Something small to note, you could have ghost ogre'd the appolousa to "negate it" because the atk drop is not cost, it is effect. So if you ogre it, the appo is no longer on the field to lower its atk which is a necessary requirement to negate.
Wouldn't Appolousa negate the Ghost Ogre?
@@finaldivine8235 I'll direct you to the language in the Apollousa "Once per Chain, when your opponent activates a monster effect (Quick Effect): You can make this card lose exactly 800 ATK, and if you do, negate the activation." The "Once per chain" means if you are responding to apollousa negate with ghost ogre, apollousa cannot use its effect again as it is in the same chain link.

Yo I really like this twins deck list. Fixing the too many starters problem and letting you flex harder into hand traps sounds amazing.
Small world is one of the scariest spell cards out there. Took me a bit to actually learn how it works.
Twins is a great deck, bad takes can't discourage me.
how does it work? (serious)
@@egstolfo3554 look up small world quiz. Find distantcoder with Charlie moistcritical. Easier to show than explaining what it does.
The game that was made based on it helped me a lot
@@egstolfo3554 reveal a monster in hand, reveal from deck any monster with one thing in common from this list (attribute, type, level, atk, def). Reveal a second monster from deck to add to hand using the list of the monster you revealed from deck
Example: Any blackwing -> Windrose the elemental lord -> Any blackwing
Windrose does not share anything from that list with any main deck blackwing aside from being a winged beast so I can use him to search any blackwing I want
Small World is by far the best -1 in the game
At one point I played fluffals so much I was playing thru multiple negates and handtraps against meta deck around MD release. Really knowing how and when to do stuff is the only way to win with more fragile strategies because one mistake can set you back more than the meta decks who can get away with more mistakes. Also tbf I also scythe locked people with whale to help out during the time so fun.
Now I barely play so idk what the new decks do or how to play against them sadness
To be fair MD players are bad with using their interruptions so you could be playing a really rouge or bad deck and still win since most of them just negate the first thing that happens.
If you like playing through negates + handtraps you may like Beetroopers. They’re pretty versatile and are almost all extenders
@@dragoon9658 huh......so like Aibdecks in edopro....heh heh

As an Ursarctic player, I can confidently say Live Twin struggles to play through 1 Book of Moon, and I think that's hilarious.
Best thing is if people don't read sepetrion and link summon. Always the best thing ever man
@@Jrpg_guy Man, I can't wait for them to turn Megabilis into a synchro. If Septentrion is Megapolar, and Grand Chariot is Megatanus, then there's one left we've yet to receive!
Ursartic!? You have my respect and sympathy.
I play Orcust but I want to try out Ursarctic because they look so much fun
Ursarctic players exist?
It’s not optimal but it’s fun to do. You can run mask change 2 and activate trouble sunny to bring back red (link) and blue (effect) to get the draw from red and use mask change 2 (discard the draw from red for cost) on blue to bring out darklaw on your opponents turn and still have a pop in hand from using red to bring back the blue (link).
That’s interesting and I happen to have Darklaw sitting in my collection as well xD
Would that work? mask change 2 requires the monster to have a level, and links have rating not level
@@jehr321 you can bring back the main deck monsters from your GY
Good to see you exploring your competitive side again! Good luck in stage 2!
Using Hand Traps(and in some cases Kaijus) as Small World bridges adds a crazy amount of consistency to decks if you plan your picks carefully. If you know what you're doing you can even go up to 60 cards with little to no loss in consistency while having a lot more options for interruptions and board breaking.
Though 40 and 60 card decks have opposing philosophies. 40 tends to want to go "under 40" with draw power and searches that make your starting hand as samey as possible, while 60 wants to max out on gas with as many starters that double as extenders or board breakers as possible, hence those massive multi-engine decks that always seem to have something new up their sleeve after outing the previous one always running into the 50+ range. Even before the Adventure Engine shenanigans most Dragon Piles were massive because of how deep they can go off any of their starters.
No deck is trash when you are the one piloting them!
No. Flower cardians are pretty trash.

