasori just have a better understanding of Ryu in SFV than Daigo.

Both players dropped combos, miss punish etc. But Teru did OK, Ryu is just a bad matchup for short arm Kage despite some character unfamiliarity from Sasori's side.

12 if i recall
