As a die hard UK fan, it was nice having Coach Pitino. He left us and went on, he made some big mistakes, but I have respect for him. His methods are proven. He is fiery , and he strives to have a winning team on the court. Undoubtedly one of the living legends. Maybe the best Xs and Os coaches to ever lead a team. He has brought life to so many programs. A ton of UK fans say they’d love to take him back. I know that will never happen. I was hoping UK didn’t draw Iona for the first match up. They will be as dangerous as anyone come that first game. They may get knocked out by UConn. But if they don’t, and they get their feel, watch out!!

Also I'm willing to bet Louisville played St. John's on campus when they were still in The Big East. Within the last 30 years. Also loved how he almost pulled a muscle noting Kentucky was 17-1 in conference play 25 years ago. Same old used car salesman Slick Rick.
Won championships being a used car salesman. Too many issues at Louisville. Deserved to be fired. Louisville handling everything poorly is the reason for the program demise. Would be cool to see him stay at Iona, but most humans want as much money and fame as possible.