Remember when War Rock use to be Meta. Good times..
This copium is on deadly levels
if i may. alot of decks die to 1 interruption because of how the way the game is right now
All meta (and good rogue) decks play at least through 2, some even 3 or, if they are ban worthy, 4.
Goddamn, I put the game down for obvious reasons back in "16-"17, but gameplay like this got me hyped again. I even appreciated the way you explained the card interactions to the point where I was trying to figure out why you didn't have to pay for strike😂
I also really hate when people always commenting midrange deck like Evil Twin or Prank Kids said it only has 1-2 threat on board or it lose to handtrap etc... Comparing their endboard with combo deck that end with multiple negation board..
They really dont understand about consistency, versatility and resilient..
Yes combo deck can make more scary end board but they lack of versatility, less consistent, they lose hard to handtrap.
Meanwhile midrange deck can play many handtrap and power spell like crossout, called by, droplet etc to help with resilient and versatility in addition too how consistent they are with one card combo and easy extender.
what "combo deck" that "lack of versatility, less consistent, they lose hard to handtrap". Are you talking about modern combo deck or combo deck from 7 years ago?
@@sonnguyen-iv7gv Drytron, Adaman, pendulum, d/d/d, synchron, spyral, sunavalon etc
MD is mirroring OCG we know in OCG they prefer slow format/control and midrange because of "maxx C". Thats why there is not many combo deck dominating OCG or MD only combo deck that is can play trough maxx C or play a bit control-ist like VW .. or that of combo deck that can play HT also called by and crossout itself.
"less" doesnt mean bad but compare to midrange deck like prank-kids, swordsoul, evil twin that has many 1 card combo they are more consistent and can play more utility card for versatility
@@rizckygaming i don't really get your idea in "lose hard to handtrap" cause decks you gave as examples don't have that problem, i also don't know why you see them "less consistent" than Twin except spyral, synchron and sunavalon because i haven't played those decks yet.
shouldn't SS and PK be listed as hybrid decks cause they have characteristics of combo and midrange?
First most.. numeron can OTK on a open board by doubling their attack with a quick spell so no leaving yourself open doesn't guarantee nothing.
Yes it did. It guarantees it if you know what you're doing.
Live twins aren't trash if anything they are rogue. They aren't meta and the decks really easy I played it in the TCG when they got sunny and dropped it once I obtain all of swordsoul.
"looks like we're both 3 inchers since we're both running small world" LMAOOOOO caught me off guard
I'm strictly ftp and love buildcrafting, definitely going to give small world a lot of love in D/D, because for some reason I'm still adamant about running the extra deck pendulum bosses and I still don't quite know why
this is not a deck, the win condition is the 22 handtrap/staple in the 40 cards deck. at this point you can make a 50 cards sunavalon with 25 handtrap/staple and the final board is so much better and it's 1 card combo
Dont worry about SW lines, there's a website I think most of everyone uses that just bridges stuff for you in Small World. It also has a nifty quiz for finding bridges which is really fun
I absolutely love the fact that you highlight Small World as well. I have been experimenting as well but it never occurred to me that I can put Kisikil Frost at 3 and vanilla Kisikil at 1 for the same reasons. Well done.
EDIT: I would still run at least 2 vanilla Ki-Sikil. It's hard to play Forbidden Droplet otherwise.
2 Kisikil, 3 Lila, 2 Frost, 1 Treat is working pretty well for me. 3 Frost seems a bit overkill.
@@quackodemon9822 I ended up going to 3 Ki-sikils and 2 Frosts. It really helps from getting out of a bad hand. Yes, bad hands still happen on these decks in Master Duel apparently. Not too frequent, but it still happens.
I guess "MetaGargler22" can't play the game without DPE.... judging by his pfp Kek w

