Sorry, but if I didn’t have kids, I’d rather go to Italy or Greece or some white, sandy beach in Mexico. I just don’t get Disney World as a romantic get away for two 🤷♂️
We loved the Riviera! And one time we took the Skyliner to EPCOT and saw France at sunset--it was magical! You can also watch fireworks from Topolino's terrace (I think you can show your receipt if your dinner isn't timed during fireworks, but I would confirm). The only downside is that the Riviera doesn't have a spa. It is the perfect resort for a spa but doesn't have one.
I recently did a trip hitting all 4 parks in 3 days. My friend and I rope dropped Animal Kingdom them hopped to Epcot in the afternoon. Hollywood studios was all day on day 2 and Magic Kingdom was all day on day 3. We rope dropped and stayed until after close. It was fast paced but oh so fun. I went without my kiddos which was helpful as well :)
Do sit downs for lunch. You need an hour off your feet if you’re hitting them day after day. Plus, it’s the longest wait times anyway so you’re not missing much. You can def do all you want still if you’re using genie + and know how to rope drop. Also, don’t rope drop where everyone is going. So for instance, never rope drop 7dwarfs imo. Instead you could probably get first on one or two other rides. You won’t be first to the one everyone is trying to rope drop unless you’re lucky. When everyone zigs you zag.
my family is doing a three day trip December 23-25th, leaving the resort the 26th! This is very helpful!! We are planning on doing Epcot, Magix Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios as those are our favorite parks! We are a big Epcot family!
I desperately suggest not doing this, and planning a 4th day (after day 2 of this itinerary) to sit around at the hotel and chill. If you're set on 3 days, start walking 5 miles a day for a few weeks ahead of time.
Three days is way too short, but if that’s all the time I had, I would go to magic and Epcot. On our eight day trips, our flight is usually very early in the morning. Our return flight is in the evening to maximize our time.
I would love to know your 8 day itinerary. We just did 8 days: 1) Arrival Day + Disney Springs 2) Hollywood 3) Epcot 4) Animal 5) Resort 6) Magic 7) Hopped through all 4 parks 8) Departure Day
I'm so glad for this 3 day video!! We go every year, but only for 3 days at a time. We have always bought park hoppers, so this is a very interesting option!! Thank you 😊
We did 3 rope drop to close park days after 4 days at St Pete beach - if you’re only doing the parks for a few days highly recommended adding on time at the beach! Way cheaper than adding extra Disney days
I find it absolutely crazy how you read my mind- I've been planning my trip for December since January, purchased the guides, and stay up to date with your videos. Thank you so much!
Nice review! Personally, I'm one who prefers to go slower. With grandkids, we like to go to the hotel after lunch for naps and swimming. Then we return in the early evening for round two of fun! So many different ways too enjoy these wonderful parks. Genie plus was expensive but worked like a charm for us. Never waited very long for anything.
This is what we do, too! You can always tell what time it is in the parks, based on the temperament of the children and fatigue of the adults, lol. And the break is just as good for us adults as it is for the kids!
we are doing 3 days in the parks with littles. We are only going to (2 days MK ) and 1 day Epcot. Arrival day is for resort time and dinner at a resort. We have gone for longer, but this was all we could get this trip.
Love the Harbour House. Don't know when we will ever get to go back to Disney World but I do appreciate Disney Food Blog for the videos. Love to hear about Disney World even if we don't get to back.
Is blocking the center pavilions between France and Norway new? I was there Feb 29th and we were able to ride Remy first (at 9am) and then walk through the countries to ride Frozen right afterwards.
Wow, we did almost exactly as you described in this video at the end of January/first of Feb week! We had a vacation pkg with Universal for 7 nights, 4 days park2park tickets. On that Tues, Wed., and Thurs, we hit DW...one park each day and then on Thurs evening did MK After Hours. This trip was perfection!!!
Great Advise DFB! I would suggest that everyone realize that "...There is more to see than can ever be seen, More to do than can ever be done." In my opinion, on busy days the parks have more rides than can practically be done in 3 days, not to mention all the shows, characters, street-mosphere, shopping, meals, snacks, etc. Choose which types of experiences are important to you and your family & prioritize those. Do your homework with park maps & plan your day so that you're not running from one side of the park to the other. Manage your expectations so that (even if you didn't get to do everything) you enjoy every one the hours that you're there. After all, you're in Disney World!
I’m doing 3 nights and 3 days next month. Get in at night so no park then full day MK full day Epcot then leave the next after noon. This video is “tailor made” for me 😂 love all your stuff been watching for 2 years now.
WHEN and WHERE do they post which nights are extra hours for Deluxe Guests? I will be there mid December and want to plan out which days to tour which parks. I need to know if any of those extra hours days will be happening. Two years ago I was there for four nights and missed that altogether. My big plan is to have one day where I skip the early entry and rope drop event (which I almost never miss) and stay late somewhere instead.
