It's actually awesome that somehow no matter how goofy some of these videos seem there is always genuine knowledge and insight in them. Love the content man.
as a DJ and Drummer, there's one aspect that you forget about a live band vs a DJ. repertoire. Live bands don't tend to play electronic music or anything that's very production focused for that matter. not to mention lots of DJs also make their own music as well, they're typically referred to as DJ/Producers and the only way to see them live is a DJ set or they have some performance rig where they control the parts of the music live. all of that to say, they're both entertaining
You still make a good point and its probably all for laughs anyway, but I would compare an actor more to a session musician, someone who doesnt write the part but is brought in for their skill to capture the part and they may add their own style to it.
Hi Chris like Mr. Beast's friend, you might be interested in Beardyman. He's about the closest mix between live music and DJ'ing you can get. He started as a beatboxer, then cobbled together a machine that lets him sample himself and manipulate the samples in real time so that he can do fully improvised live shows. Seriously, two hours of straight from his brain music created right in front of you. I don't like most of his music, because it's EDM and I love metal, but I am truly fascinated by him. Also, Nickel Creek is a pretty dope bluegrass band.
Wait as a DJ you dont have to deal with bass players and drummers oh yeah and lead singers ... so be a dj with a guitar lol music is heading that way any way fallow the click been awhile bud good to see ya
Someone is going to click on this video expecting an average video essay on the topic. I pray for that person.
Right?
My first instinct when I saw the title was "FROM MY COLD, DEAD HANDS" 😂
This Dj should be a recurring character you two are so fuckin funny together
Honestly my favorite music channel. Depth and insight.. it's all there

The strange moment when you recognize the places you’re filming at. I’ve got lots of memories in that parking deck, hell yeah bro
Perfect blend of top tier comedy while making amazing points. 100% respect both sides, love you stuff dude.
The fact that Jim clip in the beginning was sampled on a skrillex song is ironic
I didn't know I arrived in philosophy class when I went into this video...
