That off duty cop’s wife on the 911 call had me tearing up. The fear in her voice and urgency to help her husband, and then he gets shot and killed on his own front lawn being mistaken for the bad guy, omg that is a all around horrible tragedy. The cop that killed him I’m sure will forever live with that guilt. How terrible.
The Cracker Barrel story is so incredibly sad. The first 911 recording of the wife, you could hear in her voice she’s used to his rage and honestly didn’t ACTUALLY BELIEVE he would come in shooting… I’m also appalled that her brother tried to sue cracker barrel for “not protecting them” … I’ve worked at restaurants and food establishments in a variety of roles in my life and absolutely NEVER have I ever been trained for the job to include how to handle a customer that comes in guns blazing… that’s not on the restaurant at all. I am sorry for the tragedy, but that’s clearly just grieving family needing SOMEONE to blame and punish, bc the actual culprit is not available. Just so so sad… those poor little girls must have been so confused and scared as they passed. It’s just sickening and I hope he’s getting his due in whatever hell 😢
I know Cracker Barrel couldn't of done anything about it , it wasn't their fault at all , it's very sad that had to happen to that poor lady and her girls , what a sick in the head jerk , he got off too easy !!!!

Honest to God that call irritated me!!!!! The 911 operator was not very nice! " stop talking" but continued to ask questions and tells her to relax!!!! How can someone relax in that damn situation.

I don't know you or why you were in that behavioral center but the way you handled that horrible situation and stood up for your friend I don't believe you even belong in a place like that even though if you hadn't been there nobody would have known of they're evil neglect. Thank you young lady I pray 🙏 you find peace and happiness with a long fulfilled life ahead of you 🙏 ❤️

Wait… they SUED Cracker Barrel for what now? Was there a code they swore by when they were hired to protect all life should an unhinged psycho come shooting inside the establishment?? No? I hope that got thrown out. I get they are saddened by the loss of an entire family, but what in the world are they thinking? Smh. Unacceptable. A go fund me for the funeral costs would have sufficed. Suing an eating establishment for the wrongdoing of another person is stupid af.
The wife sounds messed up and shame on her for trying to down play how dangerous he could be. If she was married to him she knows what he is capable of. If she didn't think it was serious she would have never called just for his "circling" the restaurant.
@@caitlinowens8023 idk if I can agree with you. From what we know, he has never shot at anyone before, let alone in a public place. She couldn’t possibly have predicted he would do that. There’s no history of that. Even if he was violent to her and the kids behind closed doors, she likely felt safer and secure in a public setting. However seeing him circle the restaurant, I believe she was scared for herself and kids to LEAVE the restaurant. Not that he would come back in with a firearm to kill. I think her call was in hopes the police would come and remove him from the parking lot so that her and the children could leave safely. I imagine her predictions were him kidnapping them on their way to the car. I think you’re wrong on this one.
When I read up on it, apparently the basis for the suit was that active shooters are a "foreseeable" possibility and the restaurant should have had policies in place for such situations as well as the fact the manager told the mother "we don't get involved in domestic situations" when she requested her and the two kids be allowed to hide in their walk-in cooler.
They probably needed more information or something like that...if they didn't talk to her she still would die or not? They probably should tell her to flee!...

I was glad you included the call reporting the Crumbley's. The first time I heard that in the trial I was very surprised hearing the 911 operator's reaction. EVERYONE anywhere near there knew about them being on the run! I live about 90 minutes from there and even in this area everyone knew they were running! That woman needs to be fired, trained better or something! As an added note, I am glad they were found guilty! When they knew their son had mental issues they should have done everything different! Saying they decided to buy a weapon to use target shooting as a way to do something together was lame! Shooting at the range is not unusual around here but when they had multiple ways in their home to lock the gun yet not doing it?? When my husband passed I decided to sell all of our guns because our 11 year old son had so many issues to work through. Even though I loved target shooting & could have done so with him that felt like a stupid chance to take! James had other guns they could have shot together, why buy one with that kind of power, why not take him home when the school requested it that morning or at the least check his backpack, etc... Maybe even, novel thought, make him an appointment with a psychiatrist back many months before this when he was begging them to-especially when he was hearing voices and doing things like storing the head of a baby bird in the home's freezer??? I could go on forever with the things that happened unnecessarily, mainly the loss of 4 beautiful children, wounding of several others in the school and the trauma of hundreds of children and adults in the school and all the family members and friends of the affected/lost. Our state has suffered several widely known tragedies in the time since this, all unusual for this area. I love my native state but wonder what is wrong with people here... Sorry for writing a book but thank you for covering this. I truly hope this will help that situation. 💕
Are you blaming the victim for the husband's gun attack? Perhaps she decided to use a public space with their children present in order to minimize the chance that she would be injured, something that could easily happen in a private conversation. No one, no matter how angry, gets to take their rage out on others in a murderous rampage.
Suing a restaurant because they didn't act as your bodyguard? Sounds like the family just wanted money, they didn't care about the actual situation. Those restaurant employees will be traumatized for the rest of their lives.......

