The live versions are great too. In the year 2000 with blonde Chamberlin, the one with Melissa on the bass, and live in San Francisco 2016 with chorist.
Yeah it’s an awesome track and a great video. I love all things pumpkins though but it really is all amazing. Lol thanks so much for the view and comments. 😎💖
This is one of my favorite songs (well, I could say the same about a lot of Pumpkins songs) but I've only seen the video a few times. It's great to now see it in a new perspective! Thanks for the breakdown!
Probably your best Pumpkins video to date, congratulations. What a tale to put into video, I think I may have only seen once that particular song and yet it clicks for me too! How curious that it took us this long... Well done Billy Corgan! I love how they represented the decadent ugly court of Herod, the visuals are really good.
Thank you! I think it turned out really well also. And yeah I’m still kind of scratching my head on why or how it took me so long to put the story and the video together. I think our preshow discussion that one night about Salome may be refreshed the story in my mind, but that was a few months before I even made the mental link. Anyway, it’s a very well done music video and I can only hope my commentary does the work justice. 😎💖
Hey there!! Love that you are digging into the music video for this song and love the context you are bringing to the story being told. Amazing stuff. SP Forever
Yessss! This one has an extra good backstory or story that inspired. I still can’t believe it took me so long to put the video and the John the Baptist story together though. #blondemoment 😎 anyway, my eagerness to do a collab video is still existent so just let me know when you’re ready. All of my social links are on my about page. Thanks for the view and comment. 💖
@@OriginalAsherella you might have noticed that I out out a few videos recently.. first ones on my new setup in my new place... sooo. I am ready to have you on! Let's chat sometime in oct and make some plans. Would be honored to work on anything with ya.

My unique favourite song ever. Great video.

@@OriginalAsherella I always say that my favorite SP album is whichever one I listened to last... guess the same could be said about their songs

Love the in-depth analysis 👏🏽. I also have a hard time listening to this song without getting emotional, but you did it!
Thanks for showing up at the premiere. I am glad you enjoyed it! 😎💖
The art direction is according to the Aubrey Beardsley illustration of Salome.
Oh, now we know! Thanks. 💖😎
