It is worth mentioning that his enigmatic paintings were also considered as objects for meditation and even believed to have therapeutic properties. Indeed, if you spend some time looking at his paintings, it gives you a feeling of calmness and clears the mind of negative thoughts.

Thank you for this video! I visited NYC last week with my kids and, inspired by this video, I took them (8 and 10) to the Nicholas Roerich museum, and it was a truly stunning experience. My kids especially liked Star of the Hero with the purple geodes in front. I sat looking at Mother of the World and other paintings for a long time. I am so grateful for you highlighting this museum and artist, we need more awe and wonder in the world.

Your videos in art Museums are a pleasure. Others who take a camera into museums are unwatchable, the camera work is unprofessional and it zooms around, usually showing bits n pieces, parts of any given painting. There is usually maybe one SECOND that viewer can see a whole entire painting. Literally makes me dizzy, nasesous. Disappointed, I can not watch. No thought is given to recreating experience of viewing art in a museum. Your work is thoughtful and well informed. Thanks