THANK YOU FOR MAKING SUCH A LONG VIDEO 😃 The young lady who was trying to help her friend in the behavioral health center was incredible. So many crossed wires could have occurred, but she was on top of everything. It was heartbreaking to hear her plea for reform in the center. Sadly, this goes on everywhere. No one cares. I don't understand why. It takes a lot of energy from someone having to work in a behavioral health center. It's not for everyone, and they shouldn't just hire warm bodies, but they do. I can see someone having a bad day, but to consistently neglect patients and accuse them of making things up - this wouldn't fly in regular hospitals or ritzy rehabs. Only money makes people care. The woman whose husband was shot instead of the suspect - my god, that is horrifying. I am not going to comment whether he should have gone outside or opened the door. It doesn't matter in the end. I just hope she has/had an incredible support network. I can't even imagine. The airplane with people trapped inside. He could hear them screaming. The helpless feeling during a catastrophe will damage someone to the core. I hate that I do this, but I sometimes wonder what would happen if my house caught on fire and my pets refused to come outside, or I couldn't get them all outside. My brain goes full on video reel in my head where I am seeing and feeling the fear and pain of each of them, I end up bawling just imagining it. I feel deeply with animals, but any living thing being alone and scared when they are dying is terrifying.
I dont think any CHILD should be gifted, given, or be able to get to.a gun!!! CHILDREN just don't have the maturity to handle something so deadly and permanent...ADULTS CAN BARELY handle that kind of responsibility and some cant!!! I'm sry but I think you have to really evaluate your parenting choices if you are giving children guns!!!
The employees should be suing his family for putting them in danger and now obviously PTSD from his actions! That makes more sense than the opposite, right?

Apparently the lawsuit stemmed from the business not having a plan in place for active shooters and because the woman had asked the manager to hide her and her daughters in their walk-in cooler and the manager said no, we won't get involved in a domestic situation. Not saying that makes the lawsuit valid, just adding context.

That rude 911 dispatcher for the cracker barrel incident is in the wrong profession. She expected the caller to stay calm when she's losing her own temper & getting annoyed.
I'm never happy when a child dies. But in the second call, the Cracker Barrel, I was actually relieved the girl passed away too. I cannot imagine how her life would be if she would survive. That pain must be unbearable. Poor children, poor mom and poor people who had to go through hell because of what the "father" did. He isn't a daddy, he is only biological material. Nothing more. He traumatized so many people. As for the brother suing the restaurant ... It is wrong. But I can imagine the action though. Since the guy who shot everyone is dead, they need to lash out to someone else. If the guy would have lived, they would not sued the restaurant. It is just an action of someone who really does not have any straws to hold on to and he is grabbing to prevent himself from drowning in his pain. I think people should understand that. It has nothing to do with the restaurant or the people working there. It is just the pain making him crazy. I think in the coming decades he sees it like that too.
I looked it up and apparently it stemmed from them saying that Cracker Barrel should have had policies in place for an active shooter and they told her they do not get involved in domestic situations when she requested that they allow her and her daughters to hide in the walk-in cooler
The amount of times a 911 dispatcher completely disrespects or uses nasty tones for people who are obviously freaking out just pisses me off everytime. Why even get the job. Sad keffer past. My question is why did the center not call asap ? It took a patient calling to get ambulance there before staff called. They took too long to call they should be held accountable for this death. Justice for keffer this is sad. Idk yet what happened I’m still watching but commenting as I watch. The center needs to be charged
That poor teenager! The staff on hand should be held accountable for neglect of a patient AND the behavioral center should also be held accountable for wrongful death. She had gallbladder issues that went untreated. The center should have taken her to hospital to have gallbladder removed. Sounds like the behavioral center supervisor did not want to do the paperwork for hospital admission. Medicaid would have covered the surgery. Not a penny out of Behavioral center.
I live in Newport News, and I remember that one case. Sad to say, I feel like NNBC should have been accountable for sure. Some of the resident staff think mental/behavioral issues are a joke. That one particular center has had some issues over the years.
I completely agree the head nurse should be held responsible and monitored thru investigation and retraining... But we should do the same - or more - to law enforcement that end lives due to negligence or worse, instead of a few days leave. Our priorities are all screwed up .
That facility needs to be shut down they should’ve sent her to hospital immediately when her complaints started not ignored for almost a week. I certainly hope family sues and wins as they should. Even if they felt she was lying better to get her help than to ignore costing her life. She was there to get better not pass due to negligence
It's way past time for a major upgrade in the 911 system. It would be so easy to program all cell phones to immediately start video recording front and back camera simultaneously with phone audio sensitivity Adjusting automatically. As soon as you make that call you aim the phone at the situation and the 911 operator can see what's happening and can transfer that video directly to the police officers. And the recording would be available for court review if charges are brought. Just a realization alone that that is what's taking place will cut down on massive amounts of Crime. And would save lives!

