Please don't blind buy perfume. I used to blind buy perfume because I was like "Hey, I like the notes in this perfume, I'll most likely like this perfume." And blind buy I would. You get a high off of buying perfume, like I did too.
But let me tell you, many a blind buy and return walk of shame later, I have discovered the beauty of eBay and mercari.
Buy partial bottles, buy 1.2 ml samples, but whatever you do don't blind buy unless you get a screaming deal. Save your hard earned 💰. I finally broke the habit of blind buying, I really recommend you do too.
I bought insolence EDT based on the hype from other youtubers as well, and I think it's beautiful - but I really don't wear it. It doesn't fit for me anywhere in my life - I just sniff it from time to time and appreciate it for what it is, and of course the lovely bottle. I won't lie - I mostly bought it for the bottle lol. :)

The Insolence EDT is way sweeter and hard to wear compared with the EDP which is powdery but in a cashmere calming way rather then sickening sweet. I love EDP and can't wear the EDT, so might be worth it to try the EDP, in the fall/winter/cold season for sure.
I think you got the wrong moschino perfume the one that’s a dupe for light blue it’s called cheap and chic I love love! Or try mandarina duck cute blue now that’s an almost identical dupe to light blue intence !its brand made in Spain 🇪🇸

A lot of the Guerlain perfumes RUclipsrs rave about I don’t like either. I don’t own many from the House. Chanel on the other hand, I tend to love everything they do! You could resell some of these perfumes you didn’t like maybe?

Insolence has to grow on you. I despised it at first, threw it in a box for a year and forgot about it. I tried it again a couple months ago and fell in love with it.
The one I know I will never ever like is Samsara. I just do not get that one and no matter how much I try to like it I just can't.

I love the EDT of Champs Elysee, where did you get the EDT from, it is really hard to find now, i am in love with that one for many years! the EDP is different, not as airy as the EDT

I just got insolence and I agree it’s a tough blind buy. Everyone described it spot on, yet somehow I wasn’t prepared for what I was smelling...
I’ve heard it’s better in the colder months so I’ll test it on a sweater come September/October and try to give it its day in the sun..
I give it points for uniqueness!

Hello Amanda! I am a huge fan of Guerlain. I recommend you to try the edp on those perfumes, the version edp is totally different than the edt. I love Insolence but only edp and Idyle only edp version.

I picked up Insolence as a blind by as well! Couldn't stand it at first, but it was like a train wreck and I kept going back to sniff it again. It's growing on me and you have to admit-- it's different! I think I'm going to take your recommendation on the Lalique La Parfum !

Loooove Champs Ellysee, my grandmother had a mimosa tree here in Central Texas. The scent takes me straight back... I have the EDP in the bee bottle and the longevity is poor. Nevertheless, I love it.
I just ordered 8 perfumes today, between FragranceNet and Mercari, and one of them was Lalique Amethyst! I’ve been wondering about the other Laliques, so I’ve added the two you like to my wishlist. :) I don’t like Insolence, either, while I wish I did. :( The Moschino you might have meant to buy was “I Love Love” (blue bottle). ;)

Was already close to buying Lalique Le Parfum but didn’t, now after your review I will surely get it ! Can so relate to your failed non-buy...the way I see it: I take little breaks just because I don t want to feel overwhelmed but then I need new juice as a real addict otherwise it gets boring doesn t it ? I try to balance it out by getting rid of a few perfumes or buying decants from the start...please keep on trying out new perfumes ! I just so appreciate that you buy perfumes for your private pleasure and don t present the same perfumes for publicity reasons like so many other youtubers...you are just like me wanting to get the best ones for your bucks...all the best to you ! 😘

I’ve been avoiding Alien since it seems to be so polarizing. I received a small sample recently and tested it on paper last night and LOVED it. Tried on skin this morning and have been in love ever since. Except to my surprise, I looked more closely at the sample just now and it is Alien Eau Sublime!!! Will definitely be picking up a full bottle soon, it’s rare that something is love at first sniff for me. Now I still have to get my nose on original Alien, but Eau Sublime has already stolen my heart. ❤️

Perles are a gem! I've got it instantly once I read somewhere that it is similar to discontinued Midnight Poison by Dior. Been looking for a dupe of that one for ages. Perles by Lalique do smell REALLY similar to Midnight Poison on the dry down. 1st blast it is nothing alike though. And the longivety are excellent. Now I probably get the L'amour as well because I've been eyeing that versense from Versace for a while.
I purchased a Perles on a blind buy and so glad I did! I wasn’t sure the first time I sprayed it but after 5 minutes...loved it!😊

I caved and purchased both of the Aliens you mentioned from FragranceNet. I also took advantage of Nordstrom’s 25% off sale and purchased the travel size Tom Ford Jasmin Rouge and Chanel Coco Noir. I love all of the perfumes I received however I don’t want to wear them and have quarantine memories tied to them. The next fragrances I’ll be hunting are Lalique Amethyst, Chanel Beige, and Maison Margiela Untitled.

The Lalique fragrances sound very interesting to me. In Australia they are still around $100 per bottle.... only available on line here.
Guerlain l’instant is pictured as “My Signature Scent” by so many members on Fragrantica. I read every single comment and was so confident to blind buy it. I did the same with Guerlain Insolence almost a year ago based on all the love. I felt the same way as you. I guess I find all violet scents smell alike, and I thought Insolence would somehow smell completely different. The l’Instant is nice, but smells like some of my powdery scents from Oscar de la Renta.