Pretty cool share! Having fun building things lately so more food for thought
This is the best live twin deck ive seen. Great job.
I thought i was the only one who calls Apollousa " "Apollo U.S.A"🤣
Dkayed calls it that too.
It's clearly not pronounced like that
Good stuff yo! Very well played in this
Consider the following: play number 41 and some parallel exceeds as you are never making zenmains
Evil twin is not trash, if I remember correctly they have a one card combo and don´t rely on the normal summon like prankids (I was wrong evil twin rely on their normal summon unless they have an extender in hand)
Being so consistent allows you to put like 20 handtraps with no problem and it´s harder to play around unkown disruptions rather than playing around a established board which you have information about
Also you can make your oponent to get nervous if you play with the buttons during his turn so he will do alternative combos to play safe or even better, waste resources just to get information about your hand
So is not a trash deck,
It´s an amazing deck
Maybe is not meta because it can not exploit at his best the adventure token engine or doesn´t have broken cards like auroradon
But it is one of the best rougue decks out there
Correct. Twins combo only needing 1 card from the 2 basic twins and 2 spell searcher for the twins, basically 12 cards in your deck for a 1 card combo, not to mention the 2 special summon extender if your twins normal summon effect is negated. And you can just fill in any backrow removal or hand traps for the rest of the deck.
Also not to mention the drawing power from the deck is insanely good too, increasing the chance to draw those handtraps from the deck
Evil twins rely on their normal summon unless you open an extender lol. If the deck didn't rely on its normal summon it would run adventure and thats not the case
@@weebpotato2240 I see thanks for the information It has happen to me that after negating their normal summon they continued the combo by using an extender
Once I finish building the deck I´ll test it by myself
@@dohnaseek If I´m not wrong they end with 5 or 6 cards in hand and 1 destruction on the field
At the best scenario that´s like 7 disruptions (most of the time I think is going to be less but still how do you play around the unkown? raigeki? dark ruler? droplets? lightning strike? none of them can hit the hand)
dude, this is exactly what i needed, thnx mate
I’ve never lost you your deck, I’ve dueled it a lot in diamond and plat they aren’t the best decks but I can see how you can win
looking at that deck list hurt my soul. 33 URs ouch.
Playing with Evil Twin is a nightmare, since they get hit and stopped by almost every single hand trap out there and since they don't have negates themselves, you have to have a bunch of the UR generic hand traps yourself...
Somehow i knew this was gonna be Live Twins before clicking on this lol
Tier lists don’t mean shit in the face of being good
Small world looks like a really complicated card with it's wording but once you use it it's actually pretty easy to use.
theres web tool for it. You can see all the bridges once you remember bridges its all muscle memory
Evil Twins can handle a lot of negates. Been using them since watching your video and I've been able to get through so many more negates than in my normal decks
I see you use the high level evil twin. That's pretty cool since no one really uses it.
It's nice to have. You can send it to the GY with Trouble Sunny early and summon it from the GY with 2 Links, so in cases where you can't use one twin to rez another or you're out of Trouble Sunnys it can be a great last-ditch boss.
No matter what deck u say u like there will be someone who says it's trash even if it's tier 0. I run dragonmaids with the minimum rokkets needed for that engine (6 cards I think) so good 1st turn ends on sheo, barrelload savage, and heavenly spheres
" It's a small world after all " KEKW
Love live twins, i had the funniest match against sky strikers by out-grinding them because triple tactics
As an Eldlich player, evil twins are so ez to defeat. They die to skill drain, gozen match, only be one, solemn strike, solemn judgement etc lol. Pretty much the whole deck counters them.
Most decks fall to skill drain, there can only be one, gozen match... Etc in a best of one format. Well without back row hate or ways to play around d them. Its why so many people want flood gates like skill drain banned. Its also a very easy deck to make and incredibly easy deck to play hence it being part of the meta for so long.
I just played with evil twins against drytron going second. Sadly he made an indestructible Apollusa as if he knew I’d play Evil Twins and I couldn’t do a single thing. Sucks sometimes
It’s quiet common to IP into Apo as quick effect is disrupt monster effect. The protection is nice but not the main goal. Tbh you are lucky if you can even play the game going second against Drytron negate fest.
i'm pretty sure any deck would have a hard time with an indestructible apollousa with 3 or 4 negates on the field... that's why i put kaijus on my twin deck and pray to RNjesus that i either draw a kaiju or droplet on the second turn in that kind of situation
I assume you dont have any handtrap or droplet then you have many starter and extender.
If you manage to have 2 twin on the field(normal summon but not activate, then ss extender from hand) it better to go into zeus play first bc apo only once per chain then you can play your live twin home after zeus do the job to go into evil twin usual play
@@MrAlexjmercer dark ruler no more..
Every deck has a direct counter. Doesn't make you any less of a great duelist.
Any well built deck, regardless of archetype, can play through 2-3 interruptions with modern handtraps and anti-handtrap cards.
The problem is more like once you have those modern cards, how you balance it out to get 1) good consistency and 2) effective ways to end the game.
Live twin back then didn't have trouble sunny, so it struggled to end the game and had to go through a grind. That's also why sometimes people add golden lord engine to the deck.
But to say Live twin is bad because it can't play through interruptions? It just goes to show that the person doesn't know how to build decks.
Small world has been a huge save for me since konami really likes giving me handtraps going 1st while starters with no disruptions going 2nd.It's a pain climbing ranks with horrible rng
The problem I notice when playing against this deck is that an end board of a single monster is just not viable in today's game state. So many times i've went second and once I called by the boss, or dust the back row, there's really only so much that can be done to recover especially with a deck that can combo after a few interruptions, to me it just doesn't do enough to be considered good.
There is actually a website for small world where you can upload a ydk and it shows you every small world combo
Website name?