It's bad, and it's something that needs to be worked on. Anyone can be an addict or have mental health issues, everyone is 1 day away, and you're treated like garbage. I'm on disability and often get treated like, "oh be careful, she might blow!" Everypne just have some compassion you don't know what that person is going through.❤
I'm sorry you have to deal with all of that. I'm pretty much in the same boat, so I completely understand the pain. You're not alone, and hopefully, you come across more empathetic people. You deserve it.❤

My heart literally SANK when he said the cops shot her husband. Jesus. That's so horrible!!!

yep, officer sounds very upset on the interview. can't imagine how he can deal with this now
Can I get a time stamp 🙏🏽@@Simbochka7
Idk how some of these dispatchers even got their job🤦🏻♀️🥴
I totally agree!
Absolutely!! I agree 1000000%!!!
I say this same thing on every single video of true 911 calls!!
5 year old Elijah is a true superhero! I was struggeling not to cry, to be honest! I am a mom myself and this call was just heartwarming.
His teeth! 😂😊
The Cracker Barrel story is so incredibly sad. The first 911 recording of the wife, you could hear in her voice she’s used to his rage and honestly didn’t ACTUALLY BELIEVE he would come in shooting…
I’m also appalled that her brother tried to sue cracker barrel for “not protecting them” … I’ve worked at restaurants and food establishments in a variety of roles in my life and absolutely NEVER have I ever been trained for the job to include how to handle a customer that comes in guns blazing… that’s not on the restaurant at all.
Its also sad that he died! Now he can't get punished! 😡👹🤮
@@loveistheanswer5924 I mean, he got back exactly what he gave others
Pretty much came to say this. Unbelievable on all counts 😔
That lawsuit won’t go thru so don’t get too upset. It is really frustrating tho
I know Cracker Barrel couldn't of done anything about it , it wasn't their fault at all , it's very sad that had to happen to that poor lady and her girls , what a sick in the head jerk , he got off too easy !!!!
13:15 - "Maam stop talking" while proceeding to interrogate with question after question.
I know she was a twat
His teeth are knocked out? Why are his teeth knocked out. Last year he was walking thru Raleigh and stopped by the cops - he told em . I’m not a peeper. Wth?!!
Honest to God that call irritated me!!!!! The 911 operator was not very nice! " stop talking" but continued to ask questions and tells her to relax!!!! How can someone relax in that damn situation.
"Calm down!"
As the dispatcher is freaking out more than her
To the young girl who called 911 for her friend at the behavioral center I hope you know how good of a person you truly are your a true hero ❤️ in my opinion and by you telling law enforcement about the centers cruel neglect that caused your friends death you possibly saved future lives if that medical facility isn't shut down. I don't know you or why you were in that behavioral center but the way you handled that horrible situation and stood up for your friend I don't believe you even belong in a place like that even though if you hadn't been there nobody would have known of they're evil neglect. Thank you young lady I pray 🙏 you find peace and happiness with a long fulfilled life ahead of you 🙏 ❤️
She was amazing
I hope she gets any help she might need for he trauma bc I wouldn't trust any healthcare worker after that situation...I already tread on lightly. She was amazing 🤩
The fact they sued the restaurant makes me feel less sorry for them. I mean grief is grief , but this is greedy and unconscionable.
I heard this one before and I got a weird look on my face. They were at crackle barrel not a police station.
The first one annoyed the eff outta me. Why do yall keep making her talk on the phone JUST COME THERE! JEEZ! 🤦♀️
seriously tho, the lady acknowledged it was “a suspicious nature”
@MariJohnson-ek3bx right! It was driving me nuts! The poor lady could barely talk
I was thinking the samething omg hurry get there already dang
They probably needed more information or something like that...if they didn't talk to her she still would die or not? They probably should tell her to flee!...
Her talking to the police doesn't delay them getting there
The three people and dog all alive after the crash was worth watching this. Thank you!
Elijah 5 years old calls 911 gives lots of information, opens the door for the police officer to help his mum. So happy he got his Super Hero Cape that he richly deserves.
37:22 them describing agonal breathing made my blood boil. That is such a distinct sound and it means they are going to die. So disgusted with that entire team.
Yes you are so right! It should have been obvious that this was a major problem. Aside from ignoring her complaints as pretending. It's not for them to make that decision! Oxygen
I hope they got fired it took another patient to ring for emergency call lazy staff why do they work at these places when they lack in caring for patients 6 days in pain her body body totally shut down because of their neglect to her fire the lot that worked that shift disgraceful what they had her go through disgusting useless staff they are there in the wrong job probably not even qualified for that type of work to ignore any of her symptoms that's why she died coz they left her that way poor girl rip beautiful 🙏💔
Yeah you could literally hear the death rattle on the call when the nurse is speaking. And anyone who has ever worked as a nursing assistant or cna has heard that sound and know what it means. She was covering her ass
Ugh I thought the same thing, what a disgrace
Omg Elijah is a little boss! My wife has epilepsy too and my son used to be so scared because the shaking and the look on her face while seizing. Elijah handled that like a champ and I got choked up listening to him talk on the phone while at the same time handling his little brother. So cool.
I agree
Omg the dispatcher on the second call was nasty n rude as hell. I get it can be frustrating but if you cant be sympathetic with people in an emergency situation then you have no business handling these types of calls.
No matter what time i got in, went to bed, got up, or just walked by their room I always peeked into my kids rooms.

