So, before I get all emotional let me say that I totally love this wonderful song composed by Momo and I wanted to sing it since it was out but I never had the courage to actually try hitting those high notes but it was high time to finally try, yeah. And now to emotional stuff...
Today I had to say goodbye to someone who was in my life for only a couple of days but meant a world to me. To some of you it may seem unreasonable why would I be so broken because of that, especially knowing that I'm actually talking about a cat...
So, few days ago I went to a shelter and got a kitten. I live alone and I was feeling really lonely so I thought I could help a homeless cat that way, by giving it a warm home and lots of love that it deserves. And so I got him, we clicked instantly, I never saw a cat this clingy and smart in my entire life, he would spend every second with me, he would follow me everywhere and he showed me affection no other being showed me before. This one was special since the beginning. Unfortunately just as we got home he didn't feel well. Few days later after this, when I already fell in love with him, I was already really concerned about his health since he refused to eat or drink, though I bought every possible cat food and tried to feed him literally everything I could to keep him healthy. We ran to see a vet asap ... and it turned out he could have a deadly virus. The next day, today, we went to the vet again to get his IV and test him for the virus. Sadly the test came positive and there was no chance to rescue him, he would either suffer and die at my house or leave while he was still happy and not in so much pain... they didn't even let me say a proper goodbye, asked me to leave him and put him down. The kitten was only 3 months old. I know this can sound really silly to someone who never had such a connection with an animal but it completely broke me. I really needed to vent and calm down, I felt like even though I did everything I could it is still not enough... so this is a cover in memory of my dear kitten, my friend and my family. RIP Ymir, I hope you're happy wherever you are right now...

I understand how you feel.
I had a 6-month kitten '' Lisa ''. It was the most playful cat and most touching I have had so far. She was always with me. As soon as I came home I threw my bag and took care of her. We were really 'accomplices', if we can say. I learned later that she was suffering from a disease that affected 1/5 cat, and the worst is that I think we could have saved her. But my mother hid her illness and the last words I told him it was '' Shut up, I play with my sister. '' Then she just wanted to spend his last moments with his 'mother'. I have tears in my eyes just by writing this ---
Finally, your voice is beautiful. I hope they are both based in peace.

I'm so sad for what happened, it must have been hard... he's surely feeling better now, I'm sure for how short time you had together you made him feel all the love he needed and more!
When I read the description, I almost cried. I know you're pain. I had a dog, but you see, we move a lot, and we had to leave her behind, and now she's an old grandma (who lives with my grandpa, who lives far away) and j haven't seen her in years. I had a cat, too, named DJ. But we moved again, and tight before we did he ran off and we couldn't find him. We were in a situation where we didn't have time to look for him. I also had a dog named Valentine, but my mother said it was better if we gave her to my cousin, so she did, but he didn't feed her and she got sick, so he gave her up. Then I had a kitten named Milkshake, who I had gotten for my birthday from my Uncle, but someone came along and wanted to buy the whole litter, so my Uncle took Milkshake away from me. (What kind of an Uncle does that to an animal living 7 year old?) I had a dog named Marley, too, but he was really big and at the time, my Mom had three young children. Marley was very playful, so he jumped up on us a lot, and though we weren't bothered, Mom said she didn't want him accidentally hurting us, so she gave him back to the shelter. I understand the pain of losing pets all too well, and believe me, it sucks.
This broke my heart completely.Thank you for being so strong honey. This is so absolutely beautiful. And he hears it, I know he does.

My condolences to your kitten ): As a pet owner I especially understand, I cried for weeks when my bunny died. I have a kitten now, and I'd be devastated if he passed away too. All that emotion you put into this song is breath-taking, and all I can hope is for you to get through this and look forward!

Sorry about Ymir. I can definitely relate to clicking with a pet, only for them to pass prematurely. I'm eager to see what you'd call perfect after a cover like this, however. It hit me in my soft spot.
Seriously, I love this so much. It's beyond perfect! I rarely like an English song but this really engraved itself in my heart. *feel like crying*
So I read the description and it's so sad ;_; Reminds me of my tortoises and dog who passed away.

Please don't say that this is unreasonable. Don't. I completely understand where you are coming from, Anko. I had something similar happen to my cat a few years back. If you need me, need someone to talk to, even though we don't even talk as much as we used to, please contact me on skype. You already have me added. You have a beautiful heart and soul, and I'm sure he is in a better place now watching over you. I truly hope you feel better soon. Nanami loves you.