Id rather ogre network
@@gunsblazing You won, so you made the right play. i don't understand the backseat duelist criticism. Its like some commenters are mad you won with logic and execution.
I think I've forced two Evil Twins player to scoop by using Raigeki on Sunny to force them into tributing her and summons the pair in the GY, only to have them destroyed when Raigeki resolves.
Not saying it's bad, but when you get a proper counter, their tagging gimmicks can be easily walked over.
Random Raigeki's are why you should run Challenge at all times with this deck, now that Crossout is limited.
Although every deck needs its negators some don't even need them when you can get past them, Earth machine, Evil twin, Tri brigade are examples of good decks that get past negators with a proper hand or certain habdtraps.
I recently had a Griffin, Nibiru, Baronessa, Yan zi trap and Swordsoul trap thrown at me in the same turn with Earth machine without negate or destruction and I still didn't stop xd
Never fear the one who keep up with the meta
Fear the one who decided to master one deck they know what to do in every situation
I've been having a lot of fun with these twins since you sold me on them and with these alternative builds i keep learning new ways of playing it, the droplet interactions is so cool. Have you tried to build a go 2 variation?
you can build a going second twins deck using 3x droplet, 2x-3x evenly, or some people teching 2x-3x DRNM
as far as i know that almost every deck can be a going second deck with those cards i mentioned
@@dmsalf5717 thanks! I run pankratops as a removal tool before going into my twins but I will try with your recommendations, however isn't DRNM more of a TCG tech right now against slplights/mathmech/tearlaments rather than a master duel one?
Do people not understand that Evil Twin is literally the new Tri-Brigade with its small engine and plenty of space for hand traps. And other tech cards. 💁
Tri-brigade is much stronger. Twins are too reliant of their normal summon and have access to much worse pool of cards to splash into or be splashed in (compare unchained to zoo). Not to mention it's also much more flexible and will only get better as new good winged beast links are released.
Tri-Brigade is stronger and never went away so IDK what you mean by the "new."
Lmfao *"MetaGargler"*
You know after playing against Live Twin alot the person that said it loses to 1 interrupt is stupid. I can open 3 interrupts and they still manage to end on Sunny with several hand traps. Then even if you break the board they still easily rebuild the same board over and over.
Haven’t started playing Twins yet but the deck is def capable. That guys was a clown lol. Good games! The small world tech looks interesting (still new to ygo)

1:40 you could’ve alternatively Ogre’d the Appo and that would’ve dealt with it 👍🏻 if Appo can’t remove the ATK while face up, it doesn’t negate. Definitely played too heavily into Ash on Kis

It sounds like there’s a lot of room echo / distance between you and your mic
flame bufferlo pretty much bridges everything in the deck, just a heads up, even including paralel exceed
It was actually a misplay not using a ogre on numeron network and here is why: Limiter removal has recently been popping up in a lot of numeron decks and while yes he has to hard draw it do you really want to play the: Does he have it? game while yes he probebly doesn't have it he might not even play it but on the flip side if he does play it and drew it you are dead at that point and none of your hand traps can interact with that. And this might sound like a would've could've scenario but limiter removal is at 3 and numeron players are running it so better be save then sorry.
This was awesome. I bet you cant get a game win with only normal monsters and non effect xyz/synchro/link mons.
Honestly, it's frustrating when people say "Your deck is trash" but completely fumble when all they have is DPE pass.
DPE pass beats this whole deck lmao. There's a reason ET never reach meta, and is only a 1 note deck that sometimes top a regional.

Kind of but the deck that isn't meta isn't trash its just trash in the current meta. That being said some rogue decks have really good matchup with some meta decks while being complete trash against other meta decks.
