If that warehouse had any sinks there, the kids in there would've turned them on and use the water to help themselves as much as they can against the fire while waiting for the fire department to get them out because the entrance was blocked by a psychopath. It's very rare for the fire department to have heavy rain to help them put out the fire whether it's in the city or not. If a boy had helped save Al Olinsky's daughter from the fire somehow, Olinsky would want to thank the boy for saving her.
They definitely wanted to base this episode off of the 1990 Happyland Club fire in New York, same issues then, the building owners were facing litigation from the city prior to the fire for lack of fire safety and code violations, and the perpetrator for that also had a dispute with an ex girlfriend prior to the fire, she was there at the club that night and he wanted her to suffer, she survived with multiple burns but 87 people weren’t so lucky sadly!!!!!!

Are you wise. Smoke kills more than fire. So would die from smoke inhalation before you could even tackle the fire
