I really like your channel! I primarily work with Heathkit Hero robots and presently am restoring a Hero Jr. Awesome build on the Inmoove! 4000 hours 😮 WOW!👍👍👍👍
+Thomas M The head looks like it is made of denser a material then others I seen or is it painted. looks like someone took the extra time to clean up the edges and align the parts to make it look photo ready.
+Robert Swift Judging from those ears and it's head movement I take it that that robot has directional stereo hearing. It seems to be picking up an echos of the ceiling.
How much did it cost to print and buy the parts to put him together? How many hours did it take? Also how can I make his hands water proof enough for him to wash my dishes?
About $3000 plus a $2500 printer. More than 5000 hours. Dishes? 1. You would need to increase his arm and hand strength by about 4 times. 2. You would need high end motors. 3. You would need to train him on what each dish, fork, cup, etc. is. 4. You would need to teach him how to pick up, hold, wash, and put down each thing. 5. You would need to teach him how to determine when something is clean. Making him water proof is the least of your worries. A cheap pair of rubber gloves would probably be good enough. --Thomas
@@DIYRobotGirl But the robot will also be able to do the laundry, make the bed and clean the bathroom. Also there is no room for a dishwasher in my house.
Hello! My name is Brandon. I am the CEO and Founder of Exovolve. A company that specializes in Exosuits. I am reaching out to you today because I have an oppertunity. I have been searching far and wide to find InMoov builders. Sadly, most have quite and abandoned their InMoov projects. We are looking for someone who would like their InMoov featured on a television show. The episode will be featuring amazing DIY projects mostly pertaining to gadgets and inventions. If you are interested, or know of another InMoov builder who may be, please do not hesitate to get back to us and I will go into further detail. Thank you for your time, and we look forward to hearing from you! Regards, Brandon Thompson CEO/Founder Exovolve

Not yet.
Hey, awesome project! What filament was used, and which print settings were used? It looks shiny!
It looks like the surface was sanded and covered with an acrylic coat or it could have been resin printed.
Yeah, that might be it. Thank you!
I don’t remember. Sorry.
Gael would be proud of Alan.
looks better then some of the other ones I've seen.

The head has been filled, sanded, and painted.
There are no sensors yet.
+My Perspective sorry to say, it has no hearing. Not yet anyway. Just object recognition/classification.
Looks nice👀👌
Thanks 😋

what printer did you use?
a custom made printer
How much were all the parts, not including 3d printed ones?
About $2000 USD.
The motors were high-end and very expensive.
Yeah, that's what sucks..The Poppy motors and parts are about $10K total
Less than $10,000.
@@Robots-and-androids Nice ballpark figure! :) I should have asked, which electronic parts were the most expensive?
extremely smooth for 3D print out....you must have some exquisite 3D printer.
Yes it is. Yes Alan does.
is that real response?
is what?
Well done by just using 3D printers! Respect for least its 3D made xbox dual camera tracker. nice work
I'll tell Alan.
what do you use for the stand?1
a pole and an office chair base.
Hanzhen harmonic drive gear , strain wave reducer, robot joint , over 30 years experience
OK.
