Was ein Pfusch, wie kann man solche vergammelten Federn weiter verwenden? Da wäre mir das vermessen zu teuer.Wenn alles neu auch die Domlager fährt sich dann auch schön ruhig
Its thesame problem as my S60 I just get the parts I hope I can to it, It look easy a little question how about alignment of the wheel? It should be torch 45 digree and 90 digree. That what they said.
If you only replace shocks and put them back as shown in the video, you will be fine. Wheel alignment is something you should do from time to time anyway so it's not a bad idea doing it after such a repair.
@@АндрейЮров-м2ъ Thanks! so the bolts under the hood 35 and the 2 bolts near the wheel 70, and then there is one nut for the stabilizer is that one also 70nw/m? Or just ''enough' tightness?
@@dion3306for stabilizer i really don t know, i used electric pistol. Upper bolt that is for 21 socket 70 nm and other 3 screw that are located near it on the cup 35 nm
Hey! I have a 2005 V70, i have just changed the top bearing. It rubber already was out. My issue is that I still hear some noise. It's like the shock doesn't get absorbed and the front right (passenger side) top bearing continuously gets hit by the road cracks. I have checked several times, nothing is lose, the shock absorber is not leaking, the spring is not broken. What can be the issue?
Some body needs to learn how to hose off the under carriage and wheel wells every so often. My s80 looks as new under by just an spray down removing all that dirt grime. WAY easier to service.
Good job man, it was pleasure to watch, keep it up.
Any job with springs is scary af ☠️
I have to agree, even with better compressing tools you better not stand in front of the spring
Great video. Very helpful. Thank you very much.
Thanks!

Any joy with the lift kit for xc90! The spring perch is such a restriction on these platforms!! 😢
Nice video! What is the recommended torque in newtonmeter of the bolts?
70 nm big upper nut. 35 nm small 3 nuts.

Why not replace the spring also, looks like an MOT fail to me due to corrosion.
Good video.
Thanks!

Have you checked ball joint, stabilizer bar link and control arm bushes?
@@HeapsofProjects I tried to find something with a crowbar without success. 2 real mechanics also.
@@zalantoth4907 If the sound is when the wheel goes down (or drops into a hole) then I would suspect the shock.
@@HeapsofProjects Yeah, something like that. THanks a lot! I'll take a look.
excellent
Thanks!
