Thanks for watching SoloFamGangArmyWarriors! Hope you liked this episode and the origins of Paul Bunyan! I had a lot of fun during the research portion of this one. I thought it was hilarious/awesome that our boy Paul may have actually been a real dude AND that the stories about him basically served as a gentle hazing for greenhorns in the woods 😂 Learning that simple camaraderie between “blue collar” workers gave birth to an American legend is one of the many reasons I love the series. Don’t forget to comment YOUR thoughts down below along with any recommendations you have for future episodes!
Hows your back ? I've been praying for your healing. I understand how chronic pain can be I've been in pain since Dec 21,2014. It makes living everyday life hard.
I’m a 6th generation logger. I grew up hearing all the Paul Bunyan stories in logging camps from Canada to North Carolina. My Grandpa even loved to tell the new guys that he had worked for Paul’s grandson when he started and had “Bunyan” carved on his ax handle as proof the he had got the ax from his grandson.
That sounds cool. Being a logger sounds like an interesting profession, as is listening to the stories as they would have originally been told. Like listening to a bard sing the Iliad in Greece.
hummm....... from what i remember, there is a VERY high possibility that Johnny appleseed was a real person, where as Davy Crockett most certainly was a real person. Another nice story might be Rip Van Winkle, but then again his story is more of a commentary about life at the time.
@@okami-shaman9548 Yes, Davy Crocket was definitely a real person. He was a Congressman from Tennessee (I'm from Tennessee, so he's one of the big state historical figures we learn about in school). He died in Texas at the Alamo.
We literally studied Baron Münchhausen in grade school because literally everyone and their grandma knows about him and his exaggerated stories here in germany. Paul Bunyan is clearly Chuck Norris
If he lived in Minnesota.
No, Chuck Norris grew from Paul Bunyan's beard 🙄
No Paul is chuck norris son
No, you are all wrong! Paul is Chuck's grandfather!

Lainey Bug especially since Disney did something on all of them
John Henry is kind of sad
and Bill Brasky!
Dont forget the truck driving legend "bandit"
Lainey Bug 🐞 😊

Have you done a Joe Magarac episode, yet? I read 1 article on him, seems very Paul Bunyan-ish. Have you done Pecos Bill?
