Again: the hollow feeling of cheating has to be so EMBARASSING in a public tournament. I know cheaters feel invincible right now, that's what is dropping skin prices, player involvement, and general morale in the game.
I decided to cheat for a day to see what it was like. There are certainly funny/entertaining aspects to it but the other aspects it takes away from makes it pretty unrewarding. I don't see how people only play with cheats seems boring.
We need more and more creators doing this and bringing attention to this topic. Honest teams might be getting kicked out due to these fools who cheat and its absolutely unfair. Valve is making millions from the game, the least that they can do is preserve integrity of the sport atleast at the pro level

Spraying through a wall isn't the sus part. That was a non public custom aim program/script. Look it on slow motion and you see it better how his crosshair soft toggles to the head on both times when it hits the enemy leg. This kind of sharp ~30 degree direction change in mid motion is not something any pro player could/would do. If you are going to place crosshair where enemy head was you would do it on a straight line. Also look how his crosshair is warping from pixel to pixel to adjust for every individual shot during the spray, which is obviously hitting a smaller area than what it should. I counted around 10 head shots in that spray but in a typical cs fashion only some got registered.
Them saying cheating is "out of control" is an open admission of their failure to do as promised. I think legally that would be enough to void any contract made and that money needs chasing
Just brought a friend to cs today and told him he should buy prime so we dont have to play cheaters, we played literally one game and the whole team had walls and aimbot admittidly so we had to throw our competitive match to get it over with. Not the best experience for a new cs player
It's essentially teaching new AND experienced players you HAVE to cheat to get ahead. The future is looking BLEAK for for entirety of the CS community. 🤦♂️
Experience is not important. The important thing is that you buy boxes and stickers, that is the true experience. People come into CS confused, it's not a shooting game, it's a casino.
Started playing about 3 years ago. I didnt want to pay the 20€ for prime and leveled up by playing. There were cheaters in 90% of the games. Absolutely unplayable. Played only gun game etc from there on till I got prime

Honestly we need people with extreme knowledge of cheats to be staff at lans so that way if anything is suspicious they can check all the common/uncommon ways of hiding cheats and hopefully catch even the most hidden cheaters. Would be cool, like white hat hackers in a way

@deagle2yadome696 everyone gets prime so it's pointless and trustfactor currently has no effect. Also a big reason why everyone complains about cheaters as of recently because all the cheaters where previously queued together in low trustfactor lobby's but now they are spread everywhere.

This is the reason why I quit playing CS2. On first days I was so happy to play and got 22k Premier. Later on more and more people started cheating, obviously cheating. I just deleted the game 2 months ago. I have 4k hours in CS:GO and truly love the game, but this is crazy.
In crossfire the only way to deal with cheaters for free and on demand, is to play Knife mode only, even if they can pixel trace they have to get near you to do anything, and all melee can one hit. Also, the game is a bit P2W so genuine players still have the advantage and more as their account progresses which cheaters cannot cause they're banned sooner or later.
Thank you once more for putting Pressure on Valve like that. The Community really has to gather up and agree upon a Deadline to boycott the game. It has been too long, our nerves should'nt be stressed in our freetime.
To me, this only really goes to show that it is 100% impossible for an anti-cheat software, running on the same computer as the game, to stop people from cheating. Cheater detection has to happen based on the actions they take in-game.
I was loyal to this game for 8+ years and just recently stopped playing… Its so painful to see this beautiful game die. Valve doesn’t give a flying fuck about their games. Look what happened to TF2.
I downloaded all my CS2 demos. I have not downloaded as many CSGO demos as I wanted over the years. Only 300 out of the of 1000 games I played, but out of the 400+ demos, most of them are CSGO. There are 137 banned players, all of them from CSGO so far. That is sad because it means CSGO had a better VAC system than CS2, and it feels that way when playing too.
my last matches on 18-19k elo felt like playing 2014 major finals against the best and ever beste players existed in the whole tournament ........... whenever i saw a pixel of them i had instantly headshot while they peaked around a corner ......... so when i reach 20k i m sure im ready for the iem finals free agent dm open

I played with a couple kids who were cheating and finally got outed. When asked about it they literally defend it and say how good they are and that its how they use the cheat not the fact they are cheating. They are just dilusional asshats.

