Take it from somebody who is self taught outside of school, without your math teacher at least exposing you to the material, this likely wouldn't be as easy to follow. Videos like this work best as a supplement to other resources rather than a replacement. In my case, in place of a teacher and a formal education, I need to consult multiple resources on the same subject to ensure I have a proper grasp of it and there are no gaps in my knowledge.
I do agree that it's harder for some people to learn having a teacher explain something to them. My problem in a school setting was many teachers simply tell you how math works, but not why it works. By learning the why, I can gain a much more intuitive understanding, rather than just memorizing seemingly arbitrary facts and concepts.

I can tell that you do math in your head the same way that I do. I haven't run into a lot of people that do things this way. The grouping thing, I mean. For the quick mental stuff. I've been doing it since I was really young. Pretty cool, man.

@@HABHBX @Van’dola Smerge whatever number the variable is equivalent to is where you start
      For example:
If i=3 (4 will be above sigma) you will calculate all values from 3 to 4.
So if we were given 7i+5
      We would do (7(3)+5)+(7(4)+5)
Then we would add them together to get the answer of 59

Summation formulas and sigma notation were some of the most challenging topics for me in calculus. I found it helpful to use online tools that provided step-by-step breakdowns of problems. SolutionInn’s AI study tool was particularly useful for clearing up the confusion and guiding me through complex summations. It made a big difference in how I understood and solved these types of problems
