Great to see high quality content on a pump fed system, I'm rebuilding mine in June using a retro bottom drain, nexus 320 and EA UV55 so there's loads of inspiration on your set up.
Well done, fortunately if that happened to me I think I'd leave it as the filter is in a horse field!! So doesn't matter really unless it's pouring out. Do wonder about the QA for EA - last summer I twisted/moved the bypass pipe and it came out - checking with Scrag68 the pipe was massively short, managed to get EA to send me the right length (about 25mm longer). Still hopefully yours and mine are both sorted now. Cheers
I can’t believe they would put a rubber boot in a place that holds that much weight to move it to service a perishable part. But fingers crossed should be ok now.