@rnguyen2516 I drive a car instead of disney transportation. I know what things are must dos for me inside each park. Sometimes I just go to Epcot only to ride Guardians and maybe grab a snack and I leave. I do usually stay at what ever park is open the latest until closing.
AJ, Great video! I can now see how it is "Doable" for some motivated folks. Here is a tip I discovered on my last trip. We watched the fireworks at MK from the end of Main St. Afterwards we walked through the Main St Shops and missed most of the crowds. We were one of the firsts on the ferry back to our resort.
Three days just simply isn't enough time! I get it, people have different lengths they're able to visit with availability and budgets, but three days in Disney can go by faster than Tinkerbell on a zip line! Good tips but I will say, Hollywood Studios seems to work best with Genie+ in my own experience. I would get there for rope drop and purchase Genie+, you'd be surprised how much you can accomplish before noon! See ya real soon DFB!
Honestly depends on what you want to do. I took a trip with the family for 3 days. Full day at MK and HS. Split AK and Epcot. G+ in HS and MK. We all picked 2 rides in each park that were must do’s. After that was bonus. Ate all quick service to save time. We actually got everything plus some done. It’s all based on your preferences. I’ve done 10 day all the way down to 2 day trips. Depends on what we are planning vacation wise that year.
V helpful, tho no way I could manage the pace! Quick question though. If you’re not on property & need to wait until a park opens to try for an ILL, do you have to be in the park, or can you do it from where you are?
We’re going after this park and Universal in our 8 day trip. Park Hopper galore with 4 days at DisneyWorld plus MK after hours. I hope that’ll be enough because we need our Universal days lol
In my opinion you should go to magic kingdom, animal kingdom, and hollywood studios. Hollywood is such a good park with really good intensity level. Animal kingdom for the theming, and magic kingdom for the disney vibes. If you don’t enjoy intense rides, you should choose epcot over hollywood studios. If you have 4 days, don’t waste your time in the water parks, just go to every disney park. Trust me. If you are going to a water park, choose blizzard beach. Typhoon lagoon is horrible.
It's much cheaper to add the park hopper than to pay for an extra hours event. In that case I would start in DHS and hop over to AK around 2 or 3 PM, then hop back to DHS after AK closes for Fantasmic.
We just had 4 days, 1 at each park, and we park hopped a few times! I honestly think 5-7 days is best even tho we got to do shows, fireworks, rides and eateries
Raglans had a appetizer "little bit of heaven"..remember it?...it was individual crispy pork ribs in a special sauce...so delicious...could you try getting it back?
We are planning a quick trip in November for Mickey’s Meery Christmas Party! I have a snack recommendation for Epcot: the fish and chips from Yorkshire County Fish Shop. I have a question, though. Which Friendship Boat Launches are running across the World Showcase Lagoon, and does anyone know the hours?
If I only had 3 days I would skip Hollywood Studios. My family loves it but it’s my least favorite park.Have had too many bad experiences with both food and the cast members treatment of my child who has a disability.
Still watching video but If you are staying in Fort Wilderness you have a launch (I don't know if this launch is straight to Fort Wilderness, or if Wilderness Lodge is a stop also?)
Are they doing the kiss good night again? They haven't done it for since before Covid. Can anybody confirm this? I was just there in January and they were not doing it. It would be so awesome if they do. It is the most magical way to end the evening.
no, it's a little thing where they would greet guests offering thanks for visiting and hope that we all had a wonderful time. And all to backdrop of beautiful music. It is sad they stopped doing it. I suspect it's because it started with "ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls...." They have removed that wording from any announcements. @@Jdub1005
Great video, as always! It's my favourite channel to learn about Disney! My family and I are going for the first time in September. Do you recommend first-timers to do one park per day or park hopper essential to fit in as much as you can? We'll have 5 park days & are staying at Disney Resort. Also, is the second week of Sept really a low-crowd season? I'm hoping we don't have to purchase Genie + for every day! I've been following all the best spots to eat & snacks your wonderful team has suggested! Soooo excited!! 174 days to go 🎉
First timers should always spend a full day at each park! There's so much to do. Save the money from Hopper pass and plan on Genie Plus each day. Genie is ALWAYS worth it. There is no "slow season".
I did basically the same trip last trip. Only in mid February. Didn’t do park hoppers. Did do genie plus everyday. It’s only slow if you think a 30 min wait isn’t unbearable. My 5 year old couldn’t handle a 30 min wait so genie was worth it for us. Either way hope you have a great trip and no matter what it’ll be memorable and magical. 🎉
Don't listen to that other person, September is still dead at the parks for the most part. It's hotter than the surface of the sun, peak hurricane season, and kids are all back in school. As long as you go in with a plan for the weather you'll be fine. And don't stay at a Skyliner resort.
