Anyone notice how even in Beomgyu's own imagination he's an outcast? There are a lot of pair-up shots in this MV (Yeonbin, Taebin, Yeonkai) but Beomgyu is never apart of it. The only time I can think of is when they are in "reality" on the tree with Taehyun (which in the last mv he was suffocating Taehyun so what is the truth Beomgyu?). Even at the beginning when they are getting on the carousel, I'm pretty sure Beomgyu isn't on either of the sides when they show them sitting down. When he is in focus he is a source of laughter by getting the water dropped on him. I think he does want to be trapped in the Blue Hour Magic but even he can't escape his own feelings in his dream. It's bittersweet because he loves to see his friends being happy but he isn't apart of it. Storyline theory-wise, I think it's possible he knows that there are bad endings coming (like YJ D-wording) and he doesn't want to accept it, but he knows it's inevitable. Either he's isolating himself in his imagination because he feels outside of the friend group in reality, or he wanted to focus more on seeing his friends smile in his dream than participating in the fun himself. Either way, he wants to enjoy himself, but he can't escape his reality even in a magical world.
I thought that, because at the end SB, HK an TH stand together and then there's a small gap between them three and YJ and BG, Beomgyu might be dead also and that's why the boys can only see each other in the blue hour (?)
Yooo I just checked back after 2 weeks and I did not expect this many likes on my theory! Thank you! I'm really interested in Beomgyu's storyline bc I think he simultaneously finds the most happiness and the most sadness when hes with his friends and that's a feeling I've had experience with. I think this MV is just a really good representation of enjoying the happy times in Blue Hour but seeing that you cant stay trapped in that idealistic world

I just love how this ‘dark’ is not the usual dark. Like you know, TXT's dark concept is so different from other dark concepts. I usually really love dark concepts, but nowadays they are overused. But with TXT since it has a unique combination of cute, fluff, fun, mystery, thriller, fantasy, their dark concept already brings me so much satisfaction. I can't even explain it properly lol.

During the concept trailer, Yeonjun and Hueningkai was on the same group and Soobin was the one outcasted. Beomgyu and Taehyun are sitting beside each other in both the blue hour mv and the concept trailer but we all know what happened. Beomgyu himself "killed" Taehyun. Does that mean something?

Kai and Beomgyu were holding hands together at 4:18 in the MV. He looked sort of irritated when Yeonjun had his arm around HueningKai’s neck. And later when zoomed out at 4:18 in Blue Hour MV, you can see only Beomgyu and Kai holding hands. And in the CYSM Mv, both Yeonjun and Beomgyu are messing around, Beomgyu suffocated Taehyun and Yeonjun was in on it as well probably as they both were throwing the “tomatoes”(blood) around. Kai always seems to be the one smiling or just by himself sometimes.

So, chronologically speaking BLUE HOUR goes in btw CYSM PRE-sequel and the actual CYSM and PUMA follows later and like-- Yeonjun is one of the least willing to leave the world of imagination (where he was even quite popular, being a close friend of almost everyone, before Beomgyu tried to steal his friends) and considering his rap part in puma he says “I told ya, too young to be on my own in this world” // actually all of them are aware that they will have to face a disturbing reality but tried their best to escape it, tho in someway (which we will probably be told in the next album) they official entered it and Yeonjun complains/regrets about it. I mean, PUMA would be that “wolf” moment of the day. Also, they talk about this puma which escaped the zoo, that we can interpret as a “safe place” where it was given food and everything needed for living a “comfortable life” (= their world of imagination/magical world), yet it’s not its natural habit, but the crud world beyond the zoo’s walls, where the puma is an endangered animal but is its “home”..but they will separate from one another (and almost forget completely about the magical world) on the WAY HOME. ** I also thought that maybe when the night comes, one of them who was considered a “dog” during daytime will happen to reveal a “wolf” during night time. I'm wondering if the prequel to CYSM is about maybe Soobin and Taehyun already left the dream world behind before everyone else and Beomgyu is still trying to re live it. He and Yeonjun seem to be the ones to want to keep things going while the rest are indifferent. The way Beomgyu acts in CYSM is very childlike. I'm confused. Could it be Beomgyu is the one trying to cling to his childhood and he was the last one on the tree because everyone else already left him and are accepting adulthood?

