I mainly just watched the preview gameplay, looked at pictures and repeatedly died trying not to drown in pink goo, haha

I take an interest in my friends/families hobbies because it allows me to build a stronger relationship with them. I listen to what they tell me and try to compare it with Chess/Poker/Soccer because they’re my 3 favorite games and all games have correlation. Am I the only that thinks those games were made more passionately and looks more 'homebrewish'? Nowadays games have generic "movie like" music, and i think the giant teams normally don't let personal fun ideas to be implemented in the game. Not saying all programmers nowadays don't have passion, that would be a lie, i also program (but music, not games), and i do with passion. But maybe how they are made nowadays in comparison with the past, dunno, just a theory. Some indie games you can see the passion on it. But i do love AAA games, but they looks more soulless and generic by the time... Maybe games like Doom which were made by a bunch of friends, you can see their joy reflected in the game, by the soundtrack, by the animations and etc... I dunno, just deliberating, just opinion, personal, i don't mind much about that... Maybe not exactly that, but as a comparison of how i feel.
