The heel is slightly higher, little less padding. Heels were made higher to lock your foot in more and keep it from slipping out. As well the rubber outsole besides the gloss finish, it’s higher for better grip. The pattern was made bigger for the same reason. Also there’s a sort of plate on the bottom sole so instead of it being flexible when having in hand and trying to bend in half you can’t. Pop Cush no different just slimmed by the slightest.

The last classic style I tried to skate were Era’s and they always hurt my foot because the inner area of the shoe wasn’t tall enough and the upper pushed down hard on the bridge of my foot. i dont like the shiny foxing, i have mid skool anaheim, the sole getting yellowing so easy, and that make the white diffrent with the jazz stripe, make it looks ugly. just my opinion

I ordered some pro customs right before they did the rebranding but the i returned them so I could get a different size, but now I can't get the pro model anymore and these are my option and they look weird with the checker tag.
Lot of blisters in heels..reconstruction the heel or many will be disappointed.. it seems like a soccer shoe ..i mean you wear it only in skating.. then you have to wear an o comfort sleep on to avoid blisters..😢

You forgot to mention the heel stiffner in the sole, its like a flat piece of plastic within the sole to add more hold so it doesn't get too floppy

the heel height was an issue with the authentic pros. they fixed it with the skate classic authentics

If you wanna know how well they hold up, they're decent enough. Mine last 2 months and a half and I skate daily. Mostly basic tricks and gaps.