He just kept turning aim up until he was prefiring through the corners of the walls. 110 million € was made just on sticker capsules from Paris Major. Yet Copenhagen will have the same 1.25 mil prize pool. They earn around 50 million from case unboxings every single month, not counting 15% market fee. We have a ''new'' game for nearly half a year now, we got ZERO content, the anti cheat sucks, They just simply don't care about this game like srsly this is just sad..
Man, I feel the same. So sad to see the game that has accompanied my life for so long is overrun by cheaters. By that I mean that without micro transactions the one time $15.00 fee would not profitably sustain their overhead, however, the casino they've built is worth subsidizing the game, and of course you are going to put less effort into the aspect of your business that makes the least amount of money (or costs money). However, this is the achilles heel of capitalism and will ultimately destroy the product if profit is main focus. The incentives are always profit, not the satisfaction of your customer. Capitalism and satisfaction don't go well together in the same sentence. This is another reason that much effort doesn't get put into server side anti cheat. Their data center costs are likely in the tens of millions per month and any compute you add only increases that costs. For them to improve the state of cheating in the game would require them to sacrifice their bottom line. Its pretty sad in Valves case considering they are a private company and are fiduciarily bound by any promise to any shareholders. Just greed. I personally don't think they are doing much of anything. I spent 20 games cheating with a free esp on an alt account and made sure I was obvious enough to get reported by everyone and probably even my team and never got banned. You'd think they atleast be able to detect the guy getting 40 kills 20 games in a row as I doubt any legit player can do that.

Reports do fuckall, they're more likely to get an automated griefing temp ban than actually get banned for cheating. Had a fucking comically blatant spinbotter in a game about 2 weeks ago. Literally admitted in game that he was boosting the account to sell it. Sent his profile to everyone on my friends list to report, prob 30 people reported him and he's STILL not banned. Checking his csstats shows it's an obviously hacked account that went from 3k to 20k in a week, dropping 40 kills a game. The game is a total joke right now.
In the past 2 weeks, I've reported and kept track of every cheater I ended up against in MM (I double check and watch the demos) and not a single one has been banned. 20+ that I was 100% certain of.

I still miss the times when my clan was top3 for 3 years in clanbase finland. If enemy team had sus player we could get their demo and report if the sus was real. There was no cheating at all at the higher levels. About 2003. By disabling overwatch valve made huge mistake.
The CB years were better but there was still a lot of cheating. Some people were so good at hiding it, it took years to catch them, and often they'd just return with a bought account and a new name once banned.

Some of the people disqualified were only disqualified on demo review and not even because the anti-cheat detected them. Which i think should only be done when it is 100% obvious. When Olof for example says someone is SUS he deliberately does not say that they are cheating because you cant be sure just from a few suspicious clips. If its not really obvious. And then its a bit unfair if they get disqualified or banned when they are actually legit but just have a very weird playstyle or lucky timing. The Lan tournament needs clean Pcs with no internet access and clean hardware (provided by the TO) so no player brings their own equipment. Then they only need to worry about player configs and it should be virtually impossible to cheat. Even once we get a working anti cheat this should happen at most lan events… it is known that you can have cheats on your hardware so the tournament should provide the hardware and players shouldnt be able to bring their own. Might need a little bit more organization so everyone gets their favourite mouse but should be doable i think.

Just quit playing premier for good few days ago because of the constant cheaters and the shitty unbalanced elo system that gives you +100/-500 matches all day (possibly because of lack of players because again: cheaters). I've been playing cs since like 2006 and this is probably the worst state of the game I've experienced.
I watched your and some other people videos back in the day about hardware cheats and how pros used "wallhack" but with sounds that are playing in their headphones to "see" where people are. Even shroud was doing that and his excuse was "well we were listening to the crowd sounds and how they react"
it's good that they are banned for cheating, but on my account I got game banned for playing poorly on my trash PC. 36 days has passed since the ban and still not unbanned. Steam support doesn't response about it. Maybe you guys here can help me.

I can't even play this game anymore. I'm dogshit at the game, straight up, but I've seen so many cheaters, even in fucking casual, that I can't tell when I'm losing cuz I'm bad (I DO have good days occasionally) or losing because someone is cheating. Cheating was a big problem already in csgo every time i pointed the fact out I was met with Im a noob there are no cheaters, Then the winds turned and now all of a sudden there are cheaters. I been playing cs daily since 2004 and retired 2019 due to the cheating got out of hands. It's sad. Today I am infact a noob. and yes it existed on pro levels back then aswell everyone was just to ignorant to see it. Even in 1.6 playing playzeek/spelarenan we in the top 10 met alot of cheaters and struggled to maintain our positions. I'm glad people finally understand so the backlash can improve the anticheat in online gaming letting cs live on further.

The pros are being helped to cheat by Valve. They banned every pro that hadn't sold skins some years ago, and all pros basically moved their whole inventory to other accounts XD

True, but lets not act like this is a CS2 only problem. People have been caught out cheating in CS qualifiers as far back as 2017. CS2 has a cheating problem way worse than CSGO's, but counterstrike has historically struggled with cheaters.

I literally just got off of CS2 and I had 2 cheaters on my own team. IT'S SO BAD BRO LMFAO it's LAUGHABLE. The only way to play this game is something like FaceIt. I'm at a loss for words, I feel like I've never seen the cheaters be this obvious before.

What is really amazing is that Valve opted to use another anti-cheat... shows how much faith the put in VACLive.
Vac is most likely enabled on these servers. Also I dont think Valve makes the decision about which ac is used on the qualifiers.

