The Driver of the vehicle is never more than a few feet from the vehicle for obvious reasons. I'm sure that there are backups should a Driver become incapacitated or injured. The more people that know it's capabilities, the more risk you run of compromising it's and the President's security. He travels with a small army - everyone can't know about it
