Dont know if anyone gives a damn but if you guys are stoned like me during the covid times then you can stream pretty much all the new movies on InstaFlixxer. Been watching with my gf for the last months =)
Hi Paula, I have more than 18000 SKU's but I'm really confused to do with excel or any tool like Power BI or Tableau. Do u have any forecasting videos for Excel?
Thank's a lot ! I'm searching for the best techniques to forecast. Please can you give-me your oppiinion? I've seen something about fourrier fast transform to do predictioins and machine learning too. Despite machine learning ( because for now is a bit complicated to mee) can you share something about the methods you recommend for a better quality of the prediction ? Maybe some best practices if the thime series is not regular, if some measures are wrong, there is a way to compensate this errors in our prediction with power bi ? Cause In real world we can have a database with some wrong values due to bad measures or missing measures. How it can impact in the powerbi analysis ? Thank's so much for your video ! It is very easy to understand :)
Thank you Paula, well explained! Do you know if there is documentation on the Microsoft Pages to the theory behind the calculations of the Forecast? For example what smoothing factor (alpha) do they use?
I have not come across such document on Power BI but there is one for Power View powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/describing-the-forecasting-models-in-power-view/
Great video, I have a small doubt! How far(years or months) can you ignore? I tried on my data for 10 years, it showed forecasting for 1,2,3 years but when I went to 4 years or more, it came out as a constant line! Any reasons for that?
Hey Paula , This is really awesome !! I have updated my Power BI desktop to the current version , I am unable to find the Forecast option from an Analytical pane.
Hello Mam this video was really helpful for me but I had a small question in my mind that why did you put seasonality points 53 & what was the main use of it?
HI Paula, It's very Interesting and why don't you provide the source ,If u can provide the source we can practice on the same file and we will get good practice . Kindly post the source file. Thanks
Hi "Paula Guilfoyle " your video is superrr, Thanks for such a helpful video, small request can you also please percentile, median and avg line , it will be very help
Hello everyone! Please, someone, help me. I have next task: it's necessary to analyze some data in excel format and predict in Power BI using Non Seasonal method. Thanks Paula, it's been a good session. Can you please let me know if we can download our forecasted value on a table?
Hello Mam this video was really helpful for me but I had a small question in my mind that why did you put seasonality points 53 & what was the main use of it?
This relates to the number of data points, so I have a 53 week year, which is what I want my seasonality set at
Thank you very much mam

Did u mean when we have longer backward data series, we could get more accurate forecast ?
