60+ now. I use chair stretching/yoga now. Lower kicks. Open hand strikes and a lot more use of forearms, elbows, and knees. Still going!!!
Mike M now in AR. 😊

59 here, how did that happen? 🥺
Missed several years of Sparring due to that thing and other reasons.
Upper body is strong, can punch, defend but legs are week. No fancy kicking for me me anymore.
Knee to the Balls is all I can do.
    Running away seems best option.

Always run… if we can can! 😁 But your backup plan sounds pretty solid, too. Keep fighting! 👊🏼

Please , if possible would you make some tutorials regarding exercise and diet for martial arts .. what's kinda grips do you use for pull ups , I want to start fitness but there's soo much science and contradictory advice that it gets overwhelming n irritating that where to start from in this age if information overload n it leads to procastination 😓 . It's easy for those who are related to fitness career

You’re right! There’s so much information out there it can be overwhelming. The trick is just to start with something and see how your body reacts.
Personally, for pull ups, I use all grips! I like variety in my workouts. As far as diet, that’s like talking about religion! I’ve tried several over the years and again, in the end, you have to trust your body to tell you when you’re going in the right or wrong direction.
Bottom line-make some choices and get started. In a month, see how you’re feeling and make whatever change you see fit. Have fun with it!👍🏼

I have just started back to ITF TKD after 15 yrs away. I’m struggling with starting over after getting my black belt all those years ago. I don’t know how to find it within myself to continue on the journey I’ve restarted. I love martial arts so much. But lately I can find every excuse not to go to training. What the heck is wrong with me?

Good for you for getting back on the mats! 👍🏼 But don’t let comparisons to yesteryear stop you from being the best you can be today. You’re a different person now. (Plus, you’re way ahead from where you’d be if you had no experience at all!) trick may be just to set different goals. My new video might actually be helpful on that front. Happy training! 🙏🏻

@@MaddogKernan Sorry for your injury. I've also had shoulder issues over the years... but that's when I focused on stances, kicking, and footwork. Train what you can!
