very true..I also liked some KillRockStars, and Simple Machines comps, not to mention some great soundtracks like Singles, Pump Up the Volume, Reality Bites, Pulp Fiction, Half-cocked, Glory daze...
Yep, Kill RockStars had some good stuff, for sure! I was also a huge fanof that Saturday Morning Cartoons compilation. Also, yes, all good soundtracks. I'm even going to add Empire Records, S.F.W., and Mallrats to the pile. It's awesome that yu mentioned Glory Daze and Pump Up The Volume.
hmm.. my 90's aiwa walkman player still works today [almost 10yrs didnt hear music from cassette player] :D n this Album i play first hehee.. (geffen compilation Rarities vol.1) my most fave are grunge couple [track.6] n jamie/weezer [track.3] \m/
Thanks...I've been wondering for years where this riff came from. I did a little research and found that the Anthrax track ("Pipeline") is a cover. The original version is by The Chantays, a '60s surf band.
Yesterday I got a cassette from a band called "Jesuicide".. They somehow remind me of Fireclown! The band released "Nothing..." in 1992 - you should check it out or write to me if you're interested!
Their is somegreat tracks of bands ive never heard of. I've got one for you, Uk Bristol band Moist Relief. Check out their song and video Slaughter of the Innocent
Thumbs up if 90s music was just better.
