I did NOT agree with Biden nor did I like him yet I have the ability to recognize decency when I see it. We were drowning in Covid when he came onboard and he had been through a pandemic in 2009 (the humble beginnings of the Obama administration) that nobody remembers since it was done right and not made a political football. I also cut him some slack on the debate since he came down with Covid a few weeks later, it was probably incubating and messed up his performance. As long as Joe felt he could win, I stood beside him and he got my vote.
It is so wonderful to see that people out there recognize the accomplishments of Joe Biden. As he said in his speech he put country ahead of his own needs. A really really far cry from what Trump stands for. But we know he is DANGEROUS.

I actually don't think Biden would have been able to beat Trump again. Logically he should have been able to. I actually don't think Biden would have been able to beat Trump again. Logically he should have been able to. But after the debate, the GOP and a lot of the media would have made the entire race about every slow step he took, every hesitation in his speech, every pause as he thought of a new way to say something to avoid a stutter, any gaffs. And they would focus on him and give a free pass to Trump's lies and Trump's stumbles and gaffes.
