Hi, thank you so much for this video! I was wondering how you could display or view the the topography that you created with the last set of operators? Thank you, and not sure if that makes sense, or if it is possible to export what was made

Our pleasure :) I think it depends on how you'd like to export it. You could add a Render TOP and a Camera COMP which would give you a rendering environment to turn the geometry into a texture you could save. If that's what you'd like to do, I'd suggest diving into our free Beginner Crash Course on our youtube channel, in the middle of that course you learn how to setup a rendering setup for turning 3D geometry into textures you can export.

I'm replicating the displaced geometry grid with pastel colors, but when I apply my normal map to my phong it all turns black, any idea what's going on?

Figured it out, somehow adding a create attribute fixes the issue

This can happen when the geometry doesn't have tangent attributes - try adding an Attribute Create SOP directly after the grid1 SOP (and before the Geometry COMP). Within the Attribute Create SOP parameter window, turn the “Compute Tangents” parameter to On.