I think the red fruit might be strawberries as in CYSM, HueningKai is shown directly to be eating strawberries. And I think maybe the person Beomgyu was fighting in Eternally may be Soobin as they were fighting for a book, and Beomgyu lost, Soobin winning the book and in Soobin's blue hour teaser he is shown reading a book. i found out that those theories when the storyline is already connected, it seems like they are telling us a message to focus on our dream and not lost ourselves. No matter if something stopped you, don't give up. One day, you will have so many friends with you so many different things, but under "one dream". ohh yea how the “pain” (scar on yeonjun’s throat in nap of a Star) is now beomgyu’s bc he killed him? It could also show that now instead of the burden beomgyu carried as his pain (as spikes on his shoulder), it’s the guilt he harbors. Maybe.. but what I think is soobin was controlling beongyu and Kai .. he also might have reasons for it .. he want to control beongyu for the Eternity book because from what I have seen and heard almost every time beomgyu is the only one holding the Eternity book ... and talking about the beomgyu suffocating taehyun part ... i think taehyun somehow got to know about what soobin is planning .... after that when soobin got to know that taehyun know his secret(dont ask me how!.. I'm thinking the person Beomgyu was fighting on Eternally MV is Taehyun. Why? In the Crown MV we saw an edit that Taehyun has Antler Horns and above Beomgyu was literally an Antler. The book he was holding might be the key how to save Yeonjun or themselves but Beomgyu wasn't having that. We can see it in the Blue Hour where he stomped over a book in the end and it might be an indication that he's not favor for whatever is in the book that the 'Person' (or in my theory is Taehyun) was trying to do it and therefore that person fought Beomgyu which causes him to burst
i think that gyu was trying to protect their innocence but in the end he knew that it would be inevitable that they would have to grow so he’s trying to force them to see it, hence why he’s taking the book. Also notice how Yeonjun is always in front of light (well they focus on him) like when he put on the glasses in Run Away, the fire in CYSM and then the carousel in Blue Hour?
Just a little thing that I have bouncing around in my head: Blue hour in photography terms is where the sun is is significantly below the horizon line which results in a blue hue. You mentioned a lot about loops and circles...and Blue Hour happens once in the morning and then once in the evening. Do you think that naming the track Blue Hour is trying to signify this loop that they're in?

I love this. It's very relatable. Everything that's going on in life, it makes me want to run away. Me and my best friend are always saying "let's just go to an island on our own, away from people and the news." And Run Away is very relatable. This is why TXT are my favourite group.
Wild theory that I just came up with: the carousel in the sky is the star in nap of a star. Both of them are in the sky, both turn, and both end up going dark when they separate/stop being friends
Also, like you said, the other members are still in the magic world but beomgyu is already out of there, you also see thaeyun falling asleep on beomgyus shoulder, you see soobin sleeping, it can also be that that world is their dreams, their fantasy. But maybe beomgyu relized that dreams arent always coming true and fantasys arent real, thet being why he would be the only one still being in the tree.
My first ever theory for this mv was, that they WANT to be or are trapped in their imagination. when sun sets, they are able to get out except Beomgyu. Beomgyu's imagination doesnt end just like that. Its eternal.

here's a theory, the carnival is a loop if you read the book "miss Peregrine's home for peculiar children" or watch it in the movie adaptation you will see that at the end the loop closes and it was in an amusement park so, the carnival is a loop wherein they can travel back in time? that's why the Ferris wheel at the beginning was working counterclockwise and at the end it's working clockwise cause the loop closes?