I just did a Lalique haul as well! I have all the ones you got. Still waiting on Satine and Le Parfum to arrive. You are right, Lalique by Lalique is very nineties. I love it though. I also have Amethyst (all 3), Perles, Living and Nilang. Great job. The other ones in my haul are Molecule 01, Elie Saab resort (blue and red). Can't wait for them to arrive. I have all those classic Guerlain but truth be told, I just collect them. I don't really reach for them.

Loved this video!!! Guerlain Insolence is a weird one.... my friend from France wears it and it’s her signature, when I first met her I HATED the smell, then it started to grow on me, it was so distinct I’d never smelled anyone so perfumed before 😂😂 now every time I visit her she smells like insolence and it’s so beautiful to me now, I own the EDT and EDP, and wear only 2 sprays. I wish I received more compliments on it but I don’t, and I’m a sucker for compliments so I don’t reach for it much.
It’s just not my cup of tea- it prob smells great on other people 😋

I hope they know how much your word of mouth has helped perfume junkies find this perfume house. I will let you know when they come in. I just couldn’t help myself. Lol... been cooped up in the house far to long... I also ordered Mouboussin L’elixer. Have you tried this one? Next in my perfume bucket list will be samsara and champs by Guerlain. I just received my Lalique’s and I love them both.. the bottles are beautiful and like I’ve seen many posts you could use them as a weapon lol....also I wanted to let you know I also received mouboussin elixir pour Elle and I love it also. It does remind me of La Vie EST Belle however it’s not as powdery and I think I may like it better. Funny Story- I have blind bought quite a few based on various youtuber reviews -- and only a couple have been "duds" in my opinion (-I don't care for Pink Sugar - I know everyone else DOES-and Jessica Simpson Fancy didn't WOW me. They are okay but not my favs).I bought Lalique Amethyst because of you and I was happy with it so when I watched this review and heard how much you LOVED Lalique Lamour I bought it. After I bought it in anticipation for its arrival I went on Fragrantica and other sites to do more research and heard such HORRIBLE reviews...one even said the beginning made her want to vomit?the more reviews I read the more polarizing they were- Love or HATE. So...it just arrived --and I thought "moment of truth" -- I opened up the box (gorgeous bottle) and sprayed---its PRETTY!!!!! Thank Goodness!!!!! I have NO IDEA what the extreme negative reviews were all about. Even if you didn't think it was your type of perfume it is NOT HORRIBLE in any way! It's LOVELY. I keep smelling the card and I have no idea how to describe it but it is PRETTY. Whew. SO RELIEVED. lol. Just goes to show you that reviews are all based on individual preferences. One mans "trash" may be your "treasure"! Thanks for the suggestion! I so want to try champs but I noticed you got the toilette? and was wondering why not the parfum? Im always afraid of weak sillage and longevity (which is info I appreciate in reviews) so I always go for the parfum thinking it is the best of those categories. Anyway, I could only get one and you said Lamour was your favorite and I am sooooo glad I got it. Thanks! I am saving it right now because for me it seems more of a fall/winter perfume, I like citrusy/bright/floral/fruity for spring or summer....Amethyst feels warm and cozy (to ME )rather than "bright"....but i find myself sniffing the bottle every now and then just to smell it because it is so pretty. lol. Is that weird? wink. On one hand I worry about blind buying because I need to watch my money, and I hate the risk. However, on the other hand, if not for reviewers like you I would never hear of most of these wonderful perfumes let alone be able to "sample" them as most of these are not found in stores and/or "samples" not available or easy to find. Good reviewers like you help us make the most educated purchase possible when literally smelling a perfume first is not an option. Thanks again.

im scared of fragrancenet. its hit n miss for me. sometimes i get legit scents, and other times, its fake, or watered down, and you can tell the cap has been tampered with. they dont last. i recently got my package from them, and 2 of 5 scents were rips offs. i got a rollerball of one direction that moment, and it was half gone, milky, and had a big white clump in it. 2nd rip off was escada island kiss. smelled exactly like another fake scent i got from them a few years ago. as if they have some generic perfume that they pour into each bottle. the hits were, a versace eros rollerball, that was legit and smells great, an incanto shine, smells wonderful and lasts forever, and a victorias secret crush rollerball. smells lovely and lasts
I've just found out about fragrancenet early April and ordered 3 different times since then and checked batch numbers and all were legit (9). That's scary that they have fakes.

I blind bought insolence EDT and I was not impressed I got the bee bottle version and it lasted about three hours. It was a very pretty Berry and sugared violets smell but it did not last.

Jajaja oh dear Amanda you don´t have to excuse yourself....it´s more than normal I´m in this Facebook group of Frag Collectors (Ouch110´s Smelly Friends" ) and everybody is doing what makes them happy, continue collecting fragrances jajaja....it is what makes us kind of have a little peace of mind of being back to the "normality" when we are not at all living normal lives....anyway....I also ordered many because they are cheap here in Europe at the moment and also % almost half price for Givenchy Very Irresistible EDP, and all the Givenchy Irresistible line was half price, the Guerlains Aqua line too, I don´t know why....I also got Olympea EDP and the Intense, Fendi Furiosa EDP, Repetto EDT, Chloe Nomade, Elie Saab Forever and M.Jacobs Daisy Love....I have 2 more that I am thinking about Alien Extraordinaire but just the refill, I dont have the bottle but actually kind of don´t need it, just maybe get a spray and have it in my purse.....and last one is Roberto Cavalli Gemma di Paradiso.....and I think I will really stop there....I do not need more really I have like more than 50....LOL!!!