He just kept turning aim up until he was prefiring through the corners of the walls. 110 million € was made just on sticker capsules from Paris Major. Yet Copenhagen will have the same 1.25 mil prize pool. They earn around 50 million from case unboxings every single month, not counting 15% market fee. We have a ''new'' game for nearly half a year now, we got ZERO content, the anti cheat sucks, They just simply don't care about this game like srsly this is just sad..
Man, I feel the same. So sad to see the game that has accompanied my life for so long is overrun by cheaters. And it makes me angry that Valve who makes millions every month from this game is either not willing or too incompetent to do anything against cheating. @@nikolas7666 Maybe if people would stop buying cases they'd listen. Afterall, CS is just a casino where matchmaking is their loss leader. By that I mean that without micro transactions the one time $15.00 fee would not profitably sustain their overhead, however, the casino they've built is worth subsidizing the game, and of course you are going to put less effort into the aspect of your business that makes the least amount of money (or costs money). However, this is the achilles heel of capitalism and will ultimately destroy the product if profit is main focus. The incentives are always profit, not the satisfaction of your customer. Capitalism and satisfaction don't go well together in the same sentence.
This is another reason that much effort doesn't get put into server side anti cheat. Their data center costs are likely in the tens of millions per month and any compute you add only increases that costs. For them to improve the state of cheating in the game would require them to sacrifice their bottom line. Its pretty sad in Valves case considering they are a private company and are fiduciarily bound by any promise to any shareholders. Just greed.
I personally don't think they are doing much of anything. I spent 20 games cheating with a free esp on an alt account and made sure I was obvious enough to get reported by everyone and probably even my team and never got banned. You'd think they atleast be able to detect the guy getting 40 kills 20 games in a row as I doubt any legit player can do that.

But yes, the lack of content makes it a bit boring, I enjoyed Danger zone a lot.CS2 has some potential, but Valve is super slow so it may take 1-2 years till we will have a proper game again.

Reports do fuckall, they're more likely to get an automated griefing temp ban than actually get banned for cheating. Had a fucking comically blatant spinbotter in a game about 2 weeks ago. Literally admitted in game that he was boosting the account to sell it. Sent his profile to everyone on my friends list to report, prob 30 people reported him and he's STILL not banned. Checking his csstats shows it's an obviously hacked account that went from 3k to 20k in a week, dropping 40 kills a game. The game is a total joke right now.

In the past 2 weeks, I've reported and kept track of every cheater I ended up against in MM (I double check and watch the demos) and not a single one has been banned. 20+ that I was 100% certain of.

I still miss the times when my clan was top3 for 3 years in clanbase finland. If enemy team had sus player we could get their demo and report if the sus was real. There was no cheating at all at the higher levels. About 2003.

The CB years were better but there was still a lot of cheating. Some people were so good at hiding it, it took years to catch them, and often they'd just return with a bought account and a new name once banned.

Some of the people disqualified were only disqualified on demo review and not even because the anti-cheat detected them. Which i think should only be done when it is 100% obvious. When Olof for example says someone is SUS he deliberately does not say that they are cheating because you cant be sure just from a few suspicious clips. If its not really obvious. And then its a bit unfair if they get disqualified or banned when they are actually legit but just have a very weird playstyle or lucky timing.
The Lan tournament needs clean Pcs with no internet access and clean hardware (provided by the TO) so no player brings their own equipment. Then they only need to worry about player configs and it should be virtually impossible to cheat. Even once we get a working anti cheat this should happen at most lan events… it is known that you can have cheats on your hardware so the tournament should provide the hardware and players shouldnt be able to bring their own. Might need a little bit more organization so everyone gets their favourite mouse but should be doable i think.

Just quit playing premier for good few days ago because of the constant cheaters and the shitty unbalanced elo system that gives you +100/-500 matches all day (possibly because of lack of players because again: cheaters). I've been playing cs since like 2006 and this is probably the worst state of the game I've experienced.
I watched your and some other people videos back in the day about hardware cheats and how pros used "wallhack" but with sounds that are playing in their headphones to "see" where people are. Even shroud was doing that and his excuse was "well we were listening to the crowd sounds and how they react"

In Havu's case there was sound cue. You can hear it from replay they got.

I'm dogshit at the game, straight up, but I've seen so many cheaters, even in fucking casual, that I can't tell when I'm losing cuz I'm bad (I DO have good days occasionally) or losing because someone is cheating. Cheating was a big problem already in csgo every time i pointed the fact out I was met with Im a noob there are no cheaters, Then the winds turned and now all of a sudden there are cheaters. Even in 1.6 playing playzeek/spelarenan we in the top 10 met alot of cheaters and struggled to maintain our positions.

True, but lets not act like this is a CS2 only problem. People have been caught out cheating in CS qualifiers as far back as 2017. CS2 has a cheating problem way worse than CSGO's, but counterstrike has historically struggled with cheaters.