Ohh dem..i relate to their storyline. Idk how to explain it clearly but it's like those times when im so fed up with reality i tend to literally imagine myself as someone who i always wanted to be especially being someone who has good status and friendship that will last a lifetime,being there for me and really gets me more compare to reality friends. Sometimes i got so attached with my imagination world to a point i keep comparing it to reality without even realizing and started to feel everything in reality was never enough to satisfy me including my friendship there are times in my thoughts i said "why cant they understand me more and be there for me more often,this friendship sucks i wish i have a friendship i always dreamt of". Escaping the reality has always been my way out of sadness. But i know deep down i can't keep leaning on my imagination world as it will make me less grateful for what exists in reality even tho there are difficult challenges to go through. I also relate to beomgyu's story in drama mv where he is being left out and feels like hes not the main character. It happened to me a lot back then. I once also read that people who loves to play pretend and "living" their imagination tend to be those who didn't get much attention from the people around them in reality. They do that to satisfy themselves,to enjoy that happiness they can't feel in reality.
Does anybody else think that the book that soobin dropped, the book that beomgyu stepped on could be the one that beomgyu was holding onto in "Eternally?" The book with the Sigil on it? I think it could be really important in the future, because in previous videos, laina mentioned it could be a diary of their memories.

I'm feeling personally attacked by this theory in particular. Like, the whole concept of leaving the magic world behind because there's no way to escape from real world and adulthood is just- Today is my 23th birthday, I'm about to start my last semester in college, and even tho I should be behaving like an "adult" by now, the truth is that I can't see myself like that. I'm so afraid of the passing of time, and the terrifying outside world, I just want to stop the time and stay in this magic forever too. But now, my age, my student-life and even my favorite group is telling me (or maybe YELLING) "you need to grow up" and it's just terrifying.
As someone who is 25, I totally understand you. I think it’s more about finding a good balance between what the “adult world” is and the wonder that exists when you’re young. If you go too hard into the adult things, I feel like that makes it boring, but you also can’t be a child your whole life - the balance between the two is something to strive for instead.

I don't know if you talked more about this, Laina, but I know that you mentioned the blue birds making a reference to the fairytale Cinderella and I want to elaborate on that idea because I had a sudden realization. In Cinderella's story, she is given magical clothes and her animals and pumpkin are transformed into horses and a carriage. However when the clock hits 12, all of that magic wears off and disappears. It's quite a lot like Blue Hour considering Beomgyu's lines, "My time machine, dusk turning dark I know that the end [of the magic and time with his friends] will come." Beomgyu is a lot like a Disney princess if you look at both stories in a way xD
When it asked who is the liar, if you binge watch all of Tomorrow X Togethers music videos you can see Taehyun is a bit off and when he asked who is the liar and the dance Taehyun is crossing two fingers along with soobin and Taehyun is the only one that doesn't say "friends don't understand me anymore" that's why I think Taehyun broke the Friendship up and I also think he is the liar if you go back and watch all their music videos You'll see why, also with this whole Beomgyu deal, Taehyun and Beomgyu may have some tea with each other

as she said, CYSM was after Blue Hour, so maybe Beomgyu was trying to get close to Taehyun so he can kill him. but Hueningkai is the only one thinking about others that they can be forever together and leaving Yeonjun under that tree doesnt seem right. isnt he the one who posted that 'instagram post' saying that "Soobin is not at fault" or smth like that??
All I get from this is that taehyun is trying to also separate them all as he saw reality coming he knew he couldn't stay in the imagination of blue hour forever but he wanted to stay what he didn't realise is that he is separating all of them at the same time I might be wrong this is what i get 😬
Kai and Beomgyu were holding hands together at 4:18 in the MV.
He looked sort of irritated when Yeonjun had his arm around HueningKai’s neck. And later when zoomed out at 4:18 in Blue Hour MV, you can see only Beomgyu and Kai holding hands.
And in the CYSM Mv, both Yeonjun and Beomgyu are messing around, Beomgyu suffocated Taehyun and Yeonjun was in on it as well probably as they both were throwing the “tomatoes”(blood) around. Kai always seems to be the one smiling or just by himself sometimes.