@fairladykd6734 I totally agree with you. I did the same thing. Even more frequently, when they were a couple of days or months old , in order to check if they were breathing correctly . I feed-breasted both of them on the rocking- chair. It was the best time of my life ( and peaceful-delightful moments for my babies). Singing lullabies, singing. .. I did not know I was able to do such things, because I had spent 18 years of physical( torture), mental abuse as a child and in my teenager years., because of my "so-called parents". I thought I would do the same things. BUT, I DID NOT. Now, my 28 years old son is a happy physiotherapist , my daughter , 25 is studying and finishing her 3rd year as a PD-HD. @@eveivyprunette655 So sorry for your childhood but oh so happy for you and your children's childhood! I LOVE France - only got to see Paris but it was magical. Best wishes
That's an absolute damn shame. You call the police for help and they kill you instead of the assailant.
Time stamp pls
At a child's birthday party is not a good time to tell your spouse that you're leaving them.
Ummm, no it sure isn't, but it's also not a good place to go on a shooting rampage. I'd say that's even worse than announcing you want a divorce.
Maybe she felt it would be safe, she obviously didn't feel safe alone and for good reason!
Are you blaming the victim for the husband's gun attack? Perhaps she decided to use a public space with their children present in order to minimize the chance that she would be injured, something that could easily happen in a private conversation.
No one, no matter how angry, gets to take their rage out on others in a murderous rampage.

Those restaurant employees will be traumatized for the rest of their lives.......
The restaurant employees should sue his family for not controlling their family member and traumatizing them. It makes a much sense
Geez the “ma’am I’m not asking if your going home” she was very insensitive that’s so unfortunate when this happens to people who are afraid and need help “try talk to me not him” such attitude ugh

THANK YOU FOR MAKING SUCH A LONG VIDEO 😃
The young lady who was trying to help her friend in the behavioral health center was incredible.
I heard of that first case of the photographer. I can’t remember what I watched it on. All of them are saddening and horrific. 😢
20:19 wtf were the Cracker Barrel employees supposed to do..?!
The employees should be suing his family for putting them in danger and now obviously PTSD from his actions! That makes more sense than the opposite, right?

@@nikkinicol78I see a few of you are slow as hell and insanely ignorant.
When in an abusive relationship that ur trying to leave, and in this case they were separated already, u meet in public places, ESPECIALLY when ur breaking news to the abuser like leaving/divorce because it is safer for everyone and unlikely they will react in any way this bad. Nobody, even those who deal with narcissists and abusive partners can tell the future n read their mind to know how fucking extreme they will react and how far they will go. It didn’t matter where she did it, the same outcome would have happened as he brought the shotgun that she had no idea he had for a reason. As if she somehow should have prepared for this insanely sad and horrific situation and had others in mind instead of the safety of her two daughters is the dumbest shit I’ve ever heard. How was the 911 operator for the Austin shooting not fired???? How do you hear that CLEARLY robotic voice and think it's a REAL call??? They should be held just as criminally responsible for his death as the officers who shot him, because they're the one who sent them there in the first place. When they clearly should've been able to tell that it was a PRANK call. Like what the actual fuck?????
I believe the robotic voice is a voice over the real voice to hide the identity.
I've heard this call before and I swear they said something along those lines. Because it was a minor or etc
No it was the gun happy cop and his own fault, jumping in the car and taking off
Either way when the cops got there and saw that it was a fake call they shouldn't have done what they did. So in the end they're both responsible

