I started making bannok after watching Chuck Porter and Justin Barbour,,so easy a delicious. Glad to see uncle Mel out enjoying the day, looks like he's cut a tree or two in his day. Your pup always seems to have a smile, especially driving the Ski-doo!

Mel is getting up there in age. It only seems like yesterday that me and a friend from Hampton was passing by his cabin on snowmobile and stopped in there. Must have been 2009ish I believe. I believe they knew each other from playing music.....not %100 sure.Great video Ashley!

Happy Belated Birthday to Uncle Mel, Ashley I'm so happy you got your channel going, wonderful adventures and content. Nothing better than outdoor adventures in NL. We are so lucky to have this wilderness right out our back door. I have to teach tomorrow afternoon but I'll be heading into the hills after supper you can be sure. Tomorrow will be a evening of snowshoeing in the hills.
Great video Ashley :) So heart warming to see you out with your Uncle, I lost my Dad a year ago we made many of those trips until he was 85, He past at 89, We just had a remembrance wiener roast last sun, that fresh air will keep Uncle Mel living that dream :))) God Bless :
i enjoyed your video , ashley i been trapping for 40 years with furbears and rabbits i always set my 2 lead sticks in a tent like with the sticks in a V shape because u will direct the rabbits head into the snare u r really messing with his brain more catches no snares pull to
