Here’s an idea, bring it back to Disneyland California Adventure, the theater where it used to reside is still there and this gives people the chance to still experience the attraction without completely removing it
Yeah, but back then when this attraction was at DCA they had to shrink it and the screen needs to be replaced and they must make new statler and Waldorf animatronics plus bean bunny
If they were to reopen it back, it would possibly be that Disney would just implement the old animatronics from Florida to Cali and reprogram the animatronics and add new show features for better water flow, and bubbles! And I'm just going to assume either they will just use the yellow glasses, or bring their purple glasses back! It would be a lot of work to bring it back, but idk if Disney wants to either return the ride, or they will flat out sell merch to get your money because Disney sometimes doesn't care about what we want...
27:28 Along with Jim Henson, Wayne Allwine would also be immortalized here as Mickey. His voice as the mouse was finally replaced in the christmas parade so this would be one of the last remnants of it in the parks
I'm a Disneyland Cast Member. My fiancee loves the Muppets even more than I do so we're going to fly out to Disney world so he can experience Muppet Vision himself just once. Hell, I wouldn't mind watching it the whole day with him. As a quick pre-honeymoon present. He never got to see it here in California.
I remember this as a kid. I wasn't very old, almost 30 years ago, and barely remember the trip, but it's one of my best memories of Disney and has stuck with me ever since.
They should make a DVD or Blue-Ray of Muppet Vision 3D with Muppet Vision 3D glasses, but, we rather have it relocated to a permanent location in California Adventure or an another disney park
This hurts. I love this attraction so much. I hope they give this historic attraction a new, deserving home. And though having a ride will be fun, I’m crossing my fingers that they will realize they’re also taking away a restaurant, restrooms and courtyard and themed store. Please do right by the Muppet fans, Disney!
Disney should be ashamed of themselves for closing this down! Jim Henson literally worked himself to death creating this, they should leave it alone, especially since they don't seem eager to do anything else with the Muppets period!
Disney replacing this with a Monster Inc is disgusting, this piece of show being Jim Henson's last ever project being put down over a stupid replacement. I like Monster Inc. it's a great movie, but this great piece being replaced with something we already have is terrible. Disney doesn't know what to do with the Muppets, but replacing a piece of Muppet history is a terrible move. I know we're getting the Rock N' Rollercoaster, but that is nothing compared to this.
Agreed! Saddened to think they don’t think we’ll realize we’re losing a full Muppets themed area with historic show, and giving us a rebrand on an existing ride. It’s so disappointing.
RIP this great show. I remember going to see this with my friends on a marching band trip. So sad to see it go. I feel like the purpose of Hollywood Studios has been lost by modern corporate Disney. Really the Muppet property in general has been neglected these past few years.
I disagree. They have made MANY horrendous decisions in a SHORT time. Since 2017 they removed The Great Movie Ride and Splash Mountain, the staple of both of their parks, and unnecessarily censored and sanitized multiple legacy attractions. I could get into the whole EPCOT trainwreck, but there is not enough time in the day...
Muppets most wanted was fine enough. But I think we can also chalk it up to project stardust. Can’t have seats anymore, gotta keep people walking so they can get in and out
The building itself is probably gonna stay/be repurchased, it's just the Muppet theming that's going for good. Also I don't remember The Great Muppet Caper being a flop...
Disney imaginerings please, I want the Monsters Inc. Land but please put inside the Animation courtyard insted of the muppets area, I like this 3d show and it will be sad to see go away forever like bean Rabbit, so if you read this, please litsen What I propouse 😢

@@KermitKong24 but they must remove the Mickey’s Philharmagic Show and restore the ride
They can use the Hollywood back lot, which is a dead space and then turn that into a Muppets land with Muppet vision 3-D coming back.

It's a shame we're losing Wayne Allwine's Mickey. He will always be the best voice actor to voice Mickey.
Honestly Bret and Wayne are my 2 favorite mickey voices so from my Wayne stand point that sucks too.

Better do it soon. Their closing it for good soon.
@hip-hoplegend9882 exactly. Why do you think we're going?
It was cool in California while it lasted then Marvel took over. Disney’s California Adventure don’t even look and feel the same no more.
Better hurry. It may be now or never.
@@mrsfitzherbertThat is because they were gonna use the Muppets to take over that Aerosmith roller coaster

Thank you for including the extended queue. Such great details and creativity. Thank you for documenting
I am so heartbroken and devastated.
I remembered that attraction 11 years ago.

What a beautiful video !💫
RIP MUPPETVISION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WISH MONSTERS INC WAS GOING TO REPLACE ANIMATION COURTYARD INSTEAD!
SAD TO SEE MUPPETVISION GO! :(
I wish Disney would move this to another area

10:50 this is the best part of the whole preshow, and it’s gonna be one of the things I will the most if it closes and doesn’t open up somewhere else
Hate that they are getting rid of this gem. I wish they could find a place for this somewhere else in WDW. 😞😭
They could’ve just make the Monsters Inc area somewhere else in the park, if possible.
At least Disney is giving them a new home in Rock N’ Rollercoaster.
they could have put monsters inc in launch bay I dont even know what thats used for
Office space

Giving the RnR a cheap retheme is a disgrace to both the Muppets and Aerosmith.
@@goodoldfashionedangelAerosmith’s legacy is tainted enough. They didn’t need Disney’s help.
@@Gaugzilla well yeah, but that doesn't make what Disney is doing any less okay.
16:16 wow Steve really did sound like Jim here
This isn’t Steve. This was the last muppet project Jim was involved in
At this point, the muppets are better off owned by a different company.
Disney might as well give it back to Jim Henson’s son (Brian Henson) and the rest of Jim’s family.

This is probably the worst decision that Disney made in a long time! It will be missed :(

Way to get rid of a walk on, escape from the heat, banger of an attraction for a 15 year old franchise, whos 2nd movie was a flop.
