Just ordered the 80he zinc alloy version. 320 euro, so it does cost a leg but i don’t have the 60 and happy to support a Dutch company as a fellow Dutchman :).
Preordered mine a while ago, I have a 60he and I love it but i use a lot of the function keys for work and such. I've been using the Apex Pro TKL for the time being.

I’ve been using the config from some youtuber named Tripp and it was a game changer bhop-wise. Personally find it to be leagues above csgo with my config and my username is literally h0ps, I’ve been bhopping for thousands of hours since 2015 in css/csgo. Only mentioning all that for credibility but yeah definitely check out that dudes youtube for the config.

razer i understand but steelseries did a good job on rapid trigger too and wooting stocks are known to get eradicated real fast and they dont ship to my country ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@sivaxi5114 Good for you i suppose the apex pro mini goes for around 110-150USD here (in turkey) and wooting goes for 175 dollars which is spot on BUT they dont have turkish sellers So if i buy it it will be international shipping and add a lot more to the keyboards price And yes, the razer keyboard goes for around 200-230USD here The taxes in this country are insane btw Also apex pro is actually good enough for me its going to be an upgrade from Apex 3
@sivaxi5114 some ROG and steelseries kb have the same or slightly higher price than the 60HE. Luckily there are several legit resellers who sell the 60HE. I purchased one last feb and just last week they restocked already. I live in the philippines for reference

I bought the 60he+ i was thinking about the 80 but didn’t do it bc I already have multiple 8k and 4K mice n only use 2k pulling rate bc after 2k ur sensitivity is altered and for key strokes I’d imagine since u don’t find tune and in game lay out it wouldn’t make a difference at all unless ur opponent has a 540hz monitor and can see the input distance in the heat of the moment but when it comes to aim if u have 540hz or higher in the future ur aim tick movement is improved. Basically keyboards don’t need 8k rn bc visually others will see u move the same. So the get the 60he+ if u want the advantages of rapid tap and socd. And only get the 80he right now if u wanna buy the keyboard for slightly extra customizations that won’t impact ur performance at all but will change ur overall feel just a little. I’d say the 80he switches r better but u can literally just put those on the 60he+ so it’s still not an upgrade.
What about the 80HE compared to their full size ? Is there any difference (besides the obvious 80% to 100%) ? Any up or even downgrades ? I desperately want a Wooting KB and am wondering what to get. The 80% looks incredibly promising, but being used to a Num pad (due to my work keyboard having one) I am also considering the full size
The full-size is going to have similar performance to the 60HE, so the 80HE will have the V2 switches, 8K polling rate, etc. I don’t think it will have any downgrades but we won’t know until it releases. The 80HE does look promising so far and they have provided so many updates about the whole process. I would probably recommend the 80HE unless you really do need a full size
If you care about performance and sound the akko mod007b and mod007b he are other good choices because of the rapid trigger. On rapid trigger the akko can go to .2 and the wooting .1 for the actuation but you wouldn't notice a difference. The wooting does have better latency though.
tbh Calder himself (one of the ceos or devs that works in and with the Wooting) said most people won't notice the 1k-8k hz difference but iirc rappy snappy is gonna come to 60he
Did you install both updates (4.7 and 2.9)? There should have been one for the software and one for the keyboard. You can also only use the beta version of the web based software
Why couldn't they just made a normal 75 or tkl? Not only this layout is hideous, but also it doesn't fit any case that already exists. And case swapping is a must because of how damn ugly this board is.
i want a numpad but i dont want it on the mouse side why not putting it on the left side permanently ? like the mid have to be between the key G and H so if the arrow keys on the right side why not the numpad on the left side this way you can type in numbers and fast click with the mouse or the arrow keys without moving your left hand from the numpad this is the next gen layout not this tenless key bs. But if we have to do this step first well companies will make money with this step and than "upgrade" the numpad on the left side like its a fkn new feature
Tbh 60 keys aint doing it for me anymore, as time went by i kept looking for function keys, 80 for me would be awesome, instead of buying the 60he, gonna get the new one
sure but the starting latency is already very small. You will not notice the difference between 1k and 8k on a keyboard. Its hardly noticeable on a mouse with extremely high fps and refresh rate.

Yee, well ehm 80% is my jam and the metal case is really interesting stabilitywise.
Rappy snappy is already available for all wooting keyboards and you can always upgrade your 60he with new switches and different plates

The performance won't be really noticeable so it just depends on which layout you prefer. The 80HE looks great though

80he is better than 60he, it's faster and sounds better
There isn’t a huge performance difference between them, so I would just go with what layout you prefer
