I’m glad u pointed out the recording timer in red on upper left side. And how to get to it if u have to different phones x and above is right above and older models get it from below . This was great. My only question now is how to do it if ur on Facebook messenger during a video call, or how to do on face time. But I use messenger mainly. So I’d like to kno how on msngr .
Just set on record, swipe up the screen then swipe up the screen you like you like to record and voilà it is recoding exacly the screen you see. You have 3 seconds to do this. 1. start FaceTime first or whatever you like to record, 2. swipe it up this screen 3. from right upper corner swipe down the screen you learned here and push record 4. quick swipe the screen up 5. quick swipe from down up the open app you like to record and make it the active one if you have several apps open. Remember everything you do is getting recorded after just 3 seconds. You can even choose where to record in the new update. And you can choose whether your mic is on or off. It will record the sound of a video without your external sound in the room. It is only useful to turn on, if you like to comment a video whilst the record is running.
It's not, at 0:23 you can see that theres also an option for dark mode which came with iOS 13 and years ago yes they had iphones withjout bessles and ios 11 with the screen recording function but not dark mode. So it was recent.
Red indicator is not a timer like you said. It turns red and the numbers represent the time of your phone. Not exactly a timer. I was hoping to see some mention of the lack of settings to change the recorder’s video resolution. As it is, it records in .mov or .mp4 in a random way not sure why it changes maybe it has to with the length of the recording itself. The video files are very heavy size wise it goes to half a Gb in just a few minutes not ideal if you have to make many recordings. Enjoyed the background music all in good taste. Thanks ;)
