I remember being offered by a funeral director to be a funeral singer, but I turned it down. Just the idea of singing sad songs near a dead person wasn't exactly appealing to me lol.
I've never heard of that. I remember in Friends they catered a funeral. Lol.
Vamanos Ninja it’s common for funeral directors to hire funeral singers, albeit creepy in my opinion. As for that Friends episode, I remember it well lol. The wife standing by the piano singing showtunes at her husband’s funeral 😂😂😂

His name was Tony Saitta. The band was called Tony Siatta and the Echoes. Idina used to talk in her concerts about her experiences with them.

Same thing happened to me playing piano at church! I wasn’t facing the crowd and the soloist kept singing so I didn’t realize this man went unresponsive in the pew and I didn’t know what to do when I figured it out so I just followed what the singer did.

See when she said "that's how I got thicker skin" which is what kids these days need... because the term "snowflake" is real because parent's are just being their kids' best friend and not their parent.. and we need to let them play sports where you actually lose and not "everyone is a winner" type of sport.