How exciting! How many are in your family? How old are the kids? I recommend a one park per day strategy for first-timers. I’m not sure if you’re planning on buying tickets to the Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, but you don’t need a park admission for that but just a ticket if that makes sense! And even though the event starts at 7 pm, ticket holders are allowed in at 4! That kind of day is a GREAT day to sleep in and enjoy your resort or take in a character meal. On our last trip that is what we did. We also used Genie+ and Virtual Queue to sleep in or stack our rides when we actually did arrive in the park. We did purchase Lightning Lanes for the rides we really wanted to go on, but you can rope drop those and some are even to better at night if you don’t want to pay for an ILL. But if you’re an early rope dropping kind of family that also wants to take in the sights at night, I’d plan on leaving mid-day and taking a little nap or swim break for a few hours and coming back to enjoy the park at night/fireworks. Rope dropping every single day is exhausting, so if you can manage a resort day in the middle of your vacation or sleeping in by strategically booking your rides, that’s the way to go! Changing into fresh clothes after a long day at the parks does a world of good! Pack cooling towels, refillable bottles, Band-Aids/blister bandages, ponchos, neck fans (for some family members) and an extra pair of park shoes for everyone. I’ve had shoes get rained on at night, and they never dried! September is hot, but you’ll have lower crowds (unless going during a holiday weekend). Also, don’t be afraid to split up your party on Genie+. Some people can ride one thing, and others can do something else and meet back later! I also like to mobile order/grab refreshments while waiting for a parade or fireworks. It helps pass the time! You can also use the app to purchase things in the main gift shops at the parks. You don’t have to wait in line! Just pack an extra bag in your backpack because some shops may have stopped providing shopping bags (I know-crazy). And don’t forget to ask for first-time pins at your resort! They’re free at your resort and of course at the parks.
@@JessahComstock Hi, thanks for your reply. We're contemplating one park per day, as that will save us $$ and can utilize Genie+ more. Since AK closes earlier, I thought it might be a good option to then go to say MK for fireworks after but I'm sure we can figure out a time filler or just enjoy being done early that day(s). I did hear while not way less crowded, it is supposed to be more manageable with kids back to school. Fingers crossed that's the case.
Being a Disneylander I think it’s just worth skipping Hollywood studios on a three day trip. Rockin rollercoaster is cool but isn’t anything out of the ordinary and it doesn’t seem to have Disney magic. For three days I’d just stick to magic kingdom, animal kingdom, and Epcot. And even maybe buying a single day pass for magic kingdom the day your at animal kingdom.
I can do 3 days and immerse a guest that I am hosting with a grade A experience. The trick is going to be Tron due to required reservations. Rise of Resistance and Avatar might need the $$$ extra as well as Snow White mine train, and
Lol - being a fireworks and roller coaster averse person really does give me more leeway than even my traveling companions - I believe in relaxation even on a short trip. My only must do rides are TOT, Muppets, Pirates, Space ship earth and living with the land. You can find me in a lounge, shopping or by the pool. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
We just did 3 days!!! Animal Kingdom dinner at the Boat House, Hollywood Studios ending the night at Oga’s Cantina, and Disney Springs & Epcot. It was amazing and we did so much!!! We’ve been many times so knowing what we wanted to prioritize really helped. 🩵
don't understand people in the comments acting like 3 days is impossible. Pick 1 park you don't wanna do and then a full day at the other parks easy as that. Also feels weirdly judgey of people who can't afford to go for like a week + 🙄
disney ppl are just so all over the place. they always say it’s too expensive but then also say it’s impossible etc to do this lol. i’ve only ever done 3 days at disneyworld but yeah i do parkhoppers. it’s nice. i like to leave something new to see for next time
I went on one day once, and i did Park Hopper and genie + for two parks and paid for lightning lane all together, it was like almost $400 for one day...lucky i had it all on credit but dang it was wild for one day, i cant imagine 3 days thats a very expensive vacay.
Save your money and make it at least 5 days. There’s just way to much to do in all the parks to pay thousands of dollars and only do half of Disney. We travel every summer with the kids from Texas for 10 days at Disney. Even that, it seems like our days are jam packed. Character dinning, rides, shows, resort fun, it’s a lot.
