    It looks like you knit in the back loop. I usually knit from the front. Will it make a difference? I’m looking forward to the knitted in the round version. 💜

    • @knittingforbaby

      No difference at all. You can knit and purl however you can and the end result is the same 😉

    Hi does the pattern on Etsy only work for 10ply or could it show us what to do for 8 ply yarn?

    • @knittingforbaby
      @knittingforbaby  6 месяцев назад

      Yes this particular pattern is for 10ply. If you want to use dk then the stitch count and rows are different.

    I have tried this cast on 6 time and 112 never come out with end result, then I decided to half size it 56 cast on same thing, cast seem to be off a stitch or two. can you help me or explain what's😃 going on.

    • @knittingforbaby
      @knittingforbaby  10 месяцев назад

      Hi! This hat is knit in rows so I have 2 extra stitches for the border to make it easier to seam once it’s done. The stitch multiple to my pattern is 11 (112-2=110/11=10)

      Just make it the same and use a slightly smaller size needle instead-1/2 size smaller
