Just ordered this Design Essentials system. I normally always go to the salon. This will be my first time trying a silk press at home. Quartine struggles lol. Girl your hair is beautiful! And you made it look so easy. Wish me luck 💇
@@ukachinikki It actually did a great job. No where near as nice as the poster, but I was satisfied with the results. I also found out Design Essentials is a black owned business so I'm all about that! I'm out of hiding and back at the salon again but for at home wash days, its definitely worth a try 😊
I think the full system is necessary to make the hair softer/looser and easier to straighten. Your hair was still a little kinky before you blow dried, making it more difficult to sleek.
My hair is type 3c/4a and that thermal creme made my hair silky straight in one pass on 360 degrees. Only thing I don't like is that my hair has much less body than it usually does after straightening with other protectants.
I only have the shake to activate spray and just use some regular cheap shampoo but with that spray it works great on my hair and I have dry hair I was shocked 😮
Deb Iseeu sorry I meant to say I only got these 2 because I felt like they were the most important products when doing a blow out. I understand using the entire system sometimes, but I also understand companies just adding in products you really dont need to achieve good results just for profit. U know? thanks for watching!❤❤
I tried both products today for the first time and am blown away (pun intended) I must do a review on my channel. My hair dried in 1/4 the time and was silky smooth in one iron pass!!!
I use the whole product line and I didn't get good results at all. I have 4C hair. I don't know if its because of the blow dryer or flat iron I used. I'm try it again this Sunday.
Lakisha President I actually just blowdried my hair a few weeks ago and used the spray and cream together before blowdrying and it came out much better. I don't know why but it did!
Jai Marii Yeah it is a whole system designed to work together so that may make a difference. But did you not like your results or felt you would have gotten better results? I couldn't really tell because the video kinda ended abruptly nor do we know if you curled it afterwards to see what that looked like as well.
Jai Marii def check them out. They add a lot of moisture compared to other shampoos and rinse out conditioners I've used... although I've not used Mielle yet. Nice video! Your hair is gorgeous 😍

Hi guys! If you’re interested in getting the entire collection, curlbox currently has the entire collection for $20.

You may want to use a little less..I usually have this issue with any protectant I use
I agree. My hair had no body

I would have put the cream on before blow drying. I found that it works best. But good job.
You should have used the full system.
No just these 2 items.
oh,,,ok it still came good looks good😉

Deb Iseeu what is the full systen
I personally like the spray best. It's the only step I use.
The last time I blew out my hair I used both products together and I loved the results.
The whole line works best together..1..2..3 and 4..

Since you didn't buy the shampoo and conditioner, what did you use?
Ms.Tee Mielle shampoo and deep conditioner. I think I will buy the shampoo and conditioner at a later date just to see if there's a diff❤

Conair yellowbird!

@Stephanie Dickinson next time I'm going to blow dry a little longer to get it more straight with the dryer, also I think I need to use more product
I used the whole lavender line I think the cream was pointless the conditioner is magic in a bottle
Glam Beauty Everything's different for everyone! I will def try the conditioner out tho!❤
how can you really say, its a system. 30 year vet, asking for a friend.
I totally agree with you!! I wasn't about to buy all just the conditioner and the silk press lotion.. 👏 👏
I tried to get into this video. You made too many bad faces for me. LoL couldn't tell if you like the product or not when actually using it.