So, chronologically speaking BLUE HOUR goes in btw CYSM PRE-sequel and the actual CYSM and PUMA follows later and like-- Yeonjun is one of the least willing to leave the world of imagination (where he was even quite popular, being a close friend of almost everyone, before Beomgyu tried to steal his friends) and considering his rap part in puma he says “I told ya, too young to be on my own in this world” // actually all of them are aware that they will have to face a disturbing reality but tried their best to escape it, tho in someway (which we will probably be told in the next album) they official entered it and Yeonjun complains/regrets about it.
I mean, PUMA would be that “wolf” moment of the day.
Also, they talk about this puma which escaped the zoo, that we can interpret as a “safe place” where it was given food and everything needed for living a “comfortable life” (= their world of imagination/magical world), yet it’s not its natural habit, but the crud world beyond the zoo’s walls, where the puma is an endangered animal but is its “home”..but they will separate from one another (and almost forget completely about the magical world) on the WAY HOME.

In that case, blue hour would be before bc that’s where beomgyu is trying to preserve their childlike innocence, and we see 5:54 on soobin’s phone in magic hour which means blue hour is more of a pre-sequel. as for run away, it takes place after all of this? bc CYSM was closer to sort of like supper time/night time, but run away was more filmed during mid night and was them trying to rewind time and bring back everything that was lost? i also don’t know if that made sense lmao but it’s v interesting.
I'm wondering if the prequel to CYSM is about maybe Soobin and Taehyun already left the dream world behind before everyone else and Beomgyu is still trying to re live it. He and Yeonjun seem to be the ones to want to keep things going while the rest are indifferent. The way Beomgyu acts in CYSM is very childlike. I'm confused.

I know this is very out of context but I stumbled upon this Netflix series called sweet tooth. It literally gave me goosebumps on how it catches with txt's very first storyline. You know with the horns.
I think the red fruit might be strawberries as in CYSM, HueningKai is shown directly to be eating strawberries. And I think maybe the person Beomgyu was fighting in Eternally may be Soobin as they were fighting for a book, and Beomgyu lost, Soobin winning the book and in Soobin's blue hour teaser he is shown reading a book. i found out that those theories when the storyline is already connected, it seems like they are telling us a message to focus on our dream and not lost ourselves. No matter if something stopped you, don't give up. One day, you will have so many friends with you so many different things, but under "one dream".

I was thinking that maybe Taehyun and Beomgyu fought on CYSM mv is because Beomgyu 'somehow' killed Yeonjun? From the first video you made about this where I think their photoshoot where Beomgyu has this flower tattoos on his neck that are similar to Yeonjun's crown where Taehyun saw him dead in Eternally. And Taehyun is trying his hardest to find the clue in everything and save his friends so maybe he thought Beomgyu is betraying him somehow. Etc etc I forgot what I was about to say but I have many thoughts about this Blue Hour MV🤣
ohh yea how the “pain” (scar on yeonjun’s throat in nap of a Star) is now beomgyu’s bc he killed him? It could also show that now instead of the burden beomgyu carried as his pain (as spikes on his shoulder), it’s the guilt he harbors. And them fighting on CYSM could be beomgyu trying to keep taehyun quiet bc he figured out that beomgyu was the killer, that’s where we see beomgyu trying to suffocate him. is also connects with the timeline bc blue hour comes before CYSM, eternally and magic island (as we saw the 5:54 on soobin’s phone in magic island), so it could be in blue hour that beomgyu’s trying to get closer taehyun but it doesn’t work out so he has to take the hard way out. it could also be that yeonjun made a deal with the cat and beomgyu was somehow involved which is why when yeonjun dies, he’s guilty for it? v interesting, can’t wait for the next comeback!
I might just be overthinking but every time Kai is by himself or him having this sort of resentment as he stated in the CYSM Mv, Beomgyu suffocates Taehyun after that. Then I see Taehyun throwing something/food maybe at Kai while Kai is behind a counter eating peacefully.

