Nah don't like this much, the growling is too teenie bopper.I enjoy their newer stuff his vocals are really good and the music is good also.I like all their music but the growling nope.
They went unique in their own way. They created a completely own sound that is not to be compared with other bands. Call it melodeath, there are more melodeaths but no one sounds like them...they combine beauty and power, to call that soft doesn't cover the load...
Since Tomi Joutsen (singer in this video) joined in 2005, they incorporated many of their Death Metal-roots again. Just listen to their three most recent albums 'Under the Red Cloud', 'Queen of Time' and 'Halo', which are my favorite three Amorphis albums. Them going soft in the late 90s had a lot to do with Relapse Records, their label back in the day (I can recomment their biography as this whole topic is well explained in there), and was also the reason for their original bassist Olli-Pekka Laine to leave in 2000 (he rejoined in 2017) because he couldn't identify himself with the direction they were going. I think, Amorphis is currently the strongest they have ever been (in studio and live).
Debut album is so underrated!
Listening to this song live never gets boring.
Yes!
Heaviest amorphis song hands down. I can't believe I missed this gem till 2019
They should include this and 'Vulgar Necrolatry' again in their shows! This would be so great 🤘
Belleza de banda en vivo!!
The best live performance of all time
What an amazing version of this song!
First I've heard of such ballsy, deep growls being described as 'too teenie bopper.' To each their own I guess.
What...a..Band...insane good👍🏻
Long live Amorphis!
They are just fucking sick. The best live band ever
Not bad for a track that is essentially twenty years old.
i like " the smoke " of morphis best!
There is a bear in leading vocals?
the old songs,, the better of AMORPHIS,,, the kings of Suomi
Haha just noticed for the first time that santeri kallio is totally absent in the song (keyboard player) XD probably a necessary loss
4:28.....he's in background
I realize your comment was a long time ago.......but wanted to chime in anyways

One of the greatest bands ever, until they got a new singer and went soft. Wtf. This album was twenty years ahead of its time. \m/
Well, they didnt went "soft". You probably never listened to the newer stuff. Otherwise Soft ISNT automatically bad.
Ihan hyvä, mutta lisää munaa esityksen..