damn why wasnt the national guard at cracker barrell?!?! sorry very sad situation but come on now
Apparently the lawsuit stemmed from the business not having a plan in place for active shooters and because the woman had asked the manager to hide her and her daughters in their walk-in cooler and the manager said no, we won't get involved in a domestic situation. Not saying that makes the lawsuit valid, just adding context.
Suing Cracker Barrel is wild! The husband came in and traumatized everyone in there. They had to see little girls shot. How just how were they supposed to protect them from that monster. I don’t get it 🥺

Can you imagine telling a woman she cannot hide her kids in a cooler because you dont get involved in domestic situations that are already actively happening, then having them all gunned down inside a restaurant instead. Didn't even secure the building to keep a possible shooter outside. Everyone heard this woman say she was leaving him and immediately assumed she made her bed and should lay in it. Didn't know her story or how she possibly only refused to leave the building together. No one knows what was said. He got exactly what he wanted being shot by police
Wow any wonder he wanted to sue them, everyone bagging him out 😢
I thought there had to be more to story, I must of been making a cuppa if that was in the vid opps.

That rude 911 dispatcher for the cracker barrel incident is in the wrong profession. She expected the caller to stay calm when she's losing her own temper & getting annoyed.
This is a great collection of 911 calls!!
Damn that fake 911 call was extremely suspicious
This was BRUTAL. Not Cracker Barrel’s fault though…like, at all.

This family sueing is disgusting!! Only for the money I suppose!
Omg. 17 years old! 😢so sad and horrible. Thank God the other people inside that place called 911. Wow.
I love these please keep posting more one of my favorite RUclipsrs
The amount of times a 911 dispatcher completely disrespects or uses nasty tones for people who are obviously freaking out just pisses me off everytime. Why even get the job. Your Job is literally 'Keep person safe and calm and get as much info as you CAN'. not "im going to be so annoyed the entire time and treat them like shit"
So the woman who got drugged and almost had her newborn kidnapped got no justice? That woman poses as a respectable citizen who cares about people who are homeless, but commits an unspeakable crime and gets her teenage daughter to help her. She wouldn't want me on her jury.
The comments about the 17 years old opoid girl is not breathing. The rasping sound of breathing is a sign that her brain is dying from lack of oxygen! She should have been given mouth to mouth and oxygen. They basically killed her morons! Ignoring symptoms of not feeling well well that dhe was faking is insane. It is not for them to decide this she should have been sent to hospital.

Sometimes the dispatchers make the situation worse. People are calling for help, help them in a decent tone or get a new job. Wtf is wrong with them? These people are in scary, terrifying, crazy situations and the dispatchers sound so rude sometimes then there are amazing dispatchers that do great and keep the callers calm and sound like they care. Wish they were all like that! Great job to those ones.
That 911 operator is either young or simply just inexperienced.
She tells the poor terrified young girl who's hiding, to "calm down" lol Yet, it's HER that should calm down!
I certainly hope someone coached her on the ability to remain calm herself.
Also using a little empathy and still mainitaining control of the call is possible!!❤
Yo, most of these 911 operators are so disrespectful. They're calling you because they need help and you're gonna speak to them condescendingly and give them attitude? Who trains these people cuz it must be the same team that trains the DMV or municipal employees. Same energy

The second call had the absolute 1 of the worst dispatch employees that I've heard.
37:17 the 2nd 911 operator with breathing so heavily in the phone how could he even hear what they were saying😮
How disinterested was the call handler regarding the school shooting information. She had a pure attitude from the get go.b
I wish the video would have stated how Wheetabix cereal helped serve as the final evidence in Rikki's murder.
It did. The contents of his stomach proved that he died in the morning and not on the way home from school.
This is just so tragic!!!

The Crumbley's were both convicted, a 1st for parents being held responsible for buying their troubled son a gun.
omg. how does a parent let a 5 year old and a 3 year old walk through the park unaccompanied????
It's way past time for a major upgrade in the 911 system. It would be so easy to program all cell phones to immediately start video recording front and back camera simultaneously with phone audio sensitivity Adjusting automatically. As soon as you make that call you aim the phone at the situation and the 911 operator can see what's happening and can transfer that video directly to the police officers. And the recording would be available for court review if charges are brought. Just a realization alone that that is what's taking place will cut down on massive amounts of Crime. And would save lives!