Maybe.. but what I think is soobin was controlling beongyu and Kai .. he also might have reasons for it .. he want to control beongyu for the Eternity book because from what I have seen and heard almost every time beomgyu is the only one holding the Eternity book ... and talking about the beomgyu suffocating taehyun part ... i think taehyun somehow got to know about what soobin is planning .... after that when soobin got to know that taehyun know his secret(dont ask me how!.. I'm thinking the person Beomgyu was fighting on Eternally MV is Taehyun. Why? In the Crown MV we saw an edit that Taehyun has Antler Horns and above Beomgyu was literally an Antler. The book he was holding might be the key how to save Yeonjun or themselves but Beomgyu wasn't having that. We can see it in the Blue Hour where he stomped over a book in the end and it might be an indication that he's not favor for whatever is in the book that the 'Person' (or in my theory is Taehyun) was trying to do it and therefore that person fought Beomgyu which causes him to burst

i think that gyu was trying to protect their innocence but in the end he knew that it would be inevitable that they would have to grow so he’s trying to force them to see it, hence why he’s taking the book. Also notice how Yeonjun is always in front of light (well they focus on him) like when he put on the glasses in Run Away, the fire in CYSM and then the carousel in Blue Hour?

You mentioned a lot about loops and circles...and Blue Hour happens once in the morning and then once in the evening. Ohh dem..i relate to their storyline. Idk how to explain it clearly but it's like those times when im so fed up with reality i tend to literally imagine myself as someone who i always wanted to be especially being someone who has good status and friendship that will last a lifetime,being there for me and really gets me more compare to reality friends. Sometimes i got so attached with my imagination world to a point i keep comparing it to reality without even realizing and started to feel everything in reality was never enough to satisfy me including my friendship there are times in my thoughts i said "why cant they understand me more and be there for me more often,this friendship sucks i wish i have a friendship i always dreamt of". Escaping the reality has always been my way out of sadness. But i know deep down i can't keep leaning on my imagination world as it will make me less grateful for what exists in reality even tho there are difficult challenges to go through. I also relate to beomgyu's story in drama mv where he is being left out and feels like hes not the main character. It happened to me a lot back then. I once also read that people who loves to play pretend and "living" their imagination tend to be those who didn't get much attention from the people around them in reality. They do that to satisfy themselves,to enjoy that happiness they can't feel in reality.

I think it could be really important in the future, because in previous videos, laina mentioned it could be a diary of their memories.

Today is my 23th birthday, I'm about to start my last semester in college, and even tho I should be behaving like an "adult" by now, the truth is that I can't see myself like that. I'm so afraid of the passing of time, and the terrifying outside world, I just want to stop the time and stay in this magic forever too. But now, my age, my student-life and even my favorite group is telling me (or maybe YELLING) "you need to grow up" and it's just terrifying.
As someone who is 25, I totally understand you. I think it’s more about finding a good balance between what the “adult world” is and the wonder that exists when you’re young. If you go too hard into the adult things, I feel like that makes it boring, but you also can’t be a child your whole life - the balance between the two is something to strive for instead.

This theory reminds me of Demian. Sinclair's fear of adulthood, of leaving his "light" world. It is inevitable. One must destroy a world to create a new, better world. In this point of view, Beomgyu may represent Demian, which helps Sinclair in his process of individuation… but Beomgyu is trying to help them in a violent way, and this may finally destroy them and make the boys see him as a villain…

I don't know if you talked more about this, Laina, but I know that you mentioned the blue birds making a reference to the fairytale Cinderella and I want to elaborate on that idea because I had a sudden realization. In Cinderella's story, she is given magical clothes and her animals and pumpkin are transformed into horses and a carriage. However when the clock hits 12, all of that magic wears off and disappears. It's quite a lot like Blue Hour considering Beomgyu's lines, "My time machine, dusk turning dark I know that the end [of the magic and time with his friends] will come." Beomgyu is a lot like a Disney princess if you look at both stories in a way xD
