I purely was looking for this as it came out on the 18th October 1997 on ITV at 6:15-7:15 and my brother who is now 18 was born just after this episode finished... Blind date was on when my brother was born.
i remember giggling at the way the referee would say whistle. it would sound like he said vwissle. The first girl jumped the gun, she should have gotten a false start penalty

She clearly missed the yellow... but to be fair I'd be pretty pissed too.
As a kid I was ecstatic when the lady in pink won but looking back at this as an adult , I can see why the yellow lady was pissed!