As a clarification, "Surf and Turf" is a SPECIFIC meal of lobster tail and filet mignon. It is NOT a general descriptive term of the types of cuisine offered at an establishment. Being able to get, say, chicken fingers and shellfish like shrimp or prawns at the same place is AWESOME (and I'm sure the restaurant is great), but it is NOT "Surf and Turf." :)
As someone who just did 7 days in the parks, 3 days would be easy. 2 days for Magic Kingdom and 1 day for Hollywood Studios. AK and Epcot aren't worth it
Disney wants your money, damnit! Come on down, spend some bread, & make sure y’all visit as many restaurants & stores as you can. We WILL make your trip a fulfilling experience (‘course, if we don’t, we urge you to come back - if only for 3 days - and do as instructed. Be happy (& bring your bank card)! Yes, a tad curmudgeonly. I know. I’ve just grown tired of the insincerity & salesmanship. Never mind me. 👍🤔
Your videos are amazing but you are missing out on about quarter of the population who goes to Disney who is celiac/gluten free. Please at least mention sometimes when items are gluten free or when restaurants/quick service can do gluten free it would be so helpful. Otherwise I think your channel is a wonderful resource for going to Disney just not for the food for a gluten free person. 😢
Would love to see a couples (no kids) trip planning video!
Romantic hidden spots in the parks, intimate restaurants, best drinks, quiet hotels, etc!
Sorry, but if I didn’t have kids, I’d rather go to Italy or Greece or some white, sandy beach in Mexico. I just don’t get Disney World as a romantic get away for two 🤷♂️
Great request. My husband and I did Disneyland before kids and it was magic. We laughed and smiled all day.

4-5 nights seems to be good for me! 3 park days and/or and after hours event, plus a day at the Grand Floridian Spa!
In the parks mobile ordering saves a ton of time too (a lot of people wait in line, and we walk straight up to the pick up window).
Last time we were there, you could not special order any food, just get it the way it comes, otherwise yes it's much faster.
Do sit downs for lunch. You need an hour off your feet if you’re hitting them day after day. Plus, it’s the longest wait times anyway so you’re not missing much.
Even though I went for 5 days last year, I felt like I didn’t have enough time! Disney is such a fun place!🤘
Yes!!! R.I.P. the sauces at Mr. Kamal's. I was so disappointed that the curry ketchup was gone.
Seven dwarfs mine train will probably be the lightning lane to prioritize in a few months
Rise of Resistance and Avatar might need the $$$ extra as well as Snow White mine train, and
Lil kids - MK x3
Teens - MK 2x and HS
Adults - MK, Epcot, HS/AK
Lol - being a fireworks and roller coaster averse person really does give me more leeway than even my traveling companions - I believe in relaxation even on a short trip. My only must do rides are TOT, Muppets, Pirates, Space ship earth and living with the land. You can find me in a lounge, shopping or by the pool. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Spirits from the English pub, the best?💗💗
Brooo i paid for the plus package with water parks and golf because they didnt advertise the free water park check in day anywhere!
Great love the advice
Please do a vid of the best kids meals in WDW (for adults!) :)
We're doing 3 days this Easter week. We're skipping Animal kingdom. Hope to get the best out of it.
Good job I have 12 days to fit that all in
Make a list of what you want to do/eat etc but be flexable!
Thanks a lot
If you only have 3 days then go to Hawaii, it's cheaper and more relaxing 😂
don't understand people in the comments acting like 3 days is impossible. Pick 1 park you don't wanna do and then a full day at the other parks easy as that. Also feels weirdly judgey of people who can't afford to go for like a week + 🙄
disney ppl are just so all over the place. they always say it’s too expensive but then also say it’s impossible etc to do this lol. i’ve only ever done 3 days at disneyworld but yeah i do parkhoppers. it’s nice. i like to leave something new to see for next time
@@K1K1P00H I only do 3 or 4 days and accomplish a lot.
@@jeanettesmith765 agreed! it feels like a nice vacation still :) i’m glad you do!
I can't imagine taking a three day Walt Disney World trip, but it's better than not going at all
We're staying at pop century.
Unless you live nearby…I recommend at least 4 full days.
3 days? geez... some people are lucky enough...
1 day is like a dream...
3 days - I would spend one full day at each park except HS.
I’d skip animal kingdom especially since it closes early
@@noneyun9943 it’s a toss up between those two for me. I hate to skip any of them, but… I love FOP and I’m not a big Star Wars fan.
I don't understand what you did to go to animal kingdom the next morning???
Resort guests (those staying in-world) get access to the parks one-half hour early.
@@vincent412l7 thank you! At first I thought she meant that her ticket from the day before also worked at another park the next morning.
I went on one day once, and i did Park Hopper and genie + for two parks and paid for lightning lane all together, it was like almost $400 for one day...lucky i had it all on credit but dang it was wild for one day, i cant imagine 3 days thats a very expensive vacay.
No dinosaur. We can skip that 😆
Save your money and make it at least 5 days.
We WILL make your trip a fulfilling experience (‘course,
if we don’t, we urge you to come back - if only for 3 days - and do as instructed.
Also would you please mention allergy free and vegan options?
Sorry I didn't leave a comment earlier. It's my first day of work after 2/12 months off work after I broke my leg
