    If I ever leave you baby, you can say I told you so
    And if I ever hurt you, I hurt myself as well
    Now, is that any way for a man to carry on?
    Do you think I want my loved one gone?
    Said I love you
    More than you'll ever know
    More than you'll ever know
    Well, I wasn't making too much money
    You know where my paycheck went
    I brought it all home to you baby
    I never spent one red cent
    Now, is that any way for a man to carry on?
    Do you think I want my loved one gone?
    Said I love you
    More than you'll ever know
    More than you'll ever know
    Now I'm not trying to be
    Towards any kind of man
    I'm just trying to be somebody
    That you can love, trust and understand
    I know, I know, I know I can be
    A part of you no one else could see
    But I got to hear you say
    I'll got to hear you say
    It's alright
    I'm only flesh and blood
    But I can be anything that you demand
    I can be king of everything
    Or just a tiny grain of sand
    Now, is that anyway for a man to carry on?
    Do you think I want my loved one gone?
    Said I love you
    More than you'll ever know
    Oh
    I no want nobody else
    I no need nobody else
    I love ya
    More than you'll ever know

    Este tema es original de Al Cooper. Compuesto en el año 68, para Blood, Sweat & Tears y el titulo del disco es "Child is father to the man". Donny Hathaway la interpreta en el año 73. en el disco "Extension of a man". Saludos desde Venezuela !!

    Since no one wants to link back to this backing track, here are some nice covers of this song - most of them as good as Winehouse.

    good job guy! can you tell me the rythm of the song? this is "ternaire" but in 3/4, 3/3? and the bpm? I have to learn this for a show but I can't find those informations ::

    • @ben2931
      @ben2931  10 лет назад

      110bpm in 6/3 but when I put it in the machine, it was 24 beats (4 bars) by 4.

    • @ben2931
      @ben2931  10 лет назад

      To get the machine to play it right, I used 6/3 for the setting over 4 bars. I believe it is 6/8.

    How did you manage to completely remove the vocals?!

    • @ben2931
      @ben2931  7 лет назад +5

      I recreated the drums with a sampled drum kit, played the bass line with a bass, and supplanted the keyboard with an electric guitar. The bits with the crowd are mixed in.

      Dan DeLyon What's the name of the instrument that is used in the very beginning? Right when music starts. Thanks in advance! :D

    • @ben2931
      @ben2931  6 лет назад

      That's the original keyboard from Amy's recording. It's a synthesizer using a Fender Rhodes soundbank.

  • @ben2931
    @ben2931  11 лет назад

    Timing is by a machine except for the chorus. The original timing is WAY off.
