Great stuff man. I know the video is seriously old for me to give my input, but I started using google data studio to create dashboards and reports for me and for clients, and dam! Its amazing
Oh, sorry, didn't mean to say that the strategy was old. Just that the video is close to being 2 y.o and perhaps giving an input on it now wouldn't be as relevant. But it is good to know that you guys are still working with it. I would be interested to see a more in-depth of how it works since on this video you couldn't show more details because of sensitive information.
FINALLY!! I've been waiting for this for years. This is one of the major functions that Microsoft excel had over sheets. Tools - Record. Then playback to repeat what you just did. The possibilities are endless. No instruction needed just imagination.
Fantastic video. Thanks for sharing Ryan! I've been looking for inspiration and I found it in your videos. I have about 40 clients, use GSuite, but am always looking for that next piece of software that will solve all my problems, and deep down I know Google Sheets / Excel is the most powerful tool. I must submit myself to stop chasing the shiny object and just put a system in place that works and stick with it.

I am with you on Google sheets. I used Excel From when they started.Yes Excel has a lot of bells and whistles. The main thing that turned me into google sheets was the real time sharing. I have been using Google sheets for the last 5 years. The only problem is you get to much data it slows way down and takes time to load. All them sheets you showing Are just basic data pulling. You give me a data base and you tell me what you want pulled it is easy. I do it all the time for my business. I stopped using Excel. I needed info in in real time. Not for some one to send the info and then encode. The person doing the job will encode the info and I have it.
Hi, Thanks for the great video. I have 2 Google sheets files using the same template[which means the column names are same in both of them]. But they contain different records/data. How do I find the difference between them in an easy, quick way? Regards

I have the below google script to movew cells after i put i word for instance once I say "ok" then the row will be moved into another sheet based on my confirmation as I have wrote "ok", but I want to add another word beside "ok", for instance I want to have two words "ok'' or "confimed'' to do the same thing, i have been working on it since two days but I can't execute this function; I don't any videos on youtube as well to show how to run different/ multiple google scripts in one sheet. below is the script just tell how can i add another word beside the ''ok''. I'm not sure when the last time you used Excel, but most of the pros you gave sheets, excel has as well and there's a ton of support on the msdn site alone. Not hating, I've considered learning GS (script not sheets) numerous times now. However, now I don't feel it's as important as I'm sure most business still use the office suite over google.
I use Excel limitedly. In our experience, Sheets is better for a lot of reasons - our entire organization runs on Drive, Excel has benefits but not for enterprise level organizations
@@NOTRyanStewart I'd say that was an inaccurate statement. Excel was designed for enterprise level. Not trying to be rude, I would just say you didn't know how to utilize it. Which is understandable. Sheets can be much more user friendly to someone who doesn't know either so I can see how a company could trend in that direction. I know several that do use it, just more use office.

Thank you very much for the video, ideas and template. I have a doubt: when you generate the sheet for the client, is that sheet editable by client or just an informative sheet? I mean, I know how to export just the rows for one client from the master project sheet, but the client's sheet wouldn't be editable, just informative and I don't know if you got to make it editable. Thanks!
